As my 27 years in Blue Belles comes to an end, I want to take the time to thank some people that have been with me along the way. My Leander ISD Dance Team Director Friends - Thank you for always being there to help, lis- ten and encourage me whenever I needed advice. You all have been a group of women that provide a safe place for understanding everything that comes with the job. I’m forever grate- ful for all of you. LHS Admin – Thank you for constantly supporting the Blue Belle program. Thank you for al- lowing me the freedom to be creative, take risks and have fun with my role as the Blue Belle Director. Most importantly thank you for believing in me and entrusting me with all of the ONEderful students that have walked through the studio doors. The LHS Community – Thank you to all of those that have shared their love of dance and sup- ported the Blue Belle organization through the years. Everything we do would not be possible without our community! Blue Belle parents, Blue Belle Alumni, and my current 21-22 team – I can’t even begin to tell you how many ONEderful, amazing people I have crossed paths with from this unique organi- zation. Each and every one of you have touched my heart in a special way that is indescriba- ble. Because I have been a part of the Blue Belle family, I have made so many lasting relation- ships and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. Thank you for letting me enjoy my last dance and remember “I’ll be there for you!” Tracey – We met when I was a 23 year old college student with big dreams of being a dance team director. When I discovered that you lived on Tracy Cove, which was off of Susan Lane, AND that our birthdays were two days apart – I knew that we would have the friendship of a lifetime. You have been a friend to me all of these years and so much more. You gave me a chance as your Assistant Director after you had only been around me for a few months. You have been a leader, an inspiration, a fan -- but most of all my biggest mentor. You have helped me and guided me in so many aspects of teaching, directing and just through life in general. I’m so thankful to have worked with you for 19 years but more importantly to be such close friends for almost 30 years! I love you friend! Ashley – The short time that we have had together has just not been enough. You stepped right in when I needed you the most. You were willing to do any crazy thing I asked of you, and you have not slowed down since. You have worked so incredibly hard to keep Blue Belles what it is today, and I can’t thank you enough for constantly supporting me. You are a ray of sunshine when I arrive to work, and I love to soak up your positivity and energy every day!

My Family and Friends – You have done so much for me throughout this career and you nev- er missed a Spring Show. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for always being there for me. To my Mom and Dad – You have been the solid foundation that taught me work ethic, dedi- cation and how to treat people in life. You took a personal interest in my career and support- ed me through football games, trips, spring shows and banquets. Thank you for always en- couraging me to keep my head high and to reach for my goals. Jeff, Karson, Macey and Blaine – I bet none of you can imagine our lives without being cen- tered around Blue Belles. You all have continually held my hand through this crazy career of mine. If it wasn’t for all of you – some days I don’t think I would have survived. I love each one of you for understanding my passion for dance and how extremely important Blue Belles has been to me all of these years. Jeff, you have absolutely been my rock and my biggest supporter throughout every single day. When you married me, you married into the Blue Belle Family, and you were so willing to help me out with anything I needed. This has been an eventful ride, but I thank GOD each and every day for you, the kids and all that you have done for me all these years! I am so grateful and so blessed! To the audiences for these 3 nights – I hope you enjoy these ONEderful dancers and this ONEderful show.
