Educació orld The World of Education (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. My Success Story Down the Memory Lane I feel highly elated to share my initial experiences in the field of teaching in school which moulded and paved my way into becoming a Principal of a reputed school in Sagar today. Standing on the threshold of a new world altogether in 1997 , the teachers world , sent a cold down my spine but I accepted the challenge as i have to groom my children single handed after the sudden demise of my beloved husband. This unfamiliar and unknown environment of school made me strong to take up this mission and face come whay may my strength, belief , respect and determination in self grew many folds to guide and steer me through the odds. I was fortunate to work with a wonderful team of school teachers in St. Joseph's S.S. School , Sagar, who wre not only my mentors but also helped me to sort out issues . I owe them all a great deal . Well ! It was an ordeal to work as an untrained teacher in the middle and high school , the subjects being English and Social Studies. Each day placed a plethora of issues before me only to make me stronger . My perseverance soon made me popular among my students . Everyday i confronted the students mischief , naughtiness , innocent tiffs but i enjoyed them all. Soon i was made.the head of Cultural Activities, Co - Ordinator and also head of English Department . I conducted several events , competitons on occasions which brought laurels to school . This is how I grew from ordinary to special . I always lived , with the motto , ' Grow where planted ' and I think I did justice to the school and students as well .. My journey of teaching in school ended in 2014 and 2015 I became the founder Principal of Mascot Public School and continue to serve till date . With my deepest and heartfelt reverence I thank the almighty immensely for guiding me and to be by my side to the last It is rightly said,\" Little drops of water , little grains of sand , make the mighty ocean, and the pleasant land .\" It is the little things in life that counts for mother , father and teacher to make a child determined and self confident this is my area of excellence.

Educació orld The World of Education (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. My Life Journey as an Educationist Being an educationist is indeed a potpourri of diverse experiences and phases. The best part however is making impact, not only on the students but also on the staff of educators who work tirelessly to ensure we achieve our aim as life changers and empower the younger generation with knowledge skills and values and give them the platform to become global citizens in an ever-changing world. Being in the ebb of leadership in an international educational institution in Nigeria West Africa,my leadership journey as an educationist was one of self-discovery, followed by the weight of responsibility. My story won't be complete without play back of my classroom experiences. Like many educators, I loved being a blend of everything that encapsulate teaching and always looked forward to a class full of bright, eager faces and sharp minds that intrigued me enough to make me be the best I can be. At first my passion to teach and to coach was more important to me than to lead, however as time went on and I began to take up more roles and responsibility and I realized that teaching, coaching and leadership are actually intertwined, I found a passion for school leadership, and I love that I am able to make an impact on an entire school community. Of course, being an educationist comes with its own baggage, balancing administrative duties and unforeseen crises while focusing on the school's mission of teaching and learning is no easy task. Perhaps the toughest challenge is to remain focused on what teachers and students need most when the daily routine of running a school, with its innumerable minor crises, becomes overwhelming. It takes a lot of positivity, passion, patience as well as planning to keep up with your goals and vision for yourself, your students and the school community as a whole. I cannot talk about my journey as an educationist without mentioning the role mentorship has played to help me succeed. I've been fortunate to have loads of mentors along my leadership journey all through my professional career. My mentors as well as my experiences have shaped how I work with others. They've led me to understand the following concepts, which I apply to enable me strike a balance each school year. * Appreciate people. As a leader, you owe your subordinates a school environment where they feel valued, inspired and appreciated. Everybody likes to be valued. Give credit to those who deserve it and be liberal with praise. Love unconditionally but be wary of people who constantly pluck your feathers to clean their ears else you will never fly. * Be an example. Practice what you preach. Don't just dish out instructions. Help your team navigate through tasks. Be inspirational, influential, and impactful. Model the behavior you wish to see in your students as well as you teaching staff. * Continues improvement is a must for you and for your team. Seek new ways to do regular things. Avoid being contented with past glories. Always seek opportunities for continuous improvement and be consistent with the professional development of your team. * Discipline is key.Leadership is all about what you consistently do on a day-to-day basis. It's all about your rituals and routines. Leadership requires discipline. We all need the discipline to stay focused, to achieve our goals and targets, to be financially prudent and to manage time. * Encourage teamwork, celebrate team success. Teamwork diffuses negative competition. Be a team-building leader and also a good team player. * Follow through with plans. Avoid procrastination. What you say is what you should do and if you can't meet up. Own up. Repair bridges because the show must go on. Remember, people know you for what you've done, not for what you plan to do.Following through with plans is a sure way is to promote your credibility, earn trust, and establish yourself as a leader. * Give of your time, your knowledge, your skills, your commendations, your talent. Your support. The world needs more givers. A leader who is a giver has followers that are emotionally connected to them. * Have Plan A, Plan B, Plan C and more. Effective leadership must have contingency plans. Forecast, Prepare, Project and be proactive. The educational space is always evolving without planning ahead, there may likely be learning gaps or communication gaps with your team * Inculcate the habit of holding regular meetings/sessions with your team. Be an educationist of many meetings. Feedback is an important currency in every organization especially in an institution of learning. With regular meetings, you can give and get information to push your team forward. * Positivity, patience, passion and persistence are a necessity on your success journey. Without these in your backpack, you may sometimes find it hard to keep pushing on. * Time is the currency of the 21st century. Have a plan for your time, try to create realistic deadlines, eliminate distractions and time wasters, build routines, know what is urgent and what is important, most of all value every moment. You can't get a refund for wasted time. * Understand the times and the seasons. Be flexible enough to adopt new strategies to adapt to anything. Be willing to change because life won't stay the same. A leader who isskilled at this competency embrace change is open to new ideas, and can work with a wide spectrum of people. * Vain glory leads nowhere. Be a humble leader, respect yourself and others. Pride dims your aura, avoid it. Own up to mistakes, apologize if you have to. Listen and learn. Find the lessons in every criticism. Remember Pomposity diminishes talent. * xylophones do not play on their own, you need mentors, you need collaborators, you need a great team and relevant connections that will amplify your value to the world. Remember to build strong networks, it is a necessity for leadership. * You have to pay attention to yourself, your health, your happiness, your belief and everything that surrounds you. You cannot pour out of an empty mug. You're searching for that one person that will change your life, take a look in the mirror. Take care of yourself so you will be strong enough to take care of others and promote a culture of whole school wellbeing as an educationist. While my journey has been exciting so far, I look forward to writing more chapters of my life as an educationist. My hope is that I will be able to continue to hone my leadership practices and make more of an impact on the lives of students and our school community.

