PARENT'S NOTE Back in 2015, I was skeptical to join my daughter in Al Saad Indian school. School is not a mere medium that imparts knowledge to young buds, shapes the buds to blossom to establish a healthy soceity. Very soon, I realised that I made most effective decision for my child. As years pass by I see the school nurtuting my daughter into good humanbeing. The school has got best faculty who work with compassion and empathy. Collaraborating with parents during this pandemic, the teachers have adequtely adapted to the new online teaching platforms. Open house sessions revealed the patience of teachers and their disciplined approach in personification of my child into better citizen. I fall short of words to apprceciate Mr. Sahaya Jeans, the Head of the Primary English Department, class teacher and mentor of my child. He is one of the best English teacher I have come across. My daughter is
fortunate to have him as class teacher for two years now. Of all traits of good teacher, the one I would like to highlight is fairness. Regional bias has been experienced by PARENT'Smany children in schools day today, but at ASIS I never felt it. Thanks to the teachers for creating congenial atmosphere NOTEthat all the wards have equal oppurtunity. With all the good experience, I never thought twice to put my second daughter Yaami Chowdhary in ASIS. She had excellent teachers in kindergarden. Her journey with Mrs. Shilpa Babbar through her KG1 and KG2 had given necessary kickstart required for the Grades. Currently she is guided by Mrs. Priyanka Jawarala, whose compassionate efforts are taking Yaami to next level. Special thanks to affable Miss.Anupriya. Finally, special thanks to management including principal Mrs. Gupta , School Director Mrs. Divya Ramachandran. You have putin so much effort for us during these hard times. The school has been off but the learning hasn't at all. Thank you so much for being so thoughtful and making the things easy for the parents. With regards Dr. Sudhakar Babu Buma. F/o Shikha chowdhary Grade 5A F/o Yaami ChowdharyGrade 1D
NATURE’S BLISS Each and every flower, Is the earth’s power. Each and every tree, Has a home for a bee. Under the sea lies the coral reef. And on the land is the tree leaf. The sun gives us the light, Which makes the earth bright. As the petals of the rose gloves, And the cold breeze blows. The scent of the nature also flows, Pellets of rain, Is the nature’s precious gain. Nature is the world’s beat. - Ms. Hansikaa

I HAVE A DREAM That I can be a doctor for a change, That I will find ways to cure disease, Oh! I have a dream! That all children will grow up healthy, That grown ups can take care of the earth, Oh! I have a dream! That people can learn to stop fighting, That people will start taking care of each other, Oh! I have a dream…! Ms. Rakshanaa
If I Could Fly I believe I could fly Like those birds in the sky. And when I rest, I see a bird’s nest. Hoping to fly like them, When I fly, I wished to see the ocean’s tide. And as the cool and swift wind gives a blow, The sun goes low. How happy I could be if I could fly? -Aysha
The Golden Rose Above the clouds, there was a magnificent kingdom. The Beautiful angel Arora was princess. The entire kingdom was proud that Arora was their princess as she was the most beautiful angel in all the land. But far away in the North on top of the mountains, there lived ‘The Witch of Death’. She was jealous of Arora’s beauty. But she also knew, in the royal garden grew a beautiful golden rose that could give her eternal youth. So, she flew to the castle on her black Pegasus. She reached the castle and entered the garden. After searching for hours, she found the golden rose. As she went towards the flowers she accidentally stepped on a large twig, “Crack!”. The guards were awakened by a loud noise. When the guards saw the black Pegasus, ‘Lunamoon’, they knew that the witch had come for the Golden Rose. They searched in the garden and found her. As they were about to attack her, the princess stood in front stopping them. Then she went to the flower and plucked and gave it to the witch. In astonishment, the witch asked, “Why did you give me the rose?” The princess softly replied, “I know you came looking for the rose and besides, if that’s what makes you happy, that’s what makes me happy too.” After listening to her loving words, a bright light shone within her heart, and she transformed into the ‘Angel of Youth’ and from that moment onwards everyone called her ‘Crystal Twilight’. - Aysha
