PHILIPPINES VS THAILAND
I’d like to summarize all the differences between Thailand and Philippines since both countries are my favorite.
Thailand is a Buddhist Philippines is majority a Christian country Thailand have lots of temples or wats as they call it. In Pinas, since majority are Christians, there are lots of churches. So instead of christian statues being sold in stalls here, its Buddhist statues of course
Thai people mostly doesn’t communicate in English So if you’re not really into sign language, you need to learn how to speak Thai. In the Philippines, even though we’re shy and kinda nosebleeding on our English, we still find a way to adjust and speak it.
Tradition in Philippines Practiced as a sign of respect to elders, pagmamano is one of the oldest and most notable Filipino tradition there is. Mano means hand in Spanish, fittingly so as pagmamano is done by gently tapping the hand of the elder to a younger person's forehead.
Tradition in Thailand Greetings in Thai people which is the placing of two palms together, with fingertips touching the nose. A wai indicates the level of respect for another person and is an acknowledgement of seniority. A person should bow their head with their palms pressed together to indicate respect.
THAI CULTURE The culture in Thailand is a mix of strong Indian influences, Chinese traditions, and elements that are uniquely Thai. With its diverse geography, friendly people, and stunning scenery, the “Land of a Thousand Smiles” is a must-see destination in South East Asia. Much of Thailand’s culture comes from the ethnic Thai people. One of the most important influences on culture in Thailand is Buddhism. Many of the traditions and beliefs of the people in Thailand stem directly from Buddhist principles.
PHILIPPINES CULTURE The Filipino people have a distinct Asian background, with a strong Western tradition. The modern Filipino culture developed through influence from Chinease traders, Spanish conquistadors, and American rulers. Filipino people tend to be very hospitable, especially to Western visitors The family is the basic and most important aspect of Filipino culture. Divorce is prohibited and annulments are rare . The family is the safety net for indivudual, especially older people, during difficult economic times. Children will often stay with their parents into adulthood, only leaving when they get married . Political and business ties are often influenced by family relationships .

Philippines vs Thailand Which one is my favorite? Personally, the two countries cannot be compared because they have their own unique beauty. Its like same same but still different. But we need to learn from each other I guess. Take the good stuff, throw the bad. Towards a better society, not just for our countries but for the whole world as well.
