ABOUT US We‘ve been asked - “Why do you work with leather?“ - And the answer was right there... There is no material more epic, more elemental in outerwear. It has been used ever since mankind began to dress themselves. Leather is a material grown by nature itself. It is not woven threads put together by anyone‘s design and fashion. It challenges you because it doesn‘t come in rolls, can‘t be produced by the yard. But that is part of it‘s fascination. Leather is always it‘s own master. If you learn about it, you can manipulate it into becom- ing soft. Refine it until it‘s smooth. Develop it until it can do things you never thought possible. But you can never break it‘s personality. And once you understand it, you can coax into a texture so sublime, so intriguing that you can‘t wait to have it put into design, create a style, and finally see it worn by someone. We‘ve been doing it for so long, it became our second nature. And when someone tells us “I got so many compliments wearing that piece“ - that‘s when our world is put in order.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION A Great Story — The pandemic has given us a renewed sense of perspective on fashion’s relentless pace, its voracious desire for newness, and the pressures this placed on people and the planet, it has reinforced that most basic tenet: at its best, fashion can decorate your day, inspiring and edifying in equal measure. Despite the countless “lockdown looks” posted on social media, which was the only fashion platform the entire year, We at Cigno Nero never underestimated the power of a great fashion story to lift spirits— our AW21-22 collection is a great story—From outrageously flamboyant hand painted texts on jackets to powerful volumes on the shoulders to ro- mantic frills on sleeves to beautiful asymmetrical and pleat- ed skirts to gorgeously empowering pant styles to cropped sassy jackets and many comfortable cosy statement pieces curated along with all-eyes-on me gold, silver & gunmetal accessories, in beautiful textured leather and some nice soft sheen chic qualities, the tale of our AW21-22 collection may be best summed up with as “all dressed up with nowhere to go”: we went all heart and all fashion this season! The color palette of the collection is a game changer to the usual Autumn/Winter facade of dark deep tones, we went for ashy blue, pine green, maroon red, two-toned grey, our staple color snow, playful peach, the not-so-basic brown and to our surprise black! Trust us— black is most certainly back this season! Nothing says “she’s arrived” quite like our AW21-22 collec- tion! Reese x Rhubarb The color of Rhubarb was named after a veg- etable known for its reddish stalks and sour taste. It has a distinctive red shade of color. Rhubarb is often associated with higher class society. It’s rich hue and red shade are interpreted as signifying sophistication. Rhubarb can be viewed as a color indicating power and this factor compliments the overall mood of the style: Reese. This sporty dress has the potential to become one’s favorite piece of garment this season. This new arrival is infused with versatile performance, made to be as strong as the woman who wears it. The combination of it’s psychological seriousness and powerful energy give it a sense of high ambition.

The style Dona in the color luggage is an experience on its own. The color of Luggage brings to mind feelings of warmth, comfort, and security. Pheme x Griffin The fall season is knocking at our door, and we can’t be any more excited - for it is time to bring out our Pheme dress and wear it in style. Dresses are not most people’s garment of choice during the winter, and for totally understandable reasons. Mini dresses have been a wardrobe staple for all girls & women. Other than normal and boring clothes, one should have a few interesting ones to spice up their wardrobe. Dresses with high and exciting hemlines evoke a style on their own and add drama, flair, and polish to any wardrobe. Yes, they are bold and risky during this season but they can always be paired with knee-lenth boots and boot socks to keep one warm. Great pieces are all about the details. It’s these details that we have in mind as we prep our autumn/winter collection, and one that we’re especially fond of right now is slit sleeves. Slit-sleeve dresses are among pieces that always look fresh and elevated, regardless of when one has them in rotation. Griffin is a lighter and more subtle shade of grey which represents neutrality and balance. Lighter tones of grey are more feminine in nature and is apt for a great style like Pheme!
