CeleAbration of Life Donnell Pate April 7th, 1972 - January 17th, 2019

Donnell \"D\" Pate Husband, Father, Family Man On Thursday, January 17, 2019, Donnell (“D”/“Dolemite”) Pate; Husband, Father, Uncle Daddy, Son, Son-in-Law, Brother, Nephew and Cousin, passed away at the age of 46 at Hackensack University Medical Center. Donnell will forever be remembered and missed by his wife and best friend, Erica, their loving daughter Nikita, who affectionately calls him “Papa Bear”, Godson Jayden, who lovingly calls him “Uncle Daddy” and bonus son, Steven Matthews. Donnell will also be missed by his parents, Dorothy Richardson (nee Donaldson) and Herman Pate. Donnell will be lovingly remembered by his parents-in-law, Anita Costello and Zavier Mauldin. Donnell is a loving supportive brother to his sisters; Tyra & Danielle Pate and Kendra Richardson. A host of family and longtime friends will fondly remember Donnell. During this time, we ask that you remember his smile, sense of humor and entertaining commentaries. Whoever D \"IS\" to you still remains, with a personality larger then life, eyes brighter then the sun and a smile that lights up the room .will never be a \"was\".
