FEBRUARY 2021 VOL. 10 NO. 04 ISSN: 2449-4674 The new year ushered in with a fresh new start for the Retail Training Team as it went into a full throttle with a series of trainings to support the learning needs of PTT Retail Stations. With Jonathan Espino at the helm, team members Alex Balangue, Arnold Novales, and Jorge Godoy proceeded with the learning sessions at PTT stations in Clark, Pampanga; Sta. Rosa, Laguna; Marilao, Bulacan; Roosevelt, Quezon City; Sta. Maria 3 in Bulacan, SCTEX, Candon, and Nalasin in Ilocos province. The learning sessions covered major topics such as Station Safety, Health Protocols, Serving Customers in the New Normal; Customer Relations, Product Knowledge, and Fuel Dispenser Operations, among others. The series of trainings, also attended by some PTT Dealers, were conducted through combined classroom and hands-on activities. “This gives all participants the opportunity to bridge theory and actual applications in the daily operations of their retail service station,” Espino said, adding that three to days to five days were dedicated to each station to ensure that each trainee has sufficient work knowledge when they start operating on their own.

FEBRUARY 2021 Foundation donates rice to PNP Food Bank, trash bins to local park PTT Philippines Foundation, Inc. headed by its president Paul Senador, also the Director for Corporate Support of PTT Philippines Corporation, recently donated some 50 sacks of rice to the Food Bank Project of the Philippine National Police (PNP) as part of extending support to various outreach programs. The PNP Food Bank is a reservoir of food donations and other basic needs from various donors and stakeholders to be distributed to communities and families who are experiencing the impact of the pandemic and to the victims of natural calamities and emergencies. Maghari, Chief of the Community Affairs Division of the PNP. The Foundation also donated 15 PTT trash bins to Malawaan Park in Subic Bay Freeport Zone in collaboration with the Office of Vice Mayor Jong Cortez of Olongapo City. The donation was made following a social media post unproper disposal of garbage at Malawaan Park. Season of Hope promo winners share food, gifts PTT Philippines’ has documented the actual gift-giving and feeding program activities of five winners in the recent social media promo called “Season of Hope with PTT”. Winners were chosen based on the relevance of their plans to whom they wanted to share hope, light, and love during the Christmas season amidst the current pandemic situation. One of the winners, Malome Ladig chose to give grocery items and hygiene kits to Josefheim Foundation in Quezon City. Another winner, Ron John Cruz distributed some 200 food packs to his chosen beneficiary, the children of Body of Christ Church in Orani, Bataan. Three more winners spent their activities through feeding program and gift-giving as well.

FEBRUARY 2021 PTT has opened its newest station in the north, this time in Candon, Ilocos Sur. After the successful training and commissioning, Dealers Derrick and Grazielle Itchon formally opened the station with the support from Marketing, Training, and QSHE teams of PTT Philippines. The Itchons are now certified PTT Dealers and are excited about this new journey. Select Café Amazon stores opened the new year with Buy 1, Get 1 promo on Iced Chocolate and Iced Green Tea Latte that was followed by another Buy 1, Get 1 promo on Iced Coffee and Mixed Berry frappe. Participating stores include Café Amazon Cavite City, SM Center Lemery, Bravo Business Center and Bacoor. Café Amazon SM North EDSA, on the other hand, participated in the recent 3-day sale entitled “3-day Blowout!” in which customers got the chance to avail 50% discount on Mixed Berry Frappe.
