NECHA BULLETIN NORTH EASTERN COMMUNITY HEALTH ASSOCIATION (NECHA) BHOLA BABA PATH, HOUSE NO. 2, SIX MILE, GUWAHATI - 781022, ASSAM VOL - I. NO.V SEPTEMBER, 2020 CURATIVE HEALTH Director's messEGE PREVENTIVE HEALTH PROMOTION OF HEALTH From time immemorial it is the cultural and social custom of the people in the North East to lead a village or community centred life against family centred life. The village belongs to everyone and each one contribute Voluntarily to the needs and welfare of the village. Nobody expected a remuneration for the voluntary service. The virtue of VOLUNTARISM is in the blood of the people of N.E.I. The modern economic approach changed 'Voluntarism\" and voluntary services to money oriented services. People were more healthy and happy in the system of voluntary services. At present money minded services make people selfish, unhealthy, greedy for money, no more voluntary service in the village centred life. Now is the time to enable the people to go back to the \"virtue of Voluntarism\" which was their valuable culture, Community Health and Community Organising model of Health approach will create voluntary leadership and leaders in the villages. NORTH EASTERN COMMUNITY HEALTH ASSOCIATION (NECHA) is involved in assisting the Dioceses, Parishes and villages through Community Health and Community Organising programmes. The recharging of the Parishes and villages with some amount of voluntarism will make the people more happy and more healthy. PLEASE TAP HERE TO TURN
