PROVE THEM WRONG “Words can be like X-rays if you use them properly – they’ll go through anything. You read and you’re pierced.” ― ALDOUS HUXLEY
PREJUDICED SOCIETY Vedanti kesarkar, SE A ELEX “Hypocrisy is the mother of all evil and prejudice is still her favorite child” Humans are social animals and these social animals have drastically created these social rules that promote making assumptions or opinions about a person based on their race, sex, age, religion, nationalism, or appearances. Well, this gave birth to the prejudice concept. Since the roots of the social rules are so engraved in our society, prejudices are the aftermath of normal human thinking. They often begin in the form of stereotypes. A stereotype is a pessimistic belief about individuals of a group, regardless of their personal/individual traits. These prejudices or credence are applied to all members of a group. For example, someone holding prejudiced frame of mind towards women that they are not shrewd enough or clever enough to run a business. A counterproof example of Falguni Nayar, the billionaire founder of Nykaa, a very successful female businesswoman proves this wrong. Proving prejudices wrong sometimes takes years, and opportunities don’t wait around for you to fight these and get them. A job interviewee, a teacher, a mentor, a family member, a friend, a boss, or any human being may sometimes act on their prejudiced attitudes toward a group of people, and this behavior results in discrimination. These practises are definitely not legally approved and hence individuals should never feel inferior or if made felt so, raise their voices.
UNTOLD STORY OF PEOPLE DHARA MODI, SE B COMP BEFORE: He is an Indian professional field hockey player and an ex-captain of the Indian National Team. He made his international debut in January 2004 in Sultan Azlan Shah Cup In Kuala Lumpur. He took over as the captain of the Indian national team in January 2009. At a time when he was at his peak, he was said to have the best speed in the world in drag flick (speed 145 km/h). On 22 August 2006, Singh was seriously injured after being hit by an accidental gunshot in Shatabadi train, while on his way to join the national team due to leave for the World Cup in Germany two days later. He was almost paralyzed and on a wheelchair for two years of his life. AFTER: Sandeep Singh Bhinder not only recovered from that serious injury, but also established himself again in the team. Under his captaincy, the Indian team managed to clinch the Sultan Azlan Shah Cup in 2009 after defeating Malaysia in the finals at Ipoh. India won the title after a long wait of 13 years. Singh was also the top goal scorer of the tournament. The India men’s national Hockey team had qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London after a gap of 8 years. The team had a resounding victory over France in the finals of the Olympic qualifiers by beating France 8–1. Ace drag-flicker Singh starred in the final against France by scoring five goals – including a hat-trick – all from penalty corners (19th, 26th, 38th, 49th and 51st minutes). Singh was the highest scorer of the Olympic qualifiers tournament by scoring 16 goals. He is regarded as one of the best drag flickers of the game.
PROBLEM FACED BY WOMEN DURING PERIODS ABHISHEK GUPTA, SE IOT Each day, more than 300 million women go through menstruation. There is a growing recognition that this natural process is poorly perceived and presents a barrier to health and gender equality in low- and low-income situations. A growing theme of quality research has been instrumental in highlighting this issue. Early studies focusing on women reported that menstruation was associated with discomfort and fear. Access to clean, reliable menstrual hygiene, supportive sanitation infrastructure, and biological and operational information about menstruation were highlighted as key challenges. Research has suggested that these challenges have a negative impact on school participation. health, and well-being. A few studies of older women have shown that they also lack resources and support, which can contribute to stress and unemployment. The second objective of this review was to obtain specific rich evidence to improve understanding of menstrual health. System-based scoping studies often identify a list of key factors in the menstrual experience, along with a list of health and educational outcomes. However, the mechanisms between the different donors and their impact often remain poorly understood. Menstrual health research often draws on systematic models instead of detailed problem theory. One typical model includes a Venn diagram with three circuits: information, menstrual products, and sanitation. This may include cultural norms and social factors as a broader perspective surrounding these three contexts. These Venn models provide high-quality imagery and editorial appreciation pillars. However, they do not provide detailed problem theory, map relationships and aetiological methods of imaginary impacts on health and education. For example, we can expect a variety of causal mechanisms that contribute to infection of the reproductive tract rather than mental health. The need for a detailed problem theory becomes even more evident when, in response to the many challenges for women and girls, the characters develop complex, multi-
