Meadows are home to plant species and birds. Wildflower meadows are a rich and colorful habitat full of grass and flowers. They are not intensively farmed which promotes a high diversity of wild animals and plants.

There are over 2,500 different species of palm trees! Palm trees can grow up to 190 feet tall! The tallest one is in Columbia.Depending on the species of palm trees, some can live for more than a century!

Sand dollars are usually 3 inches wide. They use their spines to move across the ocean. They often gather in large groups and spawn during the spring (May to July).Sand dollars can live up to 10 years in the wild.

Macaws are the largest type of parrot! They can be found in Southern Mexico or Northern Argentina.Once they turn 3, they choose their partner and stay with them for life!

There are over 400,000 types of flowering plants in the world! You may not think of bamboos as flowering plants but they do produce flowers.The largest flower in the world is also the smell- ist.
