เอกสารประกอบการเรียนการสอน รายวชิ าภาษาองั กฤษ เรื่อง Comparison ข้นั ธรรมดา ข้ันกว่าและข้ันสูงสุด …………………………………………………………………………………………….. จุดประสงค์ : เพอื่ ใหน้ กั เรียนสามารถเปรียบเทียบคาคุณศพั ท์ (Adjective) หรือคากริยาวเิ ศษณ์ (Adverb) ไดอ้ ยา่ งถูกตอ้ ง และสามารถรู้จกั การเปรียบเทียบในรูปข้นั ปกติ (Positive degree) ข้นั กวา่ (Comparative degree) และข้นั สูงสุด (Superlative degree) ได้ คาชี้แจง : ใหน้ กั เรียนศึกษาใบความรู้เรื่อง Comparison โดยแบง่ ศึกษาเป็นกลุ่ม กลุ่มละ 4 คน และทาแบบฝึกหดั ร่วมกนั และปรึกษากนั ในกลุ่ม พร้อมกบั บนั ทึกคาศพั ทย์ ากลงในสมุดคาศพั ท์ หลงั จากน้นั เปิ ดดูเฉลยทา้ ยเล่ม ซ่ึงการศึกษานกั เรียนตอ้ งไม่เปิ ดดูคาเฉลยก่อน จนกวา่ นกั เรียนจะทา แบบฝึกใหเ้ สร็จสิ้นกระบวนการก่อน และตรวจคาตอบท่ีถูกตอ้ งจากเฉลย และกลบั มาทบทวนใหม่ เพ่อื ใหเ้ กิดความเขา้ ใจยงิ่ ข้ึน การศึกษา : 1. ใหน้ กั เรียนอ่าน และศึกษาใบความรู้เร่ือง Comparison ตามลาดบั ดงั น้ี 1.1 การเปรียบเทียบข้นั เท่า (Positive Degree) 1.2 การเปรียบเทียบข้นั กวา่ (Comparative Degree ) 1.3 การเปรียบเทียบข้นั สูงสุด (Superlative Degree) 2. หลงั จากศึกษาใบความรู้ตามลาดบั เรียบร้อยแลว้ ใหท้ าแบบฝึกหดั ในใบงานท่ี 1 แลว้ ตรวจคาตอบท่ีถูกตอ้ งจากเฉลยทา้ ยเล่ม 3. กลบั มาทบทวนความเขา้ ใจในใบงานท่ี 1 อีกรอบ 4. ทาแบบฝึกหดั ในใบงานที่ 2 แลว้ ตรวจคาตอบท่ีถูกตอ้ งจากเฉลยทา้ ยเล่ม 5. กลบั มาทบทวนความเขา้ ใจในใบงานท่ี 2 อีกรอบ 6. หากการทาแบบฝึกหดั ของนกั เรียนผลการศึกษายงั ไม่ดีเท่าที่ควร นกั เรียนลองอา่ น และศึกษาทบทวนอีกคร้ัง และทาแบบฝึกหดั ใหม่ และตรวจดูเฉลยเพอ่ื ความ ถูกตอ้ ง

