Also present at the inauguration, among other revered names, were Shri Dharmendra Pradhan (Hon’ble Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) Petroleum & Natural Gas); Dr Damodar Rout (Hon’ble Minister for Co-operation and Excise, Govt of Odisha and MLA, Paradip); and Dr Kulamani Samal (Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Jagatsinghpur). As part of Paradip Refinery Project, IndianOil has set up the oil jetty at a cost of Rs 811 Crores. The jetty has been established with associated facilities at Paradip Port Trust, and features a single berth that will be used to load products and unload crude oil. One crude pipeline, eight product pipelines (motor spirit, high speed diesel, naphtha, dual purpose kerosene, propylene and Propylene vapour) and three utilities pipelines have also been laid from South Oil Jetty to IOCL Paradip Refinery. Two unloading arms (for crude) and eight loading arms (for products) have also been installed at the jetty top. IndianOil hopes the jetty will increase its capabilities and therefore its success, and offer the company more opportunities by extending its national and international reach. n ZZZ LQGXVRDJ FRP ISSUE 07 | 2015 INDUSTRIOUS OIL AND GAS 101 IndianOil.indd 7 28/09/2015 07:54
