He l ooked ar ound, but all he coul d see wer e trees. Ner vousl y, he f el t int o hi s bag f or hi s f avori t e t oy, stitch, but stitch was no wher e t o be f ound! began t o pani c. He f el t sur e he had packed stitch. To make matt ers wor se, he was st arti ng t o f eel hungr y. Unexpect edl y, he sa w a cl ever f ox dressed i n a pur pl e coat di sappeari ng i nt o t he trees. \" Ho w odd! \" t hought. Looki ng at t he houses di d not hi ng t o ease hi s hunger. \" Hell o! \" he call ed. \"Is anybody t here?\" Nobody repli ed. Looked at t he roof on t he cl osest house and wondered if it woul d be r ude t o eat some body el se' s chi mney.
