School Fees for terms in 2017-18 academic year Per Annum 2017-18 Per Termwill be as follows: £ 7,560 £2,520 Pre-School Reception £ 8,841 £2,947 Primary 1 to Primary 6 Seniors (Excluding Lunch) £ 9,828 £3,276 Seniors (Including Lunch) £10,782 £3,594 £11,172 £3,724Pre-School session costs for 2017-18 academic year 2017-18 2017-18will be as follows: £27 per session £42 per day 36 Weeks - 9am to 1.00pm 36 Weeks - 9am to 3.30pmPre-School:Fees are fully inclusive of Pupil’s Personal Accident Insurance, lunches, books and stationery. children will be required to attend a minimumof four morning sessions per week; the fees will be calculated according to the number of mornings or days your child attends. Peripateticlessons e.g. drama, music and some school trips are not included and will be invoiced separately.Reception to Primary 6:Fees are fully inclusive of Pupil’s Personal Accident Insurance, lunches, books and stationery. Peripatetic lessons e.g. drama, music andsome school trips are not included and will be invoiced separately.Seniors:Fees are fully inclusive of Pupil’s Personal Accident Insurance. Text books, GCSE examinations, peripatetic lessons e.g. drama, music andsome school trips are not included and will be invoiced separately. Fees which are inclusive of lunches, entitles the student to a main dishmeal and a dessert.
Terms:1. A £250 entry deposit is required on acceptance of a place for pre-school, prep and senior school pupils for the current academic year. Thiswill be refunded when your child leaves school.2. All children in pre-school will be required to attend a minimum of four morning sessions.3. Extra sessions can be booked in pre-school depending on availability.4. Non-attendance charges for sessions booked in pre-school will apply.5. Early drop off from 7.30am is offered for all children and will incur no extra charge. A light breakfast can be purchased between8.00am and 8.30am.6. Afterschool care is available from 3.30pm to 6pm for all pupils from pre-school to Primary 6, there is a charge of £3/hour which will includesa light snack.7. A 5% sibling discount is deducted from fees for second children, increasing to 10% for third children and 15% for fourth children.8. The school is able to offer payment of fees over 12 monthly instalments; however, this must be via a bank standing order arrangement.Please request a standing order form from the finance office, if you wish to use this facility.9. Fees not paid by standing order are due on the first day of each term. In accordance with the school’s terms and conditions, a late paymentfee of £200 will be charged on any fees not paid by the due date, and not covered by a bank standing order agreement.10. The school will also add interest at 4% above base rate to the amount outstanding.11. Overdue fees will be referred to the school solicitor. Costs relating to this will be recoverable in full and added to the amount outstanding.12. One full term’s notice must be given, in writing, to the Headteacher on or before the first day of the term at the end of which the pupil is toleave. Rolling notice is not accepted. One full term’s fees in lieu of notice must be paid before the removal of a pupil.Funding:NEF funding is available to assist with the cost of the pre-school and reception. This is available from the term after your child is 3 years olduntil the term of your child’s fifth birthday. As an independent school the 30-hour extended funding will not be accepted.Childcare Voucher Scheme:The parents of pre-school children may wish to partake in the Childcare Voucher Scheme (sometimes called ‘Salary Sacrifice Scheme’)through their place of work. All childcare vouchers are accepted; please talk to our Finance Manager Mrs Binns if you require more information.Prep school parents may wish to pay for after-school care and school run clubs, by using their childcare vouchers.Tax-free childcare payments:Will also be accepted under the same conditions as the childcare voucher scheme.
Scholarships Awarded irrespective of financial means in the senior school for academic, performing arts, art and music and are awarded on the basis of performance in the entrance assessments and auditions for students entering Year 7 in the next academic year. A sports scholarship may be awarded on the basis of performance. Applicants must excel at sport and typically compete at regional or national level. Bursaries Will be considered if bursary funds are available and depending on the financial, compassionate or other circumstances of applicants. Bursaries are not awarded in recognition of academic merit; awards of this type may be granted as scholarships.
