Book Project (Coral Reef)

My name is Reefs. I live under the wave, all around the world.

I am the most diverse marine ecosystem. I provide shelter to thousands of marine species. More than 25 percet of marine life and 500 million people rely on me.

My ancestors can be traced back 240 million years ago and I can live up to 10,000 years old.... yet I am dying.

Usually, I look very colorful with fish swimming all around me.

But lately, I have been completly stripped white due to climate change.

I am also endangered by local pollution, overfishing, and coastal development.

More than 90 percent of my family will die by 2050.....



IS IT TOO LATE TO PREVENT THIS?
