Our Statement of Faith THE BIBLE THE TRINITY We believe that the bible consists of 66 books, comprising of the Old and New Testament. It is the inspired Word of God, and no person/s may add or subtract there from. THE CHURCH We believe that the Godhead eternally exists in three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We also believe that these three are one God, the same in essence, equal MANKIND in power and glory (Matt. 28:19; 2 Cor. 13:14). We believe that Jesus Christ established the Church on this earth. We further believe that THE SAVIOUR the Church consists only of those persons who have been regenerated by the Holy Spirit and made a new creation in Christ Jesus (Matt. 16:18; John 3:5-7; 2 Cor. 5:17). THE We believe that Adam was created after the Divine image of God, sinless and his kind MEDIATOR was perfect. We believe that Adam disobeyed the Divine command and by so doing, he THE GIFTS fell from his state of innocence and purity and this involved all his posterity as a consequence of the fall (Gen. 1:26; 2:16-17; 3:6-8, Rom. 3:10). We therefore believe that THE HEALER all men and women since Adam are born in sin and that it is incurable by human means. We further believe that only through faith in the saviour Jesus Christ can mankind be THE saved from hell and eternal damnation (Gen. 3:15, Rom. 5:12-18, Phil. 3:9, Gal. 2:16). MINISTRY THE FRUITS We believe in the virgin birth of Christ We further believe that He is Lord and the ONLY Saviour of mankind's soul, according to Holy Scripture (Matt. 1:23, Rom. 1:2, Gal. 4:4, THE Heb. 1). BAPTISER THE FUTURE We believe that there is only one God and mediator between God and Man, the Man, STATE Christ Jesus (1 Tim. 2:5). SATAN We believe that the Church should claim and manifest the gifts of the Spirit as taught in the Bible. We also believe that the Lord Christ has not rescinded these gifts and that they THE will remain with the Church with HIS second coming (1 Cor. 12-14). PRIESTHOOD THE We believe the Lord Jesus Christ has the power to heal divinely today. We acknowledge ORDINANCES the right of an individual to seek and obtain, if required, medical attention, which includes blood transfusions, in keeping with scriptural moral principles and those, recognised by THE COMING the medical profession. KING We believe that God has given His Church, ministries for the building up of the faith as those found in the Bible. We also believe that these ministries will remain with the Church until HIS second coming. (1 Cor. 12:28) We believe that everyone who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ as their saviour, should produce fruits of the Spirit as taught in Gal. 5:22-26. We further believe that a Holy life will be the necessary effect of true faith and that good works are certain fruits of a vital union to Christ. (Eph. 4:24; Rom. 6:10-11) We believe that the Lord Jesus in the only Baptiser in the Holy Spirit. We further believe in the laying on of hands for the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, but this baptism is from God and not from man. We believe that all true believers go to heaven, and that eternal punishment awaits those who reject Christ (Luke 23:24, Phil. 1:23, 2 Cor. 5: 8, 1 Thess. 4:14) We believe that there is a person called Lucifer who is known as the devil. He seeks worship for himself and his avowed intention is the deception and destruction of mankind. He is the accuser of the brethren and though he is powerful, he is not omnipresent. He has at his command hosts of demons, who along with himself, will be cast into hell after the final judgement. We believe in the priesthood of all believers and that all believers have equal and direct access to the throne of God. We believe in the partaking of bread and wine in memory of the Lord's death as atonement for our sins. We believe in baptism by immersion in water for believers. We believe in the laying on of hands. We believe in the anointing of oil. We also believe in the washing of feet of fellow believers, in keeping with the New Testament symbolism of humility and service. (John 13:12-17). We further attest that although these ordinances are important as a means of obtaining grace, they cannot of themselves give salvation, which is only obtained by real faith in Christ Jesus. We believe in the second and personal coming of the Lord Jesus Christ as taught in the Holy Scriptures.
