Dr. (Mrs.) T. Sudha academic Director Mrs. Jyothi Turaga Education plays the primary role in the future growth of a country. Learning at an institution or workplace helps the people to grow mentally as well as economically. Better education at an individual level opens the door to unlimited possibilities and success for that person as well as for the nation as a whole. It is rightly said that ‘Smart is not what you are, Smart is what you work to become’. It is also important to urge students to take up challenging tasks related to academics to enhance their power of thinking and analysing. principal “Children must be taught how to think, not what to think”. The true essence of a school lies in the happy faces of children who come running into provides. To many of my kids Sunday is not welcomed as the opportunity to go to school is curtailed. As these students jive to the jingles in the morning or spend their time in the science labs peering through the microscopes for worlds unknown, knowledge seeking itself becomes an exciting task. The quiz corners in school and the ‘learning corridors’ are some more vistas which open students to more learning. The common endeavour is to make learning more exciting, more fun and more self-driven and in the process make it more enjoyable for my “little wonders”. 6

our philosophy Delhi Public School believes that humanity stands today at the head of a large synthesis of knowledge. Education system in the school should respond to the changing scenario and global perspectives. Everything in the school from building design, size, shape, alignment of class rooms are ergonomic matching the modern day standards. The school aims to make all students stand up to what is morally right and thus bring about a positive transformation in the self. It is the social obligation of our institution to provide the learning environment for a responsible social being of tomorrow. 7
