Jada 6th grade Green ELAR Mrs. Arnold

Jada Green has been nominated for the Outstanding C.H.A.R.G.E.R.S. award because of her excellent attitude. Lou Holtz, former Notre Dame coach and recipient of the Presidential Award of Freedom, once said: “Ability is what you are capable of doing. Motivation determines what you do. Attitude determines how well you do it.” Jada has a nice blend of all three. In the English Language Arts and Reading classroom, Jada has the ability to do well and consistently does so. She is highly motivated to learn and works diligently until she gets the job done. All the while, she maintains a “winning” attitude that helps her to do things very well. Whether learning remotely or face-to-face, Jada’s attitude has a positive impact on the class, making her a true joy to teach. Congratulations, Jada!

Emma 6th grade Hull Honors Math MrS. Bane

I am proud to nominate Emma Hull as my outstanding CHARGER for the 2nd grading period. Emma always demonstrates such a positive, upbeat attitude when she is in class. She is always full of joy and will brighten anyone's day. She encourages everyone to do their best and be on their best behavior. I am grateful to have Emma in my class this year.

Ethan 6th grade Roach Science Mr. Garcia

I am nominating Ethan to receive this Outstanding C.H.A.R.G.E.R.S. Award for his ATTITUDE in working hard, dedication in the classroom, and for the effort he puts into his school work. Ethan is kind, generous, respectful, and is a positive role model. He exhibits the characteristics that exemplify what an outstanding student should have. He is destined to be amazingly successful in anything he tries and he will also make those around him successful.

Abigail 6th grade Scholl Physical Education Coach Harbuck

Ms. Abigail Scholl possesses a strong work ethic and attitude towards accepting challenges that will ultimately make her better. She is coachable and has willingness to do what it takes to improve. Abigail is mindful of her teammates and can often be found encouraging others in their own quest for improvement. Abigail is a joy to coach!

Dayannara 6th grade DeLaCruz Math Revelorio Ms. Harman

Dayannara's positive attitude brings happiness to those around her. She is a driven young lady, who has a passion for learning. Without fail, Dayannara comes to class with a smile on her face. I am so thankful to have Dayannara as a student this year! Congratulations!!!

Sophia English & Galindo Science Mrs. MacNeil

Sophia is what you would call a well-rounded student. She exemplifies many of the necessary characteristics needed to be an successful young lady. She is organized, intrinsically motivated, respectful, responsible and hardworking. As her ELAR and Science co-teacher, I have seen her diligence and work ethic in all she does. I have seen her push through hard things by asking questions and seeking the help she needs to gain better understanding. With all of her hard work comes this amazing attitude. She is always willing to help her peers and teachers. She encourages others to also do their best when they are struggling. Sophia defines Outstanding CHARGER in so many ways, but the light that radiates from her joyful spirit and attitude are what I adore most. She is so deserving of this award and I am proud to have her as my student.

Hannah Choir Lohse Mr. Pineda

If you could make sunshine a person, it would be Hannah. She is always up for a challenge and she does it with a smile. Hannah is an infectious person. By her example, others are called to take on challenges without fear. Should there be a stumble, Hannah is usually there as a cheerleader, helping to dust of the challenge and encouraging us all to try again!

Chloe 6th grade Oates World Cultures Ms. Taylor

Chloe is such an amazing student! I teach all honors social studies classes, except for one \"on level\" class and I am blessed that I got lucky enough to have her in my 5th period on level group. ALTHOUGH, I always tell her she should have taken honors!!! She is such a great student and is definitely more than capable of it. She takes on many of the attributes of a \"C.H.A.R.G.E.R\" - she is super respectful, considerate of her classmates, and responsible with her work. She is always ready to help a friend in need. She has the best attitude and comes in to my class every morning with a smile and is ready to get down to business. She always makes my b-day mornings brighter by getting the day started off on the right foot! She goes above and beyond with all the work she is given and wants to make sure she gives 100%. She is a hard worker and wants to succeed. I am super proud of everything she has accomplished this year and I want her to know she is capable of so much more than she thinks - not just in my class, but with everything!. YOU ARE AWESOME GIRL! Keep up the great work.

Eli Art 1 Seaman Ms. Vineyard

If you are looking for a student who has a positive attitude then Eli is your guy. He is extremely caring & generous. Eli goes out of his way to ensure that people know that they are seen & important. He is constantly giving people compliments, telling people hi in the halls, or striking up positive and encouraging conversations with others. If he sees or hears someone being not so nice to others he is the first to stand up for them & always has something good to say about them to make them feel better. I have thoroughly enjoyed having Eli in class this semester.

Jack Study Hall Rees Mr. Holcomb

I am nominating Jack Rees for my outstanding Charger award for the 2nd nine week grading period because of the respect that he shows each and every time he comes in the room. Jack displays a respectful attitude that lights up the room. Jack displays an attitude that will serve him well in life.

Addison Discovering Menden Languages and Cultures Ms. Harp

Addison, I have enjoyed having you in DLC class this year. You are such a genuine soul. I can always count on you to participate in class discussions and when you do, you have such really great things to share about yourself and your family. It is great getting to know you through the teachings of this class and as a student. I appreciate your willingness to share yourself honestly and genuinely with our class. You are an amazing student that puts great effort and thoughtfulness into your assignments and projects. All these things make you such an Outstanding Student and more importantly an Outstandingly Genuine Human Being! Thank you for being such a blessing for me this year. Mrs. Harp

Diego is always a joy to have in class and is always willing to volunteer to help out whenever and however he can. I really appreciate his genuine support in the classroom.

Elliott 6th grade Pearce Math Mrs. Cason

Elliott has done an outstanding job during e-learning! He personally reaches out to me via email when he needs to schedule a google meeting and faithfully shows up as scheduled. He has worked extremely hard all year and I am so proud of him. Elliott also always has a positive, happy disposition that makes him a joy to work with. Way to go, Elliott! Keep up the great work!

Brooklyn 6th grade Brininstool ELAR Mr. Cook

Brooklyn is 100% of the time doing her absolute best. From her going online to in-person, she has not missed a beat. She pays attention to all, devotes her whole time to listening and participating in discussions, and she even is responsible enough to ask to mute me so she can work when I refuse to be quiet during work time. She is the ultimate student and the way she has tackled this year with all its craziness is inspiring and she has gone above and beyond anything that has been asked this year.

Amora Student Cummings Leaders Mrs. Hobby

Amora comes into class every day with a friendly greeting and a smile on her face. She is always prepared, makes a sincere effort in everything she does, and works hard in class. She is responsible, cheerful, eager to please, and respectful and considerate of others. She participates in class discussions and works well with her classmates. She demonstrates excellent leadership qualities and contributes much to the classroom environment with her helpfulness and positive attitude. She does not hesitate to ask questions, always wanting to do her best. Amora is an example to others and a wonderful role model to her peers. I am certain that Amora is going to continue to do great and creative things in her future endeavors. Great job, Amora, for being an “Outstanding Student” for the Second 9 weeks!

Jacob 6th grade Esquilin Science Honors Ms. Lane

It is a true pleasure to recognize Jacob as my outstanding student for the second nine weeks. Jacob shows many of the outstanding C.H.A.R.G.E.R.S. attributes, but the one I nominated him for is responsibility. He is a remarkable young man, who is an outstanding human being in and out of the classroom. He shows up eager to learn and participates actively in class. Jacob is always willing to ask and answer questions and doesn’t let anything get in his way, especially learning through a screen at the beginning of the year. He demonstrates determination in the classroom, persevering and showing great character when facing any situation. Thank you, Jacob, for being such an outstanding young man.
