Goals by 2023: · 1 million people empowered and supported 2) Drive for sustainable value chain management practices Create win-win partnership internally and externally to optimize resources and/or create innovation and exchange knowledge.Offer more sustainable products and services as well as supply traceability Goals by 2024: Increase Minor Hotels’ Guest Loyalty Net Promoter Score (NPS) to 50 by 2024 3) Manage environmental impact and advocate conservation Minimize environmental impact Optimize consumption of natural resources such as water and energy by using 3R approach – Reuse, Reduce and Recycle including efficiency improvement Goals by 2024: 75% Reduction of single-use plastic by 2024 (Baseline 2018) for Minor Food and Minor Hotels in Thailand
2.Contemporary Issue People Lack of staff knowledge – Employees who are not trained well about the products and services will cost negatively towards the organization. example – Customers could be unsatisfied with the products and services when the employees lack knowledge or when they are not trained with the proper knowledge. Minor international new employees will face this issue. Staff turnover – When there is no development within the company there will be a high staff turnover. Minor hotels faces this issue where staff career development is not on a satisfactory level and experienced employees will look for new opportunities in other companies. Customers Customers are not satisfied with the products and services for the value they are paying. Minor international do have luxury brands if the products are not up to the standard customers will not be satisfied. Negative feedback – Minor hotels and minor food will face this as it will negatively impact for potential future customers.
Internal business environment Organizations policies and procedures – Employees are not aware about the company policies and procedures where conflicts can arise because of different opinions. Organization culture – Minor international will have a unique culture where some employees will find it hard to adopt to. External environment Bargaining power of the supplier Minor internationals were creating some of the criteria’s when selecting the suppliers for the organization. Because the company has identified that the quality and deliver time of the supplier will make an impact on their final product. New entrants As there are more competition in the hospitality industry. Minor international group should keep updating with new information to be competitive in the market. As a result, minor hotels are implementing new technologies and innovative ideas to expand the business into the success.
