Why do we give ourchisels a high point load?Because it matters.For a chisel to work correctly, the chisel point should face near directlyforward. When the sustained resistance applied to chisel points exceedsthe point load, the chisel point moves up and backwards. This moves thenarrow profile chisel point from forward to facing downward, creating less soil lifting and moresoil pushing.
