ISSN: 2449-4674 VOL. 5 NO. 6 Snapshots of PTT Philippines’ People & Events PTT adopts renewable energy in Ph After achieving the 45% savings and reduction in electric billing from the solar roof project at Restroom 20 of PTT SCTEX in 2018, PTT Philippines recently installed a 15kWp Solar Grid-Tie system on the rooftop of its Training Center facility in Quezon City as part of further integrating renewable energy projects to its retail operations that will result in less power sourced from the grid. A combined capacity of 150kWp Solar grid-tie systems is also planned to be installed to its nine retail gasoline stations and six Café Amazon stores. Work on the solar rooftop projects has started during the fourth quarter of this year and installations will continue until first quarter of 2020. The said projects are projected to improve the energy efficiency and reduce the utilization from the grid by at least 30-40% while enabling the export of its excess harvested solar energy via net-metering to the grid. 2 more stations opened in Cagayan PTT Philippines President & CEO Khun Thitiroj Rergsumran spearheaded the grand opening of two new PTT station in Tuguegarao City, Cagayan – the PTT Buntun and the PTT Carig. By end of the year, approximately 170 PTT stations are operational in the Philippines.

PTT Partners Party 2019 PTT Philippines has gathered anew all its dealers and other partners during the annual Partners Party held at the Grand Ballroom of the City of Dreams, Entertainment City Manila in Paranaque. The annual event serves as an opportunity for PTT and its partners to socialize and keep tab on each other’s activities on both business and non-business affairs. Highlight of the event was the address of PTT Philippines Corporation President & CEO Khun Thitiroj Rergsumran (right) who rallied for the continuing support of all its partners. Pinoy youth at ASEAN camp Student ambassadors from the Philippines pose for a posterity photo at the PTT headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand during their participation at the 2019 OR Seeding the Future ASEAN Camp. Held November 3-9, 2019, the ASEAN Camp was on its fifth year with the theme Digital Aspiration. Ten students were chosen this year to represent the Philippines, one of them was studying in Thailand. UA&P students’ study tour Industrial Engineering students from University of Asia and the Pacific has visited the PTT Philippines Training Center in Quezon City for a study tour for an in-depth knowledge on how we store and manage our supplies, and how we operate inside our depots in Subic. The study visit was part of the students Supply Chain subject. The activity was spearheaded by officers and staff from QSSHE, Loading Rack, Logistics and the Academy.