component, and many desirable outcomes. Lack of clarity about contextual ideas, or words, in menstrual research has made it even more difficult to develop problem theory. The first attempts were made about 'menstrual hygiene'. This was described as 'women and adolescents using pure contraceptive devices to absorb or collect blood that could be secretly diverted as often as possible during menstruation, using soap and water to wash the body as needed, and access to menstrual control facilities' [6] , which provides the goal of improving the effective and hygienic management of menstruation. However, because this definition does not include other menstrual requirements highlighted by quality research, recent translations have expanded the definition, adding that '[teenage girls and girls] understand the basic truths related to the menstrual cycle and how to treat it with dignity and dignity. without discomfort or fear '[23]. Dissatisfied with the inclusion and focus of physical 'menstrual hygiene', recent efforts have referred to 'menstrual health', promoted as a compound term that combines both menstrual hygiene management (MHM) and broader systemic factors that link menstruation with health. , welfare, gender, education, equality, empowerment, and rights' .This term may be useful to describe a broad field of research and practice and to assist in the consideration of menstrual disorders (e.g., dysmenorrhea, endometriosis). However, while the use of ‘menstrual health’ or the extension of ‘menstrual hygiene’ may be beneficial in broader discourse, it does not address the underlying lack of theory of a cohesive problem. Therefore, using the translation approach in this review, we seek to alter problem theory and conceptual interpretations by providing a more nuanced model and repetitive features of the menstrual experience. Overall, this systematic review and metasynthesis had 2 main objectives: to
compile and evaluate high-quality research on menstrual conditions in women and girls and to interpret findings from all subjects to develop an integrated model for integrating menstrual information relationships between contributing factors (precursors). ), menstrual experience, and the consequences of poor health and well-being experiences (side effects). menstrual cycle begins on the first day of one period and ends on the first day following. The average is 28 days, and anything between 21 and 35 is normal. Problem face by women during this period are 1] Loss of Blood and Clots Although they may vary from month to month, the times usually start with a small amount of fluctuations, and they get worse and worse. On average, women lose 2 to 4 tablespoons of blood each time. Depending on the pads or tampons, that means you change them out every 2 hours or so. If you need to change in less than 2 hours regularly - or have quarterly clots or larger clots - Small blood clots are common. Your body releases anticoagulants so that the blood does not clot as it travels through the vagina. But on days when you bleed or have a lot of pressure, it may not be released in time. 2] Constipation To release blood from your uterus, muscles tighten and relax. That's the sharp pain you feel between your abdomen and lower back.Cramps can start before menstruation and remain throughout the bleeding process. If they feel gentle, as if someone were pressing your hardened eggs, it is normal. Try over-the-counter medication to relieve pain. If you have shortness of breath or double pain. 3] Nausea One of the hormones released during your cycle is called prostaglandin. Although most of these are secreted through the lining of the uterus, some enter your bloodstream. This can cause nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and headaches Many things can affect your cycle, such as depression, illness, weight gain, and eating habits, including eating
disorders. It also depends on the release of the egg, or when your ovaries release the egg approximately during your cycle. This may not happen every month, especially in the beginning. Tracking your time can help you understand your personal pattern. Make a daily chart for a few months, including symptoms (mood swings, constipation) and when your period starts and ends.Over time Menstruation does not always mean that you are pregnant. You do not usually have it once in a while, especially if your body is experiencing something very serious, such as depression, illness, or strenuous exercise. If there is problem there is always a solution . Since menstrual cramps are excruciating pain in the lower abdomen. The muscles in your uterus contract and contract to remove excess tissue. It is then that you may experience cramps, some women experience more pain than others. Discomfort irritates some women. For some, the symptoms may be severe enough to interrupt daily activities for a few days each month. Make sure he takes care of you. Keep healthy foods high in sugar and fatty foods. Drinking plenty of water can also prevent your body from sticking to water and thus reducing constipation. There is a view that exercise is not appropriate when experiencing menstrual cramps, however exercise actually increases blood flow and promotes the release of emotionally stimulating hormones called endorphins.4 Exercise and stretching have been shown to be effective in reducing menstrual cramp pain.If you are prone to menstrual cramps, exercising 3-4 times a week improves overall health and can help with menstrual cramps.Massage with fragrant oils has been shown to provide relief and shorten the duration of menstrual cramps.7 Go ahead and try with lavender, clary sage, or marjoram oil. Heat treatment works by moving past skin layers and working directly on the muscus thus relaxing and reducing pain.8 Continuous, low-grade heat has been shown to provide relief from menstrual pain and menstrual cramps in
women.9 Many types of heat treatments are available at your store or pharmacy, including warm scars, heat pads, and hot water bottles. Non- Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) correct the cause of menstrual pain in the source by reducing the production of pain-causing chemicals called prostaglandins. Ibuprofen sodium, a drug in Advil Film-Coated has been shown to provide strong relief from severe menstrual cramps. cramps, headaches and back pain.
