Fred E. SchuchmanHusband, Father, GrandfatherFred passed away at home on August 8th at1:30 A.M.He was born in the small town of Centralia,Illinois in 1942. Fred was a hardworking manand held jobs spanning over 60 years. The last25 years before retirement, Fred owned andoperated a successful truck tire service, whichfocused on mobile service and tire sales in thetrucking industry.Fred enjoyed golfing, light travel and most of allbeing with his family. Fred loved the warmthand love around Christmas and could hardlywait for everyone to open the gifts he gavethem. Fred faithfully provided for his familyand his devotion and love will be forevermissed.Fred is survived by his wife, Jennifer of 39years, his son Ryan, daughters, Becky, Sharon,Mary, and Megan. He is also survived by hisbrothers Norman and Jack Schuchman andsister Norma Foutch. Fred is also survived by 13granchildren: Desiree Cabral,Thomas Orapeza, Samantha Schuchman,Veronica Schuchman, Matthew Jacobs, MichaelJacobs, Benjamin Webb, Kristyl Webb,Frederick Webb, Walter Darnell, TerranceDarnell, Shellie Darnell, Sharon Darnell.*******************************************************Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m freeI’m following the path God has laid you see.I took His hand when I heard him callI turned my back and left it all.I could not stay another dayTo laugh, to love, to work, to play.Tasks left undone must stay that wayI found that peace at the close of day.If my parting has left a voidThen fill it with remembered joy.A friendship shared, a laugh, a kissOh yes, these things I too will miss.Be not burdened with times of sorrowI wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.My life’s been full, I savored muchGood friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.Perhaps my time seemed all too briefDon’t lengthen it now with undue grief.Lift up your hearts and peace to theeGod wanted me now; He set me free.
