01 CHILDREN'SPOLYCLINIC AYAŞ,ANKARA Withinthescopeoftheproject,itwasrequestedtodesignachildren'spolyclinicin AyaşdistrictofAnkara.Emphasiswasplacedontheuseofhealingelementsinthedesign ofthehospital,whichisaplaceofrecovery.Itwasaimedtobenefitfromthepotentialof thenaturalenvironmentinwhichitislocatedandalsotodevelopanapproachforchildren. Thankstothestructureofthepolyclinicsurro design,accessbetweenlevelswasmadepos innergardenandworkshops,thehealingpro

rroundingtheinnergardenandtheroof possiblewithramps.Withthehelpofits ropertiesofthegameandnaturewereused.

Thelandscapeaspectwastakenintoaccountwhendesigningthetransportation axis.Takingtheslopedirectionintoconsideration,itwasaimedtomake transportationaseasyaspossible.Inaddition,inthelayoutoftheclinics,attention waspaidtotheviewdirectionandtheangleofincidenceofdaylight.



02 EDUCATIONCENTER ASSOS,ÇANAKKALE TheancentctyofAssos,whchhostedArstotle'sphlosophyschool, hasbeenanmportantcenterofphlosophyandeducatonthroughoutts 5000-yearhstory.Theam ofthsprojectstorevvetheeducatonal actvtesnAssosctytoday.Theprojectncludesclassrooms,dnnghall, admnstratveuntsandamult-purposehall. Oneofthemostimportan Theroadstothiscenter,whe theportwerere-planned.Th isfacilitatedandviewingterr usingtransparentmaterials,

tantfactorstobeconsideredintheprojectistheslope. heretraditionalphilosophymeetingswillbeheld,from Thankstoterracesandlecturetheaters,verticaltransportation erraceshavebeencreated.Inthedesignoftheamphitheater, ls,theinteriorispreventedfromstayinginthedark.





03 ANYWHERE!JUSTSOITISOUTOFTHESPACE! INSTALLATIONWORK/TSMD Inthisstudy,itisaimedtoreconsidertheconceptofspace,todiscoverthenew potentialsofourwayofexperiencingspace,theaspectswehavenotdiscoveredbefore bystrippingfromthefamiliarcodes.Inthiscontext,aninstallationproductandabook wereproducedbyusingmanywrittenandvisualsources.Inaddition,apaneland apresentationwereorganized.TheproductsproducedwereexhibitedattheTSMD ArchitectureCenterattheendoftheterm.

Whilereconsideringthespace,wesetoutfromPeter Zumthor'smemoryabouttheentrancetohisgrandmother's house.Inhismemory,hewasreferringtothememorable detailsthatmadeitspecial,suchastheweightofthe dooropening,itshandle,andthepatternsonit.Today, thedominanceofoursenseofsightcomparedtoour othersenseswhileacquiringorexperiencingknowledge, hasneverreachedthesedimensionsinhistorywiththe effectoftechnologicaldevelopments.Similarlyin architecture,mass-producedarchitecturalelements donotgiveusanyemotionotherthanvisuality. Architecturalspacesnolongergeneratememories likethoseofZumthor. Asanarchitecturalelement,wewantedtodiscussthedoorweusedozensoftimeseverydayinhomes,worksandschools, butwehavedifficultyremembering.Attheentranceoftheexhibitionarea,weplacedthedoorwedesignedbybringingtogether thedoorswefoundlefttobethrown.Withthehelpofthemicrophonewehidinthedoor,wegavethesoundsthatwouldcome outofthedoortovariouspartsoftheexhibitionthroughtheloudspeakerwehidintheexhibitionelements.Inthisway,weaimed tomakethevisitorshearthesoundofthedooraswell,whichtheyonlypaidattentiontothevisualaspectattheentranceofthe exhibition,attheplaceandmomenttheyneverexpected,andreconsiderthedoorwithotherfeatures. Wesetoutwithasimilarperspectiveinbook design.wewantedtopreparethecontentofthe bookinacyclicalratherthanlineardirection.Inthis way,eachtimeitwillbereadfromanewstarting pointandthereforeeachreadingwillbeadifferent experience.However,wehadtoconstructasystem forthecircularreadingofthebook,andweprovided itwiththewheelandchainthatweplacedina woodenbox.

Whilebuildingthebuilding,itwasplannedtoadapttothechangesinsocial needs,environmentalconditionsandseasonalchanges.Containers(workshop units)surroundingthefacadeofthebuildingaretransportedbyrailsystemsand thebuildingadaptstothenature.Inthisway,itisaimedtoincreaseenergy efficiencyandtocreateasociallyrichenvironment.

03 RESIDENTIALPROJECT REINFORCEDCONCRET Itisaresidentialprojectdesignedtomeettheneedsofafamilyoffour withtwochildren.Theprojectincludesparent,childandguestrooms,kitchen, bathrooms,technicalvolume,diningandlivingspaces.







04 OFFICEPROJECT REINFORCEDCONCRETE Itisanofficeprojectdesignedtomeettheneedsofasoftware companywiththirtyemployees.Theprojectincludestheentrance foyer,flooroffices,kitchen,wetareas,openandclosedworkingareas, meetingroomsandmanagementunits.







05 RESIDENTIALPROJECT STEEL Itisaresidentialprojectdesignedtomeettheneedsofafamilyoffivepeopleliving withtwochildrenandagrandfatherwhoearntheirlivingfromgreenhouses.Itislocatedin Antalya,200mfromthesea.Theprojectincludesthegreenhouse,parents,grandfather childrenandguestrooms,kitchen,bathrooms,technicalvolume,diningandlivingareas.