MENTAL HEALTH SUMEET S. RAJU, SE B MECH ❖ Introduction: ➢ What is Mental Health? It’s a state of well-being in which an individual can understand their own abilities, deal with the stresses of life, work productively & fruitfully, & is in a position to make a contribution to the community. It includes but isn’t limited to an individual’s emotional, psychological, & social well-being & affects how the individual think’s, feels, & acts. An individual’s mental state is incredibly important at every step of their life, from childhood & adolescence through adulthood. ❖ Why is it necessary to be aware of our Mental Health? Most folks are acquainted with the symptoms & treatment options for common illnesses that affect the people, for example flu, migraines, or the most recent COVID-19 pandemic, but many people have no knowledge on how to look after their mental health. By being aware of our overall health, we can detect any bad symptoms & seek professional help as quick as possible. Raising mental health awareness is a way to understand the symptoms, find professional treatment, & most importantly, break the mental health stigma that leaves quite a huge number of individual’ssuffering in secret. It is something that not only helps us but also helps our family members, friends, & co-worker’s as well as the millions of people who are impacted by mental health issues throughout the world. From many surveys conducted by health organizations, it is seen that 1 in every 5 adults have had or are having symptoms of a mental illness. From this we discover just how prevalent mental illnesses actually are. 3 of the main reasons from spreading mental health awareness are: 1. To know the symptoms – Plenty of individuals who are already affected by mental health issues don’t actually realize that their struggles are due to untreated disorders. Hence, it is necessary to spread mental health awareness so that they can understand its symptoms.
2. To have more behavioural health resources – A major benefit of spreading mental health awareness is that the more people that know about the necessity for mental health treatment, the more resources would be available for its treatment. Without these resources, people may not be able to recover. 3. To break the mental health stigma - Mental health awareness is one of the significant ways of breaking the stigma of needing mental health care. It doesn’t mean that they’re “crazy” if an individual has a mental illness as it also impacts countless people round the globe. By being aware of it & getting the right care, they realize that they are not the only one & this brings them one step closer to recovering their mental state faster. ❖ Symptoms of Mental Health Disorders: There can be variations in the signs & symptoms of mental health issues, depending on the disorder, circumstances & other factors. Some of the most seen symptoms include: 1. Confused thinking or reduced ability to concentrate. 2. Excessive fears or worries, or extreme feelings of guilt. 3. Withdrawal from friends & activities. 4. Detachment from reality (delusions), paranoia or hallucinations. 5. Trouble understanding & relating to situations and to people. 6. Problems with alcohol or drug use. 7. Excessive anger, hostility or violence. 8. Suicidal thinking. Symptoms of a mental health disorder also appear as physical problems, like stomach aches, back pain, headaches, or other unexplainable aches & pains. ❖ Causes of Mental Health Disorders: Mental illnesses, in general, are caused by a variety of genetic & environmental factors like: 1. Inherited Traits: This is often observed in people whose blood relatives are also suffering from it. 2. Environmental Exposures Before Birth: Environmental stressors, inflammation, toxins, alcohol or drugs while the child is within the womb
