Getting ready for school The night before school starts, get your clothes ready and pack your bag. Pack the things you need in your bag: Water bottle. Healthy snack. Your own packed lunch. A coat or jumper if needed. You don’t need to bring your reading records or anything else.
Arriving at school Things might look a bit different. There will be signs on the floor and the walls to remind adults to keep their distance. Check you know: • Entrance gate (the green gate near the field). • Classroom (Y6, Y5, or Y4). • Name of your teacher. • Name of your class. (Teachers and classes will be confirmed by email or tele-
Arriving at school Please arrive at school at 8.45am. Please do not arrive early. Please maintain social distancing and keep 2m away from others. Find your class group on the field where your teacher will give you further instructions.

Keeping you safe Hand-washing • Your teacher will ask you to wash your hands a lot! • Have a look at this guide about how to wash your hands.
Keeping you safe ‘Catch it, bin it, kill it’ • When you cough use a tissue, this should be thrown away after and you should wash your hands. • Don’t touch your mouth, nose and eyes with your hands. • Tell an adult if you are feeling unwell.
Keeping you safe Stay with your class • Follow the rotas and rules for where you can and can’t play during break and lunch times. • Each class will have their own play zone. • These will be marked out and shown to you. • Follow the rules for using the toilets. • Only use the toilets assigned to your class. • Only 1 child at a time and wash your hands thoroughly.

Break time Check the rota with your adult • Use the toilet before or after break. • Stay in your class group with your adult. • Stay within your zone. • Zones will be rotated but you will stay in your classes for this.
Lunch time You will eat with your class • You will have 1 hour for lunch. • An MSA will stay with you while you are eating and playing. • You will sit at the same table each day. • You will use one door to go in and one door to go out. Packed lunches • You will only eat your own food. • All rubbish must be taken home in your lunch bag. • Nothing is to be thrown away at school.
Home time Adults collecting • Parents please wait in the drop off/pick up zone. • Please stay 2m away from others while you are waiting. Walking home alone • Your class teacher will let you know when it is time to go home. • An adult will take children who are walking home along to their exit (the silver gate). • Go straight home, stay safe and do not stop to chat to your friends.
Home time Keyworkers • Stay in your classroom. • An adult will let you know when your parent has arrived. • You will be collected from the main office.
