“A man's story It is with immense honor and privilege to be serving is worth telling the Masonic Community of District RXI-Davao del Norte, only if the truth Davao de Oro and Davao Oriental from West to East as your he discovers is District Deputy Grand Master (DDGM) for this Masonic greater than the Year 2021-2022. Indeed, the experiences I’ve had were quiet challenging and at the same time very meaningful pain that led considering of our limited movement and undertakings due him to seek it.” to the existing onslaught of COVID-19 pandemic in our — Alan Cohen respective Provinces. I was also challenged by the process of relaying information, conducting meetings, lectures, webinars and conventions because all of these were being held virtually, thus making it hard for me to explecitly adopt with the digital transformations under the new normal condition. On top of this, in pursuit of our strong charitable commitment, humility, and dedication that we ought to offer to our Divine Great Architect of the Universe (GAOTU), the Love for humanitarian service have greatly prevailed and influenced in each others Brethrens’ Lodges. In fact, I have seen how we elevated our spirit and fortified our steps as we carry and pursue our masonic goals and objectives. We have strive persevingly to enhance and strenghten our Masonic Brotherhood towards achieving the greater good amidst the threats of Covid-19. I can’t believe it’s already been a wonderful tenurial end of leading the district with a multitude of great brethren from all walks of life, and as astonished as I thought my life was very honored when we crossed-paths especially in various district activities and fellowships. It was also a great privileged to gain such fond memories with you all that are worth to keep like from sharing of thoughts and ideas which enlightens our hearts and minds, broaden our understanding and compassion to one another. Brethren, allow me to express my profound gratitude and unequivocal emotional feeling for your brotherly love, unsolicited support, dynamism, and exemplary leadership tendered althroughout my term. Not surprisingly, we have accomplished so many things beyond what we have planned and discussed. The depth with which we love and enjoy in our Fraternal Brotherhood is nothing short of inspiring. Let us continue to serve our fellowmen more importantly those that are in distress, in need, underprivileged, sick, deprived of liberty, hungry and among others for the general welfare. I’ll always believe that we have a heart that is really massive, compassionate and genuine. Seemingly, this 2021-2022 District Activity Report is just simple, humble and concise. This simply illustrated and summarizes our shared efforts that we value and transpire on our masonic mission of making good men better along with our philanthropic principles. Hence, our masonic efforts in this most trying times will never be in despair nor go unnoticed. 3
I thank the Supreme Architect for giving me the strength and courage to perform effectively and efficiently the sworn duties and responsibilities of being your DDGM and for making this journey special to me. I really owe all these to Him. Remember this my worthy Brethren, we are such an absolute blessing especially to your family and loved ones and to anybody else’s life. No amount of words can truly describe how grateful I was for giving me the opportunity that once in my life I get to know someone like you even in a very short and simple ways since I became a Mason up to becoming DDGM. Perhaps, we might be a time pass in each others life but it is with hoped that we shall be a heartbeat away to help and support all of our undertakings for the next masonic year and to all incoming district officers. Let us also continue to show warm support for our Incoming Most Worshipful Grand Master and the rest of the Grand Lodge Officers of the Grand Lodge of the Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines. Rest assured that all your masonic efforts in line with extending our cable tow will never be in vain nor become nugatory. Now I’m left with Prayers to GAOTU that He will grant the greatest desires in our life, and I also pray for the good health and long life for every brethren. Daghang Salamat! VW BRO. EDGAR C.
