The Lonely Tree

James and the Polluted Forest Lukas Mikael V. Pelaez 8-Linnaeus

There was a 12-year-old boy named James who loved plants, one day he decided to visit a popular forest that had lots of trees, plants, and animals, when he arrived, he was shocked how polluted the forest was and how different it looked in the pictures he was very sad about the forest so he decided to go back home.

James arrived home with a frown and realized he couldn't just let his favorite forest be polluted, so he decided to make a plan to clean the forest and plant trees, but he couldn't do it alone so he asked his friends if they could help him out, 3 of his friends named Henry, Seth, and Jake, wanted to help him out so they met up and decided to clean the forest next week.

James and his friends arrived at the supermarket and they bought their assigned items, James bought the cleaning tools, Seth bought the garbage bags and tents, Henry bought the shovels, and Jake bought the tree seeds after buying everything they put everything in the car and drove to the forest

after 2 hours of driving they finally arrived to the forest and his friends where shocked how trashed the place was and how much trees and logs were on the ground, but they still had hope and they all started cleaning after 7 hours of tirelessly working there was barely any visible trash and they were happy with the difference, they built their tents and went to sleep.

They woke up and ate for 20 minutes and took a rest, after that they went back to work, got their shovels, dug up holes, planted hundreds of tree seeds, and watered them, hoping the seeds would grow into trees. They drove back to their very tired and they took a rest. 2 months later they visited the forest and they were happy with the results.

The forest was greener, there was no trash and a lot of trees had grown big and lots of animals, James and his friends were surprised how much the forest changed and realized how helping the world a little can make big differences.

This story is about a 12-year- old boy named James and his friends trying to clean a polluted forest and were happy with their success of helping the world and making it a better place.