can sometimes cause mental illness. 3. Brain Chemistry: When the neural networks involving neurotransmitters (a naturally occurring brain chemical that carries signals to other parts of the brain & body) are impaired, the function of nerve receptors & nerve systems change, resulting in depression & other emotional disorders. Mental illnesses are also caused when the demands placed on someone exceeds the individuals’ resources & coping abilities. 2 examples of common demands are: 1. Working long hours under difficult circumstances. 2. Caring for a chronically ill relative or friend. Economic hardship, un/under-employment & poverty also are some of the other causes of mental health disorders. ❖ How can we have a Good Mental Health? Making simple changes in our live doesn’t cost a fortune or takes up a lot of our time. Some practical ways to look after our mental health are as follows: 1. Talking about our feelings. 2. Keep active, exercising regularly. 3. Eating well, maintaining a decent diet. 4. Drinking alcoholic drinks sensibly. 5. Keeping in touch with people (especially friends, family members, close ones, etc.). 6. Asking for help when needed. 7. Taking a break from time to time may it be a few minutes. 8. Doing something we’re good at. 9. Accepting who we are. 10. Caring for others. ❖ Benefits of having a Good Mental Health: A good mental health helps determining how an individual handle’s stress, relates to others, & makes choices. Some benefits of having a good mental health include: 1. Reduction in anxiety.
2. Improved moods. 3. Thinking Clearly. 4. A greater sense of calm or inner peace. 5. Increase in self-esteem. 6. Reduced risk of depression. 7. Improvements in relationships. Other benefits of having a good mental health through physical fitness include: 1. Sharper memory. 2. Better sleep. 3. Increase in energy. 4. Stronger resilience to health issues. 5. An increase in BDNF (Brain-Derived Neurotrophic Factor), which improves neurotransmission. ❖ Conclusion: Mental health problems are common among the people of the present era but on the bright side assistance is available for any mental health issues. People with mental health problems can bounce back & have a high possibility of recovering completely within the least amount of time.
GENDER DISCRIMINATION VEDANTI KESARKAR, SE ELEX What is gender? Is gender an identity? Certainly gender is not a choice. But gender is shaped, molded to young new minds. A very Zestful and Spirited afternoon to one and all present over here. My name is Vedanti kesarkar and I am here to give voice to the topic Gender Discrimination. Gender Discrimination, a major Issue. Equality between the sexes is a huge part of basic human rights. It means that men and women have the same opportunities. Unfortunately the picture of today’s world is apparently diminished. I started questioning gender-based assumptions a long time ago. When I was 8, I was confused for being called bossy because I wanted to direct the games, events or activities that we would put on, but the boys were not. When I was 14, i saw girls getting restricted cause of the usual monthly cycle. When at 15, my girlfriends started dropping out of sports teams because they didn’t want to appear muscly. Well, there are still so many years left to amaze me and help me get a clear picture of this injustice world. Women want to live an independent life. Women want to control and decide what to do with their own bodies and lives Women want equal pay. Women want equal recognition. I have decided that I am a feminist. Feminist, an interesting word. First, People make assumptions that feminism is only for women. Second, people mistake feminism for an ideology, something you either
believe or not. The irony is that these stereotypes are exactly what anti-feminists have wanted us to believe. As I see it, true feminism is simply to stand up for equality, irrespective of gender. Gender equality is men issue, too. Because to date, I’ve seen father’s role as a parent being valued less by society, despite need of his presence to a child, as much as mother’s. I’ve heard of young men suffering from mental illness, unable to ask for help for fear it would make them less of a man. Both men and women should feel free to be sensitive. Both men and women should feel free to be strong. I want men to take up this mantle so that their daughters, sisters, and mothers can be free from prejudice, but also so that their sons have permission to be vulnerable and human too. If you believe in equality, you might be one of those inadvertent feminists that I spoke of earlier, and for this, I applaud you.
