My journey started from the day when I first joined PARAM society, new to all these things. At that time, I had completed my first year, full of excitement and ambitions to work on technical and computer related stuff in the upcoming year. My journey as a PARAM team member started back in 2016. I had no idea what the future held for me. I worked under the guidance of my seniors for 2 years and I pay my gratitude to all of them for being so supportive. These two years were very crucial for me as I have to learn many things which included new technologies, pre-event preparations and most importantly team spirit. I do not see myself as a higher authority person but rather as a team player. I was given the opportunity to guide the whole team this year, it has been very challenging for me but thanks to the guidance given to me by my senior mentors, and it has become easier for me to tackle various situations. This is the reason why I am always ready to give guidance to my juniors, as they are the one who are going to take the responsibility in future. I am thankful to my team members. I cannot deny the fact that they made my work easier. They have been enthusiastic and always ready to take every responsibility assigned to them and complete the tasks with perfection.
Being a part of team PARAM has helped me grow a lot. Working in a team like this has been a very good experience! It's been great to work as a param member . Being a param member provides you with lots of experience and knowledge. It's a great team that helps and cooperate with each other. With PARAM , i have learnt to work as a team and helped inorganizing various technical events for the welfare of students and society .
PARAM is a technical society organizing technical events. One can gain technical knowledge by being a member of this society. It has really been a great experience being in this group. It has always been a great experience to work with PARAM from being a participant to member. It has always contributed in enhancing as an individual or as a team. It gives you a platform for growing up as a technical head.
Shubham Jain (Head) Serving as the Head of 'SYNERGY', the technical society of the department of Electronics and communication of our college has been one of the greatest learning opportunities for me. Leading a team can be a very challenging responsibility. But with the right team, the task can be simplified, its errors can be 'Rectified' and its outcome can be 'Amplified'. 'Synergy' is not merely a term or a name, but a concept, an initiative which is aimed towards the development of both technical, communication and presentation skills. John Maxwell once said \"Teamwork makes the dream work\", as the head of Synergy, I realized the true meaning of this statement and the potential of team-work and also the responsibilities of a team-leader. To conclude I would say that it was a great experience and I am grateful that I got the opportunity to lead a great team and to work under the guidance of our esteemed teachers Shubham (Student Head, SYNERGY)
Sarmistha It’s my pleasure to be a member of synergy. Synergy is the best platform to show our talent ,being a part of this I Learned how the team can do wonders when they work in right way. Pooja Jangra The synergy define itself as a state in which two or more things work together in a particularly fruitful way that produces an effect greater than the sum of their individual effects. Expressed also as \"the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.\" And I have experienced the same thing in the synergy team when I working with the synergy team as a member I feel that team coordination creates the good event and it is the responsibility of head to make a good coordination between the team member. The head of our synergy society done the same thing in good manner as well as synergy coordinator Ms. Ekta ma'am support us to make the event good. Which is fruitful to each in every manner by providing the knowledge of electronic and communication in a joyful manner and it is joyful for us to learn and teach something in different way.
Dhananjay Patel Since from previous two years i am the member of synergy and it is great experience for me. I got lots of confidence under the synergy. Ravi Choudhary It was a memorable event, it was the first event of Synergy in current academic session 2018-19. The newcomers got a chance to present themselves on stage in front of department which was a moral booster for them and the event concluded with a smile on each face was a delighting and satisfying experience for our Synergy Team.

