TAIF is a Saudi city located in the west of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, belonging to the Makkah Al- Mukarramah region, on both sides of Waj Valley, and it is approximately 75 km away from the holy city of Makkah Al- Mukarramah. Nice and an old summer resort for the people and nearby cities such as Makkah Al-Mukarramah and Jeddah. The location has given it several advantages as it is considered the eastern gate of the Two Holy Mosques through Makkah Al-Mukarramah, as it is the meeting point of roads connected to all regions of the Kingdom through other regions and cities. 02

01 PROJECT INFORMATION PROJECT ACTIVITY:  It is about developing and renovating the facilities and spaces of Taif International Airport to be in line with recent developments and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in developing the tourism sector in general and the aviation sector in particular. THE REASON FOR CHOOSING IT: - Airports are one of the places that require special attention during interior designs, as they play an important role in improving the internal environment of spaces, which is reflected either negatively or positively on users. PROJECT ACTIVITY:  It is about developing and renovating the facilities and spaces of Taif International Airport to be in line with recent developments and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 in developing the tourism sector in general and the aviation sector in particular. 01

The airportis located on a flat land surrounded by agricultural lands, the land has a large area to help facilitate the movement and landing of aircraft and provide sufficient spaces for parking. The airport site is connected to a main road (Makkah Road). the reason for choosing the site; It is located on a line connecting Makkah Al-Mukarramah, which is the first religious tourist destination in the Kingdom. Curved and arched lines were mainly relied upon in the distribution of spaces in the horizontal plan, while avoiding sharp angles, and curved lines inspired by a butterfly wing were used in the wooden arches above the ceiling of the waiting hall.creens. 15
