Present Simple Tense has แปลวา่ ม,ี กิน, ด่มื (ประธาน+ have, has + นาม) have แปลว่า มี, กิน, ดื่ม I have a dog. ผมมสี นุ ัขตัวหน่ึง He has a black car. เขามีรถยนต์สดี าคนั หนึง่ A cat has four legs. แมวมีสี่ขา Dogs have two eyes. หมาทั้งหลายมสี องตา I usually have rice and curry. โดยปกตผิ มกินขา้ วกับแกง She always has a cup of tea in the morning. หลอ่ นดืม่ ชาหนงึ่ ถ้วยในตอนเชา้ เสมอ

ประโยคบอกเลา่ ประโยคบอกเลา่ จะเปน็ โครงสร้างธรรมดา คอื ประธาน + have, has + นาม (ประโยคบอกเล่าไมน่ ิยมยอ่ รปู ) He, She, It, A cat has a car. I, You, We, They, Cats have a car.

ประโยคปฏเิ สธ โครงสรา้ งปฏิเสธ ให้เอา do not กบั does not มาใช้ครบั และคาวา่ has ตอ้ งกลับรา่ งเป็น have ดงั เดิม เพราะคาวา่ does มี s อยแู่ ล้ว have ก็ไม่ตอ้ งเติม s อกี He, She, It, A cat does not have a car. I, You, We, They, Cats do not have a car. การยอ่ รปู do not = don’t does not = doesn’t