Educació orld The World of Education (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. My Success Story Dr Abdul Kalam has rightly said that teaching is a very noble profession that shapes the character, calibre, and future of an individual. For me success is a journey and not a destination. This journey has been going on for many years and is still going without wanting to know its destination. Once I look for the destination my success story will end. As I focused on the query of what I was becoming as a teacher the path of success unfolded itself. I found that the more I gave, the more I got. This was not in terms of material gains which my job as a teacher could offer to me but spiritual happiness. I got to experience this when I interacted with my students. Their thirst for knowledge, their enthusiastic responses, and their unconditional love gave me strength and hope of doing new things. Interacting with kids makes me forget all my worries and pains. It gives me immense happiness and satisfaction at the end of the day our practice sessions made us bond with one another. The students enjoy the lessons and start imagining every event taught in the class by placing themselves in the protagonists shoes. What else I could have asked for if not for the smile of the students with my lessons. My goal as a teacher is to translate response into results. I would like to end by sharing my secret recipe for my success story as teacher. Passion, Hope, Will, Strength, Smile and Inspiration to all. Thanks to God I am bestowed with these gifts that enable me to translate” My Success Story” from this page to real life. Name: Khan Sameena Mannan

Educació orld The World of Education (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. My Success Story Myself Priya Lokras, Designation Academic Coordinator. Institution Mascot Public School Sagar M.P. Regional Director in R.K.Das forum and speaker as well Qualifications: Bachelor's degree B.Sc. Subjects: Zoology, Botany and Chemistry.. Post Graduation: M.A.English Literature, M.Lib.Masters in Library Science., Professional Degree B.Ed. Medium English through out . Or Medium of studies English. Q.1. What is your success story? Ans. Success is only a step towards hard work. As the success when the word being spelt and said it itself gives and indicates happiness. As with the sincerity with the hard work and passion and then when u will interact you will ahead as nothing is impossible in this world . AS IT IS RIGHTLY SAID . \" Patience is a key element of success.\" By Bill Gates. And success remarks it resemblance. Your Positive Actions Combined With Positive Thinking Results In Success. By Shiv Khera. So your positivity works when youdo the actions positively. Successful people tend to become more successful because they are always thinking about their successes and thus success seems to be connected with actions and they are the people who keep moving. They make mistakes but they don't quit. Success lies through perseverance and many people win success out of what seemed destined to be certain failures. As personally when i talk about myself it is being created and said how she is and how she does and in that regard I always want to be ahead and curious for achieving success. I alwaysthink to get success and sees the picture of motivation, self motivation because i was hesitating and have fear that what others will think about mean and feel about me. So as the self motivation guides us so same in my matter where i get appreciation and get ready to do in accordance. As I believe that self motivation guides usand in your life journey many people who met you and with some you get inspired and do it likewise and thus wants to beand with your determination and courage not to give up you lead and that is success. Oliver's book always books that gives enthusiasm and spirit also as you do the whole card you close it your hardening from inside and as god always helps those those who help themselves. So it's the same. To learn from your mistakes is courageous and that is require in your success because success speaks confidence and confidence comes from the work and those who are learning they never worried what others are doing. And in work when we are getting the boundness of appreciation, motivation, self motivation, which is all lifting that to lift them up not talk down to people. So happiness is in your life depends on the quality of your thoughts. And it needs to be said and heard and it's ok to be who you are. So thus now So Success is the state or condition of meeting a defined range of expectations. It may be viewed as the opposite of failure. The criteria for success depends on context and may be relatively related to particular observerthat is to the belief system. So according to Bill Gates It was very much important for Bill Gatesto heed the lessons of failure in comparison to the joy of success. He quoted that success is a failure in progress and someone who has never failed cannot truly be a successful person .During his childhood he suffered from continuous failure. A success story creates your visibility, credibility and clarity around the value and application of change management. So this is success which comes from failure as in my case also i get insulted without as serious matter which hurts you the most and creates improper mentality which is mostly from ignorance and insult. As it is being said that god is always for your help and when you are trusting then he show the path which is drastic change and his change gives enthusiasm and thus marks your development which is success. And thus Change is always good. As it is with me also when i was blamed and insulted which make me to move and i thus tske the lesson not to see back and thus forward and forward. And a step forward change institution and also the post now which gives glory and shine in my personality with many achievements and thus this is success in my attribution.

