TOP SOCIAL MEDIA STORY – ALBERT BELL At 94 years of age, Albert Bell is a regular at the Royal Oak in Chingford, and a WWII veteran. 15 years ago Albert painted a picture of the Royal Oak which can still be admired in the pub today. Nicola Mansfield, Assistant Manager to the Jolly Farmers shared his story on Facebook and said: “It was just a pleasure to meet him and his sister Joyce who both love visiting their local for a pint.” Albert and Joyce lived next door to the Royal for over 50 years and still use the pub for their get togethers. This family is the true meaning of belonging to a community, celebrating the great British institution, the pub. Cheers!MARKETING — www.mcmullens.co.uk 18 - 19