Love Towards Nature One Tuesday morning, a school bus was driving on the road. It was 6:40 AM. It was the time when the first girl was going to be picked up. Her name was Ema. She was a girl who loved nature. When she entered the bus, there was no one inside, as if she could choose any seat in the bus. She sat on a corner seat as the bus was moving towards the next stop. She saw how viridescent trees swayed their hands and how the beautiful flowers smiled affectedly. When she was travelling, she saw many roundabouts too. The roundabouts were very beautiful. She opened the glass of the bus and smelled the fresh air. She was the first one in her class to reach school. As she was sitting in her classroom, thinking about her daily journey to school, she wondered how beautiful the nature was. Finally, she decided to save the nature for better future. Ms. Ameera
Piper And The Berries Once there lived a girl named Piper. She was a very kind girl. She always shared her food with her neighbours and was always ready to help them. But her stepsister Emily didn’t like that. She never liked her sister becoming so famous in the city. One day, when Piper was walking in the midst of the forest, she was a witch who appeared in front of her. The witch said, “You are a kind girl. I like the way you help others. So, I am going to give you some berries which will make strong.” The witch gave three berries to Piper. Piper ate the first one. She became gorgeous and had magical powers. When she went home, Emily asked, “How did you become so pretty?” Piper said, “These berries made me pretty.” Emily got jealous of Piper and wanted to become like her. So, she snatched the rest of the berries from Piper’s hands and ate them at once. Shockingly, instead of becoming a pretty girl, Emily turned into a frog. Moral: Jealousy will never make you higher than others.
My Memorable Vacation I went on a vacation to Abu Dhabi. There on the second day itself, I went to the Abu Dhabi beach. I was making a sandcastle and wanted to get some water to make a pool on the ground but when I returned, I found my sandcastle being ruined by my sister. I got furious and got grumpy until my mother told me to go into the water. As I went in, in a snap, I felt happier than any other person in the beach. When I came out, I smelt the ocean breeze which was divine. I cloud see the beautiful sunset. Later, I was sitting on a bench staring at the sun set, wondering when I will come back again! Suddenly, I was called for my favourite treat which is a vanilla ice cream. Finally, the day at the beach had come to an end. I saw the birds flying to their nest. On the way back home, I was smiling so brightly. - Shikha
My Favourite Dessert My favourite dessert is Ice-cream. Many children love ice-cream just like me. Ice cream is a cold dessert and goes well with milkshakes and fruit salad. Mostly ice-cream is a diary product. Ice-creams are available in different colours such as pink, green, white, yellow etc. The dollop of ice-cream looks like tiny clouds. The look of the ice-cream is mouth-watering. It is an enjoyable treat to have ice-creams on hot summer days in a cone cup or basket. Ice-creams are delicious and are available in different flavours like strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, pistachio, mango etc. When I have a scoop of ice-cream, it feels like a soft cloud melting in my mouth. The smell of ice-cream is quite appetizing. The air smells sweet when you enter an ice-cream shop. Just like the flowers, they have different smells like strawberry, mango etc. I eat ice-creams whenever I feel hot. They cool me down and I start everything with a fresh mind. Even though it is a delight to have ice- creams, it is not good for our health. Sometimes it causes brain freeze. So, it is advisable to have it in a limited quantity. - Hansikaa
My Favourite Dessert My Favourite dessert is ice-cream. I like to eat it in summer season. Ice-cream is available in different flavours such as vanilla, strawberry, chocolate etc. My all-time favourite is strawberry. It’s baby pink in colour. There are many small pieces of strawberry in it. It’s a cold and yummy dessert. Mostly I like to make fruit salad with ice-creams. In this way, we can make it healthy to consume. It is very good dessert to be eaten in summer. As it is very hot outside, it will give us a cool feeling. I love strawberry ice-cream because my favourite fruit is strawberry and it’s available everywhere. Whenever you think of eating ice-cream, you can go to the nearby super-market and buy your favourite ice-cream easily. We can easily make it at home as well. Now ice-cream granule is available in different flavours in markets. During summer, whenever we go for outing, my family and I would enjoy eating ice-creams. My mother would add ice-cream to milkshake to make it tastier. But consuming too much ice-cream is not good for health. - Nakshathra
