SP – Sir, ADB rider benefits will cost you only ₹ 8,200 p.a. which you have to pay only for 15 years for a protection cover till age 85 Y. C – What if nothing of such sort happens to me? I want an annual income of ₹ 5 Lakh to be paid to my parents in case something happens to me. SP – Sir, ADB rider with Partner Care option will cost you only ₹ 5,190 p.a. for a 15 year PPT. Your wife being the nominee in term plan is entitled to receive the Sum Assured whereas your parents will be able to earn their living with the rider income. C – Premium is reasonable. SP – Sir, during our conversation we talked about the Covid 19 pandemic and how it has affected people mentally, physically, and financially. This type of situation can occur in the future also and we need to be financially prepared to tackle it. C – You are right. SP – May I propose our HospiCare Benefit rider which will reimburse the expenses incurred during hospitalization due to any cause as a fixed payout. C – Ok. Please tell. Will my rider premium also be returned like in FGP? SP – Yes Sir. HCB Rider with ROP will ensure the return of premium in case the benefits remain unutilized or under utilized during the policy term. Let me explain this with an example. Suppose you take HCB rider SA of ₹ 10 Lakh for which you will pay ₹ 12,980 p.a. for 12 years. During the 12 year policy term, you get hospitalized for 4 continuous days. The benefit that you will get will be: ✓ ₹ 20,000 as Hospital Cas which is 0.5% of Insured Amount per day of Hospitalization. At the end of 12 year policy term, you will get ₹ 1,35,760 as the balance return of premium since the benefit availed by you is less than the total premiums paid. Other benefits of this rider include: ✓ Additional 0.5% of Insured amount for each day in ICU stay. ✓ One Time Recuperation Benefit: 1.5% of Insured Amount paid on continuous 7 days of Hospitalization. All this amount will be paid as a lump sum irrespective of the amount in medical bills. C – Sounds good. SP – Sir, given the rising health cost, HCB rider with ROP must be attached to cover the benefits 28 not included in the base plan. There will be no need to buy a separate policy.
