Let’s play a game!

You are going to play ‘Argument Battle’ game in groups of three (or pairs). The objective of the game is to keep the discussion going for as long as possible. GAME RULES: 1. One person expresses their opinion about the topic on the slide. 2. The next person must use the phrase that appears on the screen to continue the debate. 3. Continue debating and using the phrases until somebody doesn’t have a new argument (or counter-argument) to add or doesn’t know how to use the phrase. This person gets a penalty point. If all phrases from the slide are used, it is a draw, and no one gets points. 4. The next person starts a new debate about the topic on the next slide. 5. Play until somebody has 3 penalty points. The winner, and the argument battle champion, is the person with the fewest penalty points. 10
