INTRODUCTION ◽ Shimla is the capital of himachal pradhesh. ◽ It is known as Queen of the Hills for its beauty. ◽ Seven Hills : Shimla is surrounded by Seven Hills , these hills offer a wide variety of trails to visitors to explore.

HERE IS THE DETAILS OF THOSE z SEVEN HILLS OF SHIMLA ▪ Jakhoo hill is the most loved one by the guest, needing peace and quietness from the city far beneath and it is the tallest hill among seven. The utmost astounding purpose of the city is Jakhoo hill Shimla thet is secured with Alpine trees. At the highest point of the vivid Jakhoo Temple is the recently built Hanuman statue. Elysium hill is a famous vacation destination arranged at a height of 7400 ft above ocean level. At prospect hill, guests can appreciate a fabulous perspective of the whole area that is so lovely and exceptionally uncommon. Summer hill is a pleasant spot on Shimla. Observatory hill is situated in the west end of Shimla. Inverarm hill, stronger slopes are passing by the extremely beautiful blossoms, trees, butterflies and birds. Bantony is in central Shimla. It is the slope that falls in the inside.

TREES FOUND IN SHIMLA z 1.THE HIMALAYAN CEDAR ▪️Scientific name: Ceres deodara ▪️Indian name: Deodar ▪️It grows in an altitude belt ranging from 6000ft to 9000ft.The Indian name for the tree is Deodar. Deo means god and Dar means a tree. In other words the celestial tree or the tree of the god.

z 2.THE SPRUCE ▪️Scientific name: Picha Smithiana ▪️Indian name: Rai ▪️It grows in an altitude belt ranging from 7500ft to 9500ft.The higher branches of the spouse tend to point upwards and the needles droop downwards.

z 3.THE SILVER FIR ▪️Scientific name : Picea Pindrow ▪️Indian name : Rau ▪️It grows in an altitude belt ranging from 8000ft to 10,000ft and owes it’s name to the bright whitish streak on either side of the mis rib on the under side of each needle.

z 4. THE ROXBURGHI PINE ▪️Scientific name : Pinus Roxburghi ▪️Indian name : Cheel ▪️It grows in an altitude belt ranging from 2000ft to 7000ft. This considered to have the longest pine needles found in any coniferous tree in the world. It has a heavy woody cone.

5. THE WHITE OAK z ▪️Scientific name : Quercus Incana ▪️Indian name : Ban ▪️The altitude belt it thrives in ranges from 6000ft to 8000ft.It is characterised by leaves that have a shiny white underside.

z 6.THE BLUE PINE ▪️Scientific name : Pinus wallichiana ▪️Indian name : kail ▪️It grows in an altitude strata extending from 5500 ft to 8500 ft. It derives its name from a thin blue stomata layer on each needle giving the tree a bush hue.

7.THE GREEN OAK z ▪️Scientific name:Quercus dilatada ▪️India name: Morl ▪️It grows higher than the white oak (8000ft to 9000 ft) it also known as the Mashobra oak. The leaves of this trees are green on both sides.

z 8.THE BROWN OAK ▪️Scientific name : Quercus semiscarpifolia ▪️Indian name : kharsu ▪️It grows in an altitude beltranging from 8500ft to 10000ft.It is characterised by the russet Brown. Colouration of the underside of each leaf. It is higher than the green oak.

z 9.THE RHODODENDRON ▪ Scientific name:Rhododendron arboreum ▪ Indian name:Brass ▪ It grows in an altitude belt ranging from 5000 ft to 8000 ft. This tree underlays the glory of the Himalayan string with its rich blaze of crimson and scarlet blossoms.

10.YEW z ▪️Scientific name: Taxus baccata ▪️Taxus baccata is a species of evergreen tree in the conifer family, native to western, central and southern Europe, northwest Africa, northern Iran and southwest Asia

FRUITS FOUND IN SHIMLA z 1.Apple ▪ Scientific name:Malus Domestica ▪ National fruit of Himachal pradesh. Apples are high in fibers, vitamin c and various antioxidants. The tree originated from Central Asia.

z 2.LITCHI ▪ Scientific name:Litchi chinensis ▪ A tall evergreen tree, the Litchi bears small fleshy fruit. The outside of the fruit is pink-red, roughly textured and inedible. China is the main producer of Litchi.

3.GUAVA z ▪ Scientific name:Psidium guajava ▪ It boost our immunity. Helps in better eyesight and keeping our heart healthy. Guava originated from Mexico, Central America.

z 4.CITRUS FIG ▪ Scientific name: Ficus Carica ▪ Figs are high in material sugars, minerals and soluble fibre. ▪ Rich in minerals ▪ Good source of antioxidant, vitamin A and K.

z 5.Papaya ▪ Scientific name : Carica Papaya ▪ With the amount of water and fiber content in the fruit it helps in digestion. ▪ Helps in weight loss, eyes health, kidney health etc. ▪ For healthy and glowing skin include papaya in our daily diet.

z 6.BER ▪ Scientific name : Ziziphus mauritiana ▪ Helps in improving blood circulation ▪ Good for our bones ▪ Helps to sleep better ▪ Also known as Indian jujube, Indian plum, Chinese date, Chinese apple.

z 7.GRAPES ▪ Scientific name : Vitis Vinifera ▪ Grapes are a good source of potassium,mineral that helps balance fluid in our body. ▪ Good for brain. ▪ Most domesticated grapes come from Vitis vinifera
