YES! NOIntroduction I wrote a beginning in which I  introduced my topic and stated my opinion.Organization I wrote several reasons or examples Elaboration of why readers should agree with my  opinion and wrote two or more  sentences about each reason. I organized my writing so that it makes sense. I supported my reasons with examples and information from a text, my knowledge, or my life. I cited all the sources and texts that I used to support my opinion.Transitions I connected my ideas and reasons  with my examples using words such as for example, because, therefore, and since.Developed by Educational Performance Consultants. Conclusion Did I write like a third grader? YES! NO I wrote a conclusion related  to my opinion. Task Focus I re-read the prompt to make sure my writing met  the task.Punctuation Before my final draft I checked for correct punctuation (capitalization, commas, quotations, etc.)Grammar I used words and phrases  correctly to bring my writing to life.Spelling Before I wrote my final  draft I checked to make sure all my words were spelled correctly to the best of my ability.
