I’m serching for ways to combine these styles to creat strong but beautiful work.I could never answer when people asked what I wanted to do in life, but I knew I had a passion for arts. CAFE WALL DECORATION DESIGN CONCEPTIn order to make a wall decoration painting for a coffee shop in Macau, I usetrend elements into the design to match the taste of young people. The cafe’starget customers are young people, so I created an abstract graphic design with the clip art elements to conform all of the requests.

STEAK RESTAURANT POSTER DESIGN CONCEPT I am always looking for a new way to make good design for people. I realizedthat a special design needs designer thinks differently (may be out of the bound- ary) first. So, for this project, I did not choose to use the food pictures as ele-ments to make the steak restaurant‘s poster design, because my project goal is to light up or draw people’s curiosity and imagination on my design logic, but not just to put the products on the poster.

CAFE WALL DECORATION DESIGN CONCEPT I designed this cafe wall decoration painting for a coffee shop in Macau in 2015, Unlike the other cafes, majority of this unique coffee shop’s products used goat milk as its selling point, so the theme and concept of the design were based on this key characteristic

CAFE WALL DECORATION PAINTING DESIGN I 2015 IN MACAU In order to make a warm style wall decoration painting with gray color theme, I designed a flock theme and connect it with a ‘classic car’ element to match with the warm interior design feel as requested. Sheep gave people a sense of warm.. GRAPHIC DESIGN 23
CHALKBOARD MURAL DESIGN CONCEPTIn order to make a simple and an easily correctable / modifiable / replaceable design for a furniture store, I have created a 66 inches X 133 inches size chalkboard mural by hand. Most of my inspiration came from graffiti culture I first designed the pattern in photoshop, then transferred various ideas (grafiti like with different fonts of characters blended into artistic feel) onto the wall.

POSTCARD DESIGN CONCEPT This Chinese typography series was initially designed for a letterpress postcard project tocelebrate the Chinese New Year. In order to make a different traditional postcard design, Icombined the Chinese traditional characters with modern graphic design elements togeth- er. For the color scheme, I have followed the meaning of all the Chinese words, such as I used cold color for the ‘Mount & Sea’ and warm color for the ‘Love & Peace’. All Chinese sayings were presented in playful graphics with various vibrant color combina- tion. Together with an antique printing technique on 100% cotton papers used, it created a rather contemporary style feeling.
