About Our CompanyOperating out of a 65,000 square foot facility, Hi-Tech is one of the most respected and trusted manufacturing firms in the Tri-State Area. Founded in 1989, in Maspeth, Queens, Hi-Tech is a full service company. Over the years, the company grew from a small operation to one of the largest metal fabricators in the Tri-State area. Presently, we occupy a 65,000 square foot facility which allows us the ability to remain flexible and efficient without hindering our performance. Our plant houses all different types of machinery, including a punch press, a water-jet machine, a laser-cutting machine, a custom built paint and refinishing shop, a woodworking shop, a robotic welder and more. Situated between Sixth Avenue and Broadway, on 44th Street, Hotel Mela is a beautiful Italian designed boutique hotel with much to offer. With 232 guest rooms, this trendy hotel incorporates culture, style and history seamlessly. Hi-Tech worked hand in hand with Highgate Hotels to design a cab that is not only beautiful, but able to withstand the everyday traffic within the hotel. The new cabs feature a timeless, elegant design utilizing Calcutta Marble laminate panels, wire-mesh and stainless steel metal finishes all throughout the cab. The new porcelain tile flooring in the cab is the perfect match to the hotel’s lobby floor. “This was truly a special project for us and the end result is absolutely phenomenal!