SELECTION IN TCS AND Want toEXplPaEcReIdEiNnCtcEs !!! It’s never too late to start anything. I have started my preparation from 5th semester. Make your base clear regarding the technology in which u have interest Practice for aptitude on a regular basis and Develop communication skills and that’s all!!! Now some information about tcs criteria TCS placement process consists of two phases - Written Round (Analytical+ Verbal Ability Test) and Personal Interview. Here are few resources that will help you to crack written examination : 1. Quantitative Aptitude by Arun Sharma: This is the book for CAT aspirants. Believe me if you solve LOD 1 and LOD 2; you can easily crack the analytical round. This is the sole book I used while preparing for TCS. 2. www.m4maths.com: This is perhaps the best and most useful resource for online help beside Quantitative Aptitude by Arun Sharma. Here you will get a lot of previously asked questions of TCS. In TCS examination you will encounter a few questions exactly same as on this site. 3. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning by Arun Sharma 4. Verbal and non-verbal Reasoning by R. S. Agarwal Personal Interview
Personal Interview round consists of three phases i.e. T. R. + M. R.+H. R. . So you will come across three people. If you are being interviewed by a panel of three person than you will have the entire three interview in a single round. If you are being interview by only two persons than you will have to go through HR round only when you qualify the previous round. So this varies but you will have to go through all the three phases. Technical Round: In technical round you will be asked simple conceptual questions. Never ever show how smart you are because interviewer is smarter than you. Keep calm and be confident. If you do not know answer of any question, simply say no and do not proceed with half answers or wrong answer because they will trap you in your own answer. In this round you will be asked question mostly from your CV. So the idea is to prepare well for the subject and topic you have mentioned in your CV and also keep sound knowledge of other CSE/IT subjects. So guys be prepared and have a basic knowledge of important CSE/IT subjects ( Data Structure, DBMS, C/C++, JAVA, Operating Systems, Software Engineering etc.) . They do not go in depth of any subject and ask only basic questions. I do not remember all the questions they asked me, but a few are as below: What is multithreading? How multithreading is implemented in Java? Managerial Round: In managerial round they will check you managerial skill. So as I experience try to give diplomatic answer and if they insist then answer what you truly think and provide reasons along with the answer. HR Round: This round lets you know about TCS terms and conditions. They can ask you questions related to your family and other non-technical stuffs. Basically they
check your communication skills and presence of mind. Even if you do not know the answer of a non-technical question, give answer in support of that. Also do R & D on TCS and grab information about TCS (like C. E. O., M. D., Founder etc.). Here are the most commonly asked questions in HR round: 1. Tell me about yourself. 2. Why TCS? 3. Why Should I hire you? 4. What are your strengths? BY SHIVANI GUPTA BT-CS
It is always a very difficult decision to make what to do next in our career. Picking up B.tech or engineering as a career is one of them. Some students choose engineering as their passion but some of them are just here for graduation degree. At that point of time we don't have much about knowledge anything in particular. I still remember that butterfly in the stomach feel that I have on my first day in college. It is same feeling as we all have in our first in school expect we don't have tears in our eye but so many questions. Frankly speaking I don't have answer to any of those questions. On that day I started a whole new chapter of my with many strangers now whom I call friends. We all remember well are the first day of college, I also have. With so many questions in minds I Put my first step forward & head towards seminar hall for the orientation program. As I reached the seminar I saw a bunch of students standing, some of them chatting, some roaming here & there, some of them standing in the queue for getting I'd card in front of seminar hall as orientation program is about to start & me standing at corner try to find myself a companion with whom I feel better & at last I found one from same steam. As orientation program is started by welcoming all the fresher’s to experience college life, making new friends, sharing, love, laughter, joy, knowledge & first experience of everything with some reality check that above all good things we have to face some real-life problems life exams, sessional, labs, class tests etc. etc. All these things are part of our life in every steam we have to deal with it. I remember we used to say that 4 years is a long period of time it take time to pass it but today when I'm writing my college story it seems like tomorrow. It is difficult to write down my experience as well as emotion in words. All I want to say is do study well, live in the moment, create memories, make friends, make good relation with teachers because at the end of day you are going to take all of these get along with yourself. Google Opens Maps APIs and World Becomes Developer's Playground Google announced that it will open its Maps APIs to video game developers, which could result in far more realistic settings in augmented reality games. With access to real-time map updates and rich location data, developers will have many choices of settings for their games. The APIs will provide developers with what Google has described as a \"living model of the world\" to use as a foundation for game worlds. Developers will have access to more than 100 million 3D buildings, roads, landmarks and parks from more than 200 countries around the globe. Google has released a new software development kit for the popular cross-platform game engine, Unity. Developers who use the Unity SDK won't need previous experience with Google Maps. The Unity integration will allow real-world buildings, roads and other structures to be transformed into objects that can be modified and tweaked as required for the game. The first three games that will utilize Google Maps APIs -- Jurassic World Alive, The Walking Dead: Our World and Ghostbusters World -- will combine augmented reality and location-based gameplay. Each will offer an experience not unlike that of the hit Pokémon Go, which lets players collect virtual characters that can be seen only on their smartphone screens. The gameplay likely will be similar -- but may involve capturing dinosaurs, shooting zombies and catching ghosts that turn up in a player's location. AR gaming is just the latest use of Google's technology. The Maps API could also inspire a new generation of creative geo-based games that were unachievable before now, due to the mapping costs involved, while the Street View imagery and 3D models could support even more realistic settings. Mapping is a necessity for compelling AR gaming, whether it is collection quests and other mild social gaming like RPGs, [or] first-person shooters. The use of the mapping technology also could allow small game studios to do much more with fewer people on staff. The new tools will make it easier for small and mid-size developers to create compelling games that involve real-world locations. Mapping technology is really the key utility in these location-based games.
