ISSN: 2449-4674 VOL. 5 NO. 9 Snapshots of PTT Philippines’ People & Events Precautionary measures on COVID-19 Management of PTT Philippines has issued some precautionary measures to all its employees amidst the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the country and in other parts of the world. PTT Philippines President & CEO Khun Thitiroj Rergsumran, through Corporate Support Director Paul Patricio Senador, directed all its employees to take extra measures to prevent the spread and/or transmission of deadly virus among employees in company offices and facilities. Employees have been advised to postpone travel plans unless extremely necessary, and inform immediate supervisor or the Admin & Human Resources Department in the event that any member of the employee’s household has a history of international travel and/or is under self-quarantine. “A person who came from countries with travel ban should observe 14-day self-quarantine in room isolation. If room isolation is not possible, then an employee who stays in the same household is required by PTT Philippines Management to undergo 14-day self-quarantine. If an employee develops respiratory symptoms (cough, colds, and/or fever), he/she should inform Admin and HR Department and seek immediate medical care and present a medical clearance from a physician before and upon returning to work,” the management advisory stated. It also emphasized the proper hand and respiratory hygiene as well as staying away from company premises or stay at home if one is sick or displays respiratory symptoms (cough, colds, and/or fever).
