As you may know, so much of what makes New Orleans culture special can be found in theFrench Quarter.New Orleans Street Cars – While most cities utilize streetcars for short distances or for tourist attractions, New Orleans streetcarsare a vital component to the local transportation infrastructure. It is a great way to get around and experience the history andculture of the city.The 2017 Convention is the second out of three Conventions in a row in that will be held in the Southern Region. Mackie has won numerous awards including the 2003 Presidential Award for Excellence in Science, Mathematics and Engineering Mentoring in a White House ceremony. Dr. Mackie was awarded the highest honor bestowed upon a graduate of Morehouse College, A Candle in the Dark’s “Bennie” Award for his many academic, professional, and entrepreneurial achievements.
