4 NOT ON THE SAME BOAT We've heard we’re all in the same boat, rowing our way through the sea of gloom But it’s not like that We’re in the same storm, but not the same boat Your boat might fall prey to the havoc, but mine may not Or vice versa For some, quarantine is a period filled with optimism, a moment of introspection, and reconnection. For some, this is nothing but a crisis. Yet for some, it’s a turmoil- how am I going to pay my bills? Some have all their needs fulfilled as they conveniently “stocked up”, While some are looking through trash to survive. Some believe to be patient and have faith as miracles do happen, While others believe that the worst is yet to come. So, you see, we’re all in a different boat, sailing through these difficult times of global crisis. We all have different needs and perceptions, and everyone will eventually emerge from this. We’re all on different boats, let’s find our way through united and navigate peacefully. - MONALISHA JENA SECOND YEAR BHARATI VIDYAPEETH'S COLLEGE OF PHARMACY

OR THEY WERE THE HELPING HANDS, JOINING THE ACT OF DEFENDING. MAYBE IT WOULD A LONG WHILE, TO WIN OVER THIS CRUCIAL BATTLE FOR THE DISRUPTED THINGS TO SETTLE, AS ALL THE BAD TIMES PASSES, THIS MAY ALSO TO CULMINATE. Keeping these lines by Tony Stark as our ardent motto, the Editorial board and IPA-MSB-SF as a collective family, kept striding forward. 2020 made us realize the uncertainty of things, of how feeble the human spirit stands in front of nature. \"But a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It is a privilege to be among them,\" Adapting to the new reality, we emerged stronger than ever, with undaunted spirits, an armor of steel and hearts of gold. We got acquainted with new technologies, ventured into new lifestyles by thinking out of the box to organize various events and make this year, despite all of its shortcomings, worth it. These unprecedented times, carve pathways to survive, to battle our worst demons and choose to run towards our problems; not away from them. Because we all, in our own way, are our own heroes.

24 RATNAKAR MANCHAKATLA Chairperson The year 2020 was an unprecedented year for all of us, and we at IPA-MSB-SF experienced the same. The online world seemed to put a lot of restrictions on our interaction and enthusiasm, but we never let it dampen our spirit! I am grateful that all of us stuck together like a family and did what every family does - overcome the hurdles thrown at us together. I have always aimed for IPA-MSB-SF to strive for the betterment of our profession and our society, and we intend to do that in this pandemic too. I feel happy to announce that we are ready to plan a virtual Rx and keep the indomitable spirit of IPA-MSB-SF alive and kicking!

26 ALISHA D'SOUZA cultural secretary Covid-19 has exposed us to inadequacies in different sectors similarly it has been a great impediment for IPA-MSB-SF too. Nothing beats the essence of togetherness, networking and exposure which could be easily experienced by looking around during the physical events. Our prime focus is to offer the same opportunities for building social contact and interactions while digitalising our events. As this is a new territory for us all we are ready to take on these new responsibilities and break the new ground. This scenario demands us to be well prepared for any consequences faced by our participants as things are new to us it's new to them as well. We are steered to be more creative in combining technology with our skills. By small efforts put in by each team member I believe that we will vanquish this hurdle and achieve the best together.

We at IPA-MSB-SF certainly knew one thing that coming up with new ideas is going to be this year's main driving force. This year we weren’t going to be tested only for our management skills but also our imagination and ingenuity. It was my privilege to be chosen as the Sports Secretary for the year 2020-2021. Although we were well aware of the fact that this year to conduct events on the field could be unachievable and planning and executing an online event was going to be a strenuous task, with the assist of technology and the capabilities of all my team members we were able to execute online events and were well prepared for any hurdles that we would face. As of now the journey of this year has been gratifying with every day being a new challenge to tackle and a new experience to learn from and we hope to proceed forward with the same enthusiasm and face every obstacle without letting our inner blaze moribund.

Our social media platforms are a proof of the same. The Public Health Protocol was also modified to suit the current situation and tough times. The pandemic has truly taught us to face all the challenges coming our way and keep a positive attitude to move ahead in life. It brought along newer sets of challenges. Most of the activities carried out by SEO are based on informative, yet enjoyable field visits. Switching to conducting online events, that would provide same level of experience to the participants, was a tough job indeed. But with the help of the team and their creativity, we could develop various events. With the same level of zeal, we are anticipating organizing programs and events for bringing out the suitable aptitude from amongst the students. Even now, we are looking forward to the days when we might restart our old events with full spirit.
