SIDDHARGAL POTRI THOGUPPU 51 Note.2. “Anma” (Soul) is imprisoned in this body, the constitution of three ‘malas’ (Impurities). If the body of three malas is set at nought, the “Anma” will be released. If the body is to be devoid of Malas one shall have the blessings of St. Thirumoolar who has successfully cleansed the Mummalas of the body. Without His grace, the stain of three malas will not vanish. If malas vanish, the mala of mind and that of soul will vanish. Note.3. A man must understand his body and soul. Such a man alone is an enlightened man. If a man does not know this, whatever might have been his learning may not be considered as literate. If a man wants to learn the art of deathlessness one must learn the art of deathlessness and attain salvation from this birth, one must have the blessings of St. Thirumoolar.
SIDDHARGAL POTRI THOGUPPU 52 Note.4. He is the virtuous man who has understood that this birth can be got rid of only with the grace of Guru. Note.5. A man who thinks that for advancement, the grace of a Guru is not essential and his education alone is enough is chaff among men. Note.6. A man is virtuous if he is able to identifying a genuine Guru and get His blessings. Only Virtuous men get the blessings of a genuine Guru. Non virtuous Men cannot identify the real Guru. Even if they identify them, they cannot get their blessings.
SIDDHARGAL POTRI THOGUPPU 53 Do not Give to Unworthy; the Giver and the Receiver Both Reach Hell You may give away wealth As massive as a mountain; Yet if you give it To those that adore not our Lord, You shall with them reach The Seventh Hell of ineffable pain. Thirumanthiram 508 If any family folk offer materials to Spiritualists who have not understood that St.Agastheesar is the Chief of Gnosis and not worship Him, the folk who offer such materials and those who accept will land in “Hell”.
SIDDHARGAL POTRI THOGUPPU 54 Holy Guru Shows the Way The countless Devas worshipped Siva; What becomes them By worshipping Him? Far better it be, That you worship the Holy Guru —Who, having himself worshipped Lord Shows the Way of Becoming, too; Sure, indeed, is your Mukti finite. Thirumanthiram 2119 Crores of people are worshipping Lord Siva. As they are doing without knowing who Lord Siva is, they are not able to reap the spiritual gains. Understanding the preceptor St.Agatheesar as Lord Siva and worship Him one can get all

Adore Siva and Be Immortal The pious mortals who praise the Supreme Lord, In time to come, to the Immortals’ status rises; Who fail not in penance, His smiling Grace receive; Thus the Lord of penances rare awards the Supreme prize. Thirumanthiram 303 If a lofty laudation is sung on St. Agatheesar the great, even ordinary man becomes an extraordinary person. Not only that if anyone worships and with true heart eulogizes St. Agatheesar he can become a Gnani also. St.Agatheesar blesses those who praise Him. He also blesses who have heard and worships him. Hence it is certain that whoever praises St. Agatheesar with true heart will become a “Gnani”.
SIDDHARGAL POTRI THOGUPPU 56 How the Gnana Guru Instructs He humbles before Divine Guru In postures five (sensual organs) ordained; He bewails his faults, Praises Master’s virtues; Guru then shows the way of deliverance from mortal prison And imparts Siva Gnana He is truly the Guru that is of Sanmarga (Gnana Guru). Thirumanthiram 1701 Let us Hail the Holy Feet of St. Thirumoolar and get salvation from this birth. All the 131 Saints in this book are very Great Gnanis who have attained consummate ‘Bliss’. The principal among them are St. Agatheesar, St. Nandeesar, St. Tirumoolathevar,
SIDDHARGAL POTRI THOGUPPU 57 St. Bogar, and St. Karuvoor Munivar. The 131 Siddhars mentioned above are Saints. The greatest knowledge is - the thought to pray and get their blessings. If we sit on a white cloth on level ground, lighting a lamp and recite “Siddhargal potri” for thirty minutes in the morning and evening there will be peace in the family. Noble children will be born. Liabilities will be cleared and wealth will increase. He will get good health and long life. Further, agriculture, business and job will flourish without interruption. If the people who undertake a travel keep this ‘Siddhargal Potri compilation’, book in their pockets, no accident will occur. No harm will happen to them on account of evil spirits, wild animals or poisonous creatures. Thieves and enemies will not harm them. Whatever we yearn will materialize without any
SIDDHARGAL POTRI THOGUPPU 58 interruption. Hence this ‘Siddhargal Potri compilation’ shall be felt and chanted daily. All the 131 saints are “Gnanis” who have attained “Deathless Grand Life”. Chanting of their Holy names again and again dispels ignorance and pure knowledge appears. If one continues the recitation of ‘Siddhargal potri’, he shall be able to discriminate the act as evil and virtue before it is done. When this realization dawns on them, they will become Gnanis. ‘Sanmargam’ is creation of happiness for all beings by one’s thought, word and deed. ‘Thunmargam’ or evil way is the creation of harm to all beings by one’s thought, word and deed.
SIDDHARGAL POTRI THOGUPPU 59 It is good to get virtue by doing ‘ANNADHANAM’ (Poor Feeding). But still better is living without killing any beings and practicing vegetarianism. Those who want to attain salvation must follow not only the principles outlined above in this book but also chant the Holy name of the Immaculate Blissful Agatheesar for 10 minutes every morning and evening by “Om Agatheesaya Namah” which not only absolves the past acts of demerits but also “Gnana” dawns. THIS IS OUR EXPERIENCE.