Educació orld The World of Education (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. Life Journey Deep down, every good teacher knows the impact and importance of education. It isn’t just about learning reading, writing and arithmetic at school. Instead, formal education is about gaining the knowledge and the skills needed to become a better person and create a better society to live in. A proper education sets people up to grow personally, professionally, and socially. It can awaken joy, curiosity and a deep desire to solve problems and help others. Plus, teaching a student can inspire them to pursue leadership roles and positively impact those around them. One of the other many benefits of education is that it can broaden a student’s horizons, helping them understand more about other cultures and corners of the world beyond the school door A good teacher can awaken joy in their students and leave a positive impression that lasts a lifetime. But from time to time, every educator can use a little reminder of just how important they are, and how far their influence can go. I started the journey 3 years back by joining an institute as an manager imparting trainings to students for an innovative quizzing on aspects wading of with the development of technology and ongoing - Teacher. “You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.”

Educació orld The World of Education (OPC) Pvt. Ltd. My Life Journey I don't think I had an aversion to teaching―I just figured I wanted to try something else, take a different path. Math and science came easily to me, so I assumed that an engineering career would play to my strengths. My journey as a Professor started many years ago when I became a Lecturer. I got my first teaching job as Lecturer at Vinayaka Missions Kirupanada Variyar Engineering College, Salem. Slowly year after year I got promoted as Assistant Professor. I am married, have two children, teach full-time, and have a more positive outlook on life because I am doing something I'm passionate about. As I did not have a PhD degree at that time, my promotion stopped there. My urge to ask what next was there in my mind all the time and my focus shifted to pursuing Ph.D. I got my Ph.D degree at 6th Sep 2017. I Promoted as Head of the Department. I have worked in different positions in different colleges and gained a lot of experience. Finally, if you ask me which position was the happiest one, I would happily say the position of a Professor. Looking back on my career I can honestly say that much of what I learned about life was when I was a Professor and not as an administrator. When I look back to College days, I remember my Computer Science Professor Dr.Vinobha, was the first person who inspired me and I used to copy all his mannerisms and always made sure that his subject homework was complete. I never wanted to be degraded in front of him. Through his nurturing attitude I gained confidence in myself and I started acting like a Professor, rather like Dr.Vinobha at home when I played with my siblings. In those days we used the doors as blackboards and I loved to mark attendance in a rough note book. That was the time when I developed a love for teaching. When I took up teaching the Professor's profile had completely changed. It's not fun all the time. The students, their parents, the administration, lesson plans, observation reports, report cards, bulletin boards, assemblies, skits, competitions, standardized testing – the list is endless but I continued to find ways to keep the fun in my classroom. I remember in one of the classes I taught, I used to conduct one minute competitions everyday and students used to wait for me to enter. As a matter of fact, at times students don't like you. And you know what? That's alright, as long as you do your best to provide them with an education they deserve. Don't take it personally. Keep teaching fun all the time. I still believe this. If I can make a student smile, who feels he/she has nothing to smile about; if I can teach a lesson that clarifies a concept; if I can boost a child's self-esteem and instill confidence in him; if I allow a child the chance to share his feelings, then, I feel I have made a difference. And as frustrating as teaching has become, this is the belief that has remained steadfast in my heart and mind, that I can still make a difference! When I turn back to look at the journey of my career I love the phase when I was just a Professor. Tips to keep up the fun in teaching for the young Professors: * Be open about your own passion. Share your passion for teaching with your students. Be an example. * Get the entire class passionate about learning. * Make learning fun by creating authentic experiences, making connections in learning. * Offer opportunities in the classroom for real life lessons. * Implant a sense of pride in whatever the students do. * If you were thinking about something, working on a project, or just walking along and found something of interest that relates to class, tell your students about the experience. * Whatever the content you are teaching, let the students apply that knowledge to real life experiences. * Give them a glimpse of the real world. * Set goals and reward improvement. Lavishly reward students who make any improvement.
