Carol L LucasCarol L. Lucas, of Hartford, was called home August 13, 2018 surrounded by her loving family at Hartford Hospital. She was a candid, hard- working, free spirit who brought joy and laughter to all those around her. No matter where she went, Carol made sure to be dressed in her finest fashions. She enjoyed shopping, traveling, and spending time with her family. Her favorite color was red, which represents the strength she kept no matter what obstacles were in her way. Although she was born in Hartford, Carol resided in Charlotte, North Carolina for over 20 years. She is survived by her four children; Cindy Mack, Todd Mack, CharisseMack, and Terrance Mack. Ten grandchildren, Takarra Mack, Davon Gill,Morgan Gill Jr, Heather Womack, Anthony Mack, Brittney Mack, Thomas Mack, Shaquana Mack, Kamari Mack, and Jaheim Mack. Five great- grandchildren, Zyaire Oliver, Egypt Oliver, Janiyah Gill, Kavon Gill, and Giselle Mack. Two brothers, Daniel Lowe, and Marlon Carter. Two sisterin-laws, Yvonne Lowe, and Clara Carter. Five special nieces, Kwan Carter, Kazy Carter, Kimshashia Ledbetter, Keishana Lowe, Keisha Carter, and Nicky. Five great-nieces, Elexis Ledbetter, Tomia Carter, EnnovyLedbetter, Erin Ledbetter, and Ciara'Lee. Eight great-nephews, Jermaine,Vernon Carter, Kylon Carter, Tamaiya, Josiah, Keijuan, Akanni, and Blake.God daughter, Courtney, and her best friend \"Miss Diva\", from Charlotte, North Carolina. Carol was predeceased by her mother Alberta Carter, and her fatherThomas Carter. Her first husband Hollis Mack, and second Dewey Lucas. Her sister, Lori Carter. Her nephew, Tamia Lowe. We love you Carol, your finally at peace, and you will be truly missed.
