An aspect of our progres-sive attitude and endeavours is in our social media offering and our communications platform is directlyreferenced in the sports pages of local press. This encompasses weekly member mailshots, Facebook,Twitter and You Tube as well as our website, which is used by Oswestry Members both across the UK andinternationally.As well as the general Rugby Club Members, the clubhouse is regularly utilized by corporate clients, thegeneral public and other sports clubs. Oswestry Adult Teams “Shropshire's Premier Community Sports Club“Oswestry have two adult team the prestigious 1st XV playing in the South Lancashire/CheshireLeague 2. Our 2d XV contains a great mix of experience many ex-1st XV and colts bridging thegap between youth and adult rugby. At Oswestry Rugby club building a legacy of player who havedeveloped from the under 6 team to the 1st XV is paramount to the longevity of our success. and

Oswestry Junior Teams “Shropshire's Premier Community Sports”Oswestry Junior section has teams from under 13’s to under18’s with squads as large at 30 players in an age group. Rugbygets serious for the young men it is almost a coming of agefacing new challenge such at 15 a side, scrummaging, full sizepitches, competitive League and Cup competitions. The oppor-tunity for player to progress to County, Regional and Nationalrepresentation forming a very important and rewarding partof a young rugby player development and transition to adultRugby.



Oswestry Mini Teams “Shropshire's Premier Community Sports”Oswestry Mini section has teams from under 6’s to under 12’swith squads as large at 30 boys and girls in an age group. Formany young child Rugby is a sport they only have seen on TVwhich can be intimidating and appear exceptional physical. Forthe mini our focus is on inclusion for all, being part of a team,learning skill whilst have fun playing tag rugby. As player moveup to the under 8 team they start to experience contact in thefor of tackling a mile stone in a young player development. Eachyear as a mini player moves up an age group their rugby devel-ops with rucks, mauls and uncontested scrums. The morals ofrugby are embraced by each and every player.

Oswestry Girls Academy “Shropshire's Premier Community Sports”The Girls Academy is a fantastic success story for Oswestry Rugbyclub. Mixed rugby end when girl finish at under 11’s and historical-ly have very few options due to the lack of club with girls teamstructure. We have been the shine light in Shropshire by building aGirls section with under 13’s, 15’s and 18’s.With over 50 registered player from all over Shropshire and evenin to Wales, enabling other club for have a platform for their girlsplay. We have had the honour of 7 player representing Cheshire, 1player representing North of England and 1 player representingMidlands. This year our under 18’s are playing in a national cup,player against Premiership Academy girls side.

Junior & Mini Festival Packages “Join a group of Companies like no other “This Season is a milestone to demonstrate the ambition of Oswestry Rugby club by holding aFestival of rugby for Mini’s on 22nd April 2018. we will have between 800 and 1200 childrenplayer matches from potentially 20 club for a day of fantastic fun and rugby. This will be thesingle event each team will build up to through the season to win the trophy as FestivalChampions in their age group.The event will receive local press, radio, social media and website coverage plus each carattending will receive a full program including a full editorial of the main sponsors company.This will be one of the largest Rugby events in Shropshire and the biggest Oswestry has evenstaged. You will also aware all the trophies to the winning teams.Headline Sponsorship package starts from £5,000.
