FADE IN: MUSIC CUE: Upbeat Promotional Music EXT. BASKETBALL COURT - DAY The basketball court has a very lively ambience. JACOB’s friends can be heard cheering in the background. JACOB is in a basketball match, his legs are rooted to the ground but is dribbling the ball and looks tense. When he looks to the left and right, he sees two defenders approaching him. JACOB looks up and to the front. He sees the basketball net in front of him. He aims and shoots the ball. One of the defenders hand reaches out in an attempt to block the ball. As the ball flies up into the air, JACOB is tensed. JACOB (V.O.) (calm and collected voice) This shot is definitely making it in. INTERCUT WITH: BEGIN FLASHBACK: SERIES OF SHOTS - JACOB’S JOURNEY OF IMPROVING HIMSELF A) EXT. NEIGHBOURHOOD PARK - DAY JACOB (V.O.) (calm and collected voice) I will succeed. JACOB is in his sports attire and is extremely sweaty. He runs to the side where there is a 100 plus bottle on the floor. He bends down to tie his shoelaces. He checks his watch then continues to go for his jog. B) INT. JACOB’S PERSONAL GYM - DAY JACOB (V.O.) (calm and collected voice) I will prosper.

JACOB is in a different set of sports attire to indicate a 2. different day. He is working out and lifting weights. After completing his set, he takes a break and wipes his sweat. He then takes a sip from a bottle of 100 Plus energy drink. C) INT. JACOB’S ROOM - DAY JACOB (V.O.) (calm and collected voice) This time, it will be different. JACOB is on his bed wearing casual clothes. He looks on the floor and sees a crumpled piece of paper on the floor next to a 100 Plus energy drink bottle. He picks up the crumpled piece of paper and throws it to the rubbish bin across his room but misses. Jacob looks annoyed. END OF FLASHBACK. CUT TO: EXT. BASKETBALL COURT - CONTINUOUS The basketball is currently travelling through the air. INTERCUT WITH: JACOB being extremely focused on the flying ball. CUT TO: The basketball makes it into the hoop. The whistle is blown. CUT TO: JACOB’s face goes from being tense to standing with his mouth agape. He looks at his hands and then looks at the basketball net. He clenches his hand into a fist squats down and starts shouting in excitement. His friends run towards him to congratulate him on making the shot. ON THE BENCH JACOB (V.O.) (calm and collected voice)
