Sheva is the Early Learning Framework from the Jewish Community CenterAssociation of North America (JCCA). It outlines a dynamic vision of excellence in Jewish early childhood education. JCCA designated the JCC of Central NJ’s Brody Family Early Learning Center a Sheva Cornerstone School, which recognizes our school for being an innovator, modeling Jewish principles and values and integrating excellent education practices. Discover CATCH (Coordinated Approach to Children’s Health), the child wellness initiative from the JCCA, focuses on developing healthy activity and nutritional habits in very young children. The Early Learning teaching staff is trained in anduses Discover Catch as part of our physical education. We guide children throughexercise, developing locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative skills in a series of age-appropriate, non-competitive activities. The Brody Family Learning Center is accredited by the National Association forthe Education of Young Children.