Comparison of Adjectives and Adverbs Comparison adjectives and adverbs หมายถึง การเปรียบเทียบคาคุณศพั ท์ และคากริยาวเิ ศษณ์ท่ีแสดงคุณภาพของนามหรือของคากริยาเพ่ือบอกใหท้ ราบลกั ษณะดีเด่นเทา่ เทียมกนั อยา่ งไรโดยแบง่ ออกเป็นประเภทใหญ่ ๆ ได้ 2 ประเภท คือ 1. การเปรียบเทียบข้นั เท่าเทียมกนั 2. การเปรียบเทียบข้นั ไมเ่ ท่าเทียมกนั การเปรียบเทยี บข้ันเท่าเทยี มกนั -การเปรียบเทียบข้นั เทา่ เทียมกนั หรือการเปรียบเทียบข้นั ปกติ (Positive Degree ) เป็นการเปรียบเทียบเพ่ือแสดงความเท่าเทียมกนั โดยใชต้ วั เปรียบเทียบดงั น้ี 1. ใช้ as ………….. as เป็นตวั เชื่อม เพ่ือแสดงความเทา่ เทียมกนั As + adj. + as Adv. เช่น Suchada is as tall as Sumalee. = สุชาดาสูงเทา่ กบั สุมาลี Miguel is as beautiful as Macha. = มิเกลสวยเท่ากบั มาชาร์ 2. ใช้ not as ………. as หรือ not so ………. as ในรูปประโยคปฎิเสธ Siriam is not as old as Somsri. Today is not so warm as yesterday. 3. ใช้ as much ( many) ………. As ในความหมายวา่ มีมากเท่ากนั as much + นามนบั ไมไ่ ด้ + as as many + นามนบั ได + as เช่น My uncle has as much money as a millionair. Malinee has as many friends as Suda. 4. ใช้ the same + noun (คานาม) as ในความหมายวา่ เท่ากนั Sudarat is the same height as Siriam. These jeans are the same size as those ones.

การเปรียบเทยี บข้ันไม่เท่ากนั การเปรียบเทียบข้นั ไม่เทา่ กนั คือ การเปรียบเทียบข้นั กว่า (Comparative Degree) และข้นั สูงสุด (Superlative Degree) ซ่ึงมีวธิ ีการเปลี่ยนคา adjective และคา adverb เป็นข้นั กวา่ และข้นั สูงสุด ดงั น้ี 1. คา adjective หรือ adverb ท่ีมีพยางเดียว ใหเ้ ติม - er เม่ือเป็นข้นั กวา่ และเติม -est เมื่อเป็ นข้นั สูงสุด เช่น Positive degree Comparative Superlative degree meanings ข้นั ปกติ degree ข้นั กว่า ข้นั สูงสุด ความหมาย cheap cheaper than the cheapest ราคาถูก long longer than the longest ยาว hard harder than the hardest แขง็ deep deeper than the deepest ลึก short Shorter than The shortest ส้นั ยกเวน้ คา adjective หรือ adverb ที่มีพยางคเ์ ดียว แตม่ ีสระเสียงส้ัน และมีตวั สะกดตวั เดียว ใหเ้ ติมตวั สะกดตวั สุดทา้ ยอีก 1 ตวั ก่อน แลว้ จึงเติม - er เขา้ ไปเมื่อเป็ นข้นั กวา่ และเติม - est เม่ือ เป็นข้นั สูงสุด big bigger than the biggest fat fatter than the fattest hot hotter than the hottest sad sadder than the saddest thin thinner than the thinnest 2. คา adjective หรือ adverb ท่ีลงทา้ ยดว้ ย er le หรือ ow ใหเ้ ติม - er เม่ือเป็น ข้นั กวา่ และ เติม - est เมื่อเป็นข้นั สูงสุด clever cleverer than the cleverest bitter bitterer than the bitterest narrow narrower than the narrowest shallow shallower than the shallowest 3.คา adjective หรือ adverb ท่ีมี 2 พยางค์ หรือมากกวา่ 2 พยางคข์ ้ึนไปใหใ้ ช้ more + adjective หรือ adverb + than เมื่อเป็นข้นั กวา่ และใช้ the most เม่ือเป็นข้นั สูงสุด

Sarah is more beautiful than Susan. Football is more interesting than any other sports. Moscow is colder than any other capitals in Europe.

ตวั อยา่ งการเปรียบเทียบข้นั สูงสุด Superlative Degree การเปรียบเทียบข้นั สูงสุดจะใชใ้ น การเปรียบเทียบระหวา่ งคนมากกวา่ 2 คนขน้ ไป สัตวมากกวา่ 2 ตวั ข้ึนไป หรือส่ิงของมากกวา่ 2 ส่ิง ข้ึนไป เช่น This is the newest chair in the house. Apasara is the most beautiful woman in the Universe. My English teacher is the most friendly woman in this school.
