Globa..l.Achievers Diwali the lights of the festival “Let this Diwali burn all your bad times and enter you in good times” Diwali is the festival of lights celebrated in India and some other parts of the world. It signifies the victory of good over evil, i.e. Lord Rama over Ra- vana and the homecoming of Lord Rama after an exile of 14 years. People eagerly wait for Diwali as it is a significant festival which brings a wave of enjoyment, peace and harmony with lights all around. Preparations for Diwali are started in the homes weeks in advance. Houses are painted, and all dirty and waste things are thrown. Every corner of the house is cleaned. This festival is of cleanliness. On the first day of the celebration, people begin cleanin their homes and making lovely enrichments on the floor, for example, rangoli. The second day of the Diwali is called Choti Diwali. On the third day of Diwali people will encounter the most blingy evening of the month Kartika. Diwali is a post-harvest celebration. Goddess Lakshmi symbolizes three virtues: wealth and prosperity, fertility and plenti- ful crops, in addition to good luck. Merchants pursue Lakshmi’s blessings. There are precisely five days of Diwali first is Dhanteras it is originated as Dhan means wealth. Globa..l.Achievers There are precisely five days of Diwali first is Dhanteras it is originated as Dhan means wealth. The second day is of Choti Diwali that is also called Naraka Chaturdashi that is mainly joy for children for buying sweets & new clothes. Choti means little while Naraka means hell and Chaturdashi means fourteenth. This day is seen as ways to liberate souls from the suffering in Naraka as it reminds of the third day, which is of Diwali. Diwali is for Lakshmi puja and the last day of the lunar month. This is the day when Hindus, Jains and Sikh people light up their homes by lights go to temple to pray for the good livelihood and light up the temple by candles. The fourth-day annakut, padwa, known as Govardhan puja. The fifth day is the favourite day of girls known as bhai duj or bhau beej this is meant for the brothers, and the sisters do the bhai tilak and brothers give them money or chocolates in return as it celebrates the bond of sister and brother. Amid festivities, we forget the firecrackers which are good to watch but in the end, creates a lot of pollution and waste around. Bursting crackers generate noise and air pollution. They can be dangerous for kids and cause fatal burns. Bursting crackers reduces air-quality index and visibility at many places which are responsible for accidents that are reported after the festival. Hence it is very e essential to have safe and eco-friendly Diwali. Scripted By - Bhavya Ahuja OCTOBER, 2020 | 4

In general, man freezes in dread of hesitation, which takes the opportunities coming your way, and you become defenseless against feeling discouraged and have low confidence. The world welcomed this versatile personage amid all bustle on 15 August, 1975. The sky's the limit for those who never give up and she is a paradigm of this fact. Dr. Manisha Singhal was born and mooted in New Delhi. Her schooling has been done from various schools in various cities of Uttar Pradesh due to her father's transferring job. She completed her graduation from Chaud- hary Charan Singh University, Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. OCTOBER, 2020 | 11

Dr. Manisha isn't just a doctor who provides therapeu- tic treatment to her patients to cure their mental health. She's saving lives by showing them the path of contentment and by giving them the stopgap of 'Dance'. Dancers don't need wings to fly. She has been dancing since the time she can't even walk properly. If she's the heart then dance is the blood that flows through her veins and keeps her alive. Being a versatile person, she faced many downfalls in every aspect of her life. In her juvenile, while dancing she twisted her ankle in Ballet Class which led to fracture and the doctor advised to stop dancing but excuses are just for losers, winners make things done and similarly, she healed her injury with her determination and stood back on her leg just after a week. Again, she fractured her little toe during a fight in Krav- maga but even that also didn't deter her from continuing both Kravmaga and dance. The message she wants to convey is that \"There's nothing called luck, everyone has plenty of prospects and options to learn, succeed and reach heights. So firstly, never compare your success with others and explore yourself first. This way you can create a new path with new discover- ies rather than the following anyone. Globa..l.Achievers \"Ek Sur Aur Ek Awaaz\" can turn the world upside down with positive changes. Work as per your capacity and con- tinue the chain of donating one rupee per person to create a big difference. This chain can help all the people in need. Gurjeet Ji's father left them when he was young while serv- ing in the air force, and then there was a lot of struggle with no money. The ones he had trust and faith in did not help in need. Time has been his teacher and role model. With passing time, the situa- tions changed for good. It is just the beginning of a social movement, and with time it will be a revolution to help the people in need by only donating one rupee. Gurjeet Ji is planning on opening Deep Daan Community centres in all the big and small cities for the people. These centres would provide them with medical facilities and ensure that no one sleeps hungry Along with this, there would be free coaching cen- tres having libraries for those who want to read and gain knowledge.. Gurjeet Ji is a source of inspiration and his idea of sanskaras in need of the hour to be taught with our country's roots and culture. The country is his top priority, and everything comes after it. Glob.a..l Achievers Children are eas- ily approachable and happier than adults. Their innocence, accept- ance and inquisitive ques- tions touch your heart. Being with children always made her happy. Priti’s love and passion for working with children and parents are full of joy, happiness and compassion. One should make small goals in life and keep repeat- ing it. Setting achievable goals helps you to keep moving ahead with a purpose. We all have plans, all of them are not successful. How to manage those emotions is tricky and chal- lenging. So leave what is not in your control and focus on what is inside you which can be controlled. Her quest to resolve issues of stu- dents, teachers, parents and management give her the satisfaction of learning through each solution and in a micro level contribute to the sys- tem. She says that being a teacher she had to balance family and school. This took a lot of her time as they have to prepare what to teach the next day. This work needs a lot of mind and dwelling. People out there should understand the hard work done by the teachers. Parenting is an equally important aspect for the development of a child. If there is no pattern in the house than it wouldn’t be reflective in the school as well no matter how hard the teachers try. All those who are reading this article should keep collaborating to learn and be adaptive to changing time. Scripted By : Shubhangini Singh Mahecha OCTOBER, 2020 | 16
