LEADERS & 10

CHAMPIONS OF OUR CORE VALUES 11

Nigel Campbell Chief Financial Officer At its core, Integrity speaks to being honest and having a strong moral code. Doing the right thing simply because it is the right thing to do. It is a critical attribute of a company that is as important as ours to the nation and something we will be known for as we contribute to the national landscape. INTEGRITY CHAMPIONS 12

Mawali Roberts Chief Audit Executive The need for Integrity is extremely important in an environment where there are so many accessible short-cuts. To me Integrity is an intrinsic force which compels us to do the right thing all the time...it starts in our personal lives! This force encourages us to be trustworthy, reliable, and decent in our dealings with others. Integrity is expected from our Employees, our Leaders, our Board Members and those with whom we do business. We must understand this Value, consistently display this Value and hold each other accountable as we are all leaders in Integrity. 13

INTEGRITY We deliver on our promises, treating each other fairly, honestly and respectfully, fostering relationships of trust with the broader society and community. 14

As a Heritage employee, I WILL: Act in a fair and ethical manner towards others. Treat everyone equally with fairness, honesty, and respect all the time. Refrain from behaviour or language that is exclusionary or offensive in nature. Focus on organizational success rather than personal gain. Follow through consistently on promises and commitments made to others. Present facts and circumstances transparently, no matter how difficult the facts may be. Guard confidential and sensitive information, passing it on only to those that need to know. Maintain ethical principles even in the most challenging circumstances. Encourage team members to come forward when they observe ethical lapses. Avoid and declare any conflict of interest in conducting company business. Adhere to the Company’s Code of Conduct. 15

NIMBLE CHAMPION 16

Derek Lall Land Leader Being Nimble in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons is one of our core values. We are innovative, technology driven and proactive in decision making; quickly adapting and responding to change in a safe & efficient manner. 17

N NIMBLE We respond quickly whilst adapting in order to work effectively in ambiguous or changing situations, and with diverse individuals and groups. 18

As a Heritage employee, I WILL: Support major changes that challenge traditional ways of operating. Anticipate change in order to adapt my own plans and priorities. Respond quickly to shifting opportunities and risks. Adjust broad/macro organizational strategies, directions, priorities, structures and processes to changing needs in the environment. Adapt behaviour to perform effectively amidst continuous change, ambiguity and at times, apparent chaos. 19

SAFETY CHAMPION 20

Arlene Chow Chief Executive Officer At Heritage, Safety is a choice each of us makes every day. Our commitment is to ensure that our employees return home to their loved ones just as they came to work. Safety is good business. 21

S SAFETY We commit to managing our business and communities in a safe and environmentally responsible manner in accordance with statutory requirements. 22

Continually develop the safety and risk management skills of myself and my team and seek experts to assist. Adhere to all HSSE requirements and contribute to safe compliant operations. Contribute to a more sustainable environment. 23

PERFORMANCE CHAMPION 24

Richard Burgess Offshore Central Leader There is a saying...to aim is not enough, you have to hit! Performance and delivery must become part of our DNA as we work to achieve our strategic targets. 25

P PERFORMANCE We have a commercial focus with a business mindset which promotes profitability and sustainability. We are committed to focusing our efforts on achieving high quality results consistent with the organization’s standards and aspirations. 26

As a Heritage employee, I WILL: Complete work assignments on time. Evaluate personal progress against standards. Adjust actions to meet and exceed expectations. Try new ways to get things done, while taking steps to reduce the risks. Set highly challenging, but attainable, goals for myself and/or organizational area. Help build a culture that encourages ideas for improving outcomes and containing costs. Assess myself/team/division against goals and KPIs and identify areas for improvement. 27

INNOVATION CHAMPION 28

Kerry Rampersad Midstream Leader Innovation means imagination and creativity, new ideas, thoughts, methods, as well as out of the box thinking. Innovation allows one the opportunity to find solutions, optimize, stabilize and meet new requirements as dynamics change and evolution occurs. 29

I INNOVATION We promote innovation that improves processes and results. Generating viable, new approaches and solutions and continuously seeking to create new possibilities. 30

As a Heritage employee, I WILL: Create new ideas, solutions or approaches to ongoing challenges. Support others in generating new and innovative approaches (e.g., by providing funding, building on new ideas, recognizing innovation). Encourage challenges to conventional approaches. Identify unique approaches to deal with situations for which no known precedent exists. 31

RESPECT CHAMPION 32

Corrine Brown Human Resources Leader Respect is earned. We earn the respect of others when we respect ourselves and respect them in return and when we behave in a particular way that is admired. It is easy to demonstrate Respect when the associated behaviours become our habits. Habits to the point where we do not have to think about it – we just do it! Respect is a choice...choose to be respectful to others! Treat others the way that you would like to be treated. 33

R RESPECT We recognise, value and leverage the unique perspectives, experiences and talents of every individual. We promote cross-cultural understanding, fairness and inclusion throughout the organization. 34

As a Heritage employee, I WILL: Value individual differences and invite participation while working with others. Support fair treatment and equal opportunity for all, regardless of differences. Recognize the uniqueness of individuals and the value they bring to the organization. Respect others’ preferences, opinions, and beliefs, which may be different from my own. Solicit input from team members that think differently from me. Reflect on my own behaviours to identify personal biases in dealing with individual differences. Adjust my own behaviours to adapt to diverse work teams and customer groups. Seek opportunities to learn about the unique characteristics and qualities of other individuals. Identify differences in how team members work and learn, incorporating such considerations in managing and developing them. Encourage team members to challenge the status quo that undermines diversity and inclusion at work. 35

Andre Hosein Senior Legal Counsel For me once you recognize and appreciate the importance of Excellence in any area of your life it serves as a driver to constantly seek to improve yourself and what you do. At Heritage we value our commitment to the pursuit of Excellence. EXCELLENCE CHAMPIONS 36

James Walker Business Development Leader What I like about the Excellence core value is that it really is a stretch for us and for me personally. To excel at something is to be exceptionally good and not just good. It means being the best, outshining, surpassing your competition or expectations. Scanning the global landscape of national oil companies, one could ask, how many are indeed the best at what they are doing? To be excellent means taking on a real, tough challenge both for Heritage and for me personally and I am excited by the challenge. 37

E EXCELLENCE We are values-driven, energizing and inspiring others to strive for the best and commit to common goals and purposes, creating a sense of self-efficacy, resilience and persistence. 38

As a Heritage employee, I WILL: Undertake tasks that go beyond the job's routine demands. Act on issues in own area of responsibility instead of waiting or hoping the problem will solve itself. Suggest ways to achieve better results or add value beyond the current situation. Seize opportunities to enhance organizational performance. Act on opportunities to improve organizational processes or outcomes. Persevere in seeking solutions to complex issues despite significant and ongoing obstacles. Create opportunities to undertake initiatives that will benefit the organization in the near or intermediate term. 39

CALL TO ACTION 40

We are all required to demonstrate these values as we perform our duties at Heritage Petroleum. We are expected to live these seven INSPIRE values and in turn, create a corporate culture reflective of them. It is, after all, how we do what we do that shapes culture. With this in mind, you are called to; Demonstrate strong moral principles. Be quick and agile. Always put safety first. Perpetuate a business mindset towards profitability and sustainability. Seek new ideas and methods to increase profitability. Demonstrate due regard for others. Be exceptional in all that we do. 41