MOTIVATIONAL STORY CHAITALI SALKAR, SE B MECH “The struggle you’re in today is developing the strength you need for tomorrow” Life is all about facing challenges and becoming a better individual. Undoubtedly, some people start criticising themselves just after one problem, while others get up again, face that situation and come out with flying colours. Here, is one real story about my friend This is about 5 years ago incident when me and my friend name kahkasha were in 10th standard. Our board exams were about to come. So we and our teacher talked to her and made her understand that its crucial period of your life that will make your future. And its know your responsibility to look towards your family for that you have to pass with good grade and then only you will able to make your future bright.
Also she was a brilliant student in our class. From that day her real struggle started , she also use to look to her family as she was the elder one in family. After that incident being a elder one took the responsibility of her family, Doing house work taking care of her family she applied for competitive exams as her dream was to become Adovocate. Finally, by facing so much circumstance in her life she achieved her dream. Kahkasha passed the exam and became adovocate. Looking towards her family simultaneously doing studies and doing job ,by so much hard work she become successful. This was just possible because she didn’t stop at that incident. She keep on doing the hard work. AS we say HARDWORK DEFINETLY PAYS YOU BACK. “Your positive action combined with positive thinking results in success.” This motivates me to struggle and study hard to change everything I want. Inspite of all these Big challenges and hurdles my will power, my itch is BIIGER than these challenges to change everything. There is a ray of hope which will definitely shine one day. But these are the days to strengthen emotions, will power. Guys life should not be very straight, your real potential will display only when you go through lots of hurdles. Every situation in life teaches something we should learnt from this situation eargerly. The struggle you’re in today is developing the strength
you need for tomorrow Life is like a book. ‘’Some chapters are sad ,some are happy, and some are exciting, But if you never turn the page , you will never know what the next chapter holds.’’ “When we face the worst that can happen in any situation , we grow. When circumstances are at their worst. We can find our best.” BE THE FIGHTERS IN THE LIFE. STRUGGLE MORE TO ACHIEVE WHAT YOU WANT AND BEAR THE SWEET FRUITS OF YOUR SUCCESS.
HOW TO STOP BEING DAZED AND CONFUSED ABOUT YOUR FUTURE TUSHAR GUPTA, SE A E&TC The future may seem scary sometimes, leaving many of us dazed and confused. Especially if you’re not sure where you’re going, are living by someone else’s standards, or are a perfectionist. Are you confused about your future? However, it doesn’t need to be like that. Life happens in the present, and if we learn how to make the most of it and even work on building a better future today, we can live happily and go after our goals. Then, what might happen tomorrow won’t be scary anymore, as we’re doing our best and enjoying every moment at the same time. What you need to overcome that fear and confusion about the future is clarity. Here are a few easy ways to find it and start creating your ideal lifestyle today. For more inspiration, check out our collection of confused quotes about the ups and downs of life. How to stop being confused about your next steps in life 1. Understand that it’s alright not to know. Uncertainty isn’t a bad thing. It’s part of life and we should accept it and learn to live with it. Otherwise, life can be a constant struggle. You don’t need to know what tomorrow will look like. What you have is this day, so focus on it, make the most of it, and let life decide what will happen next. 2. Trust the natural flow. Not only should you let things be sometimes, but you should also learn to go with them, to trust that the universe knows what’s right for you. 3. Stop imagining the worst. The scenarios you’re playing in your head are an illusion. In this case, not
knowing what lies in store is a good thing, as there’s a big chance it will be something great. Don’t let negativity, doubts and fear of failure prevent you from living life to the fullest. Leave them behind. 4. Get back to the present moment. Practice mindfulness and start living consciously by letting go of the past and future. Life is right here, in this beautiful moment. The best you can do is to enjoy it, do things you love, be with people you care about and dedicate time only to meaningful things that will give you results. Anything else is not important.

LGBT AWARENESS ADITYA MOGARE, SE B COMP Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender. Over the past decade, LGBT people have gained more tolerance and acceptance in India, especially in the big cities. Nevertheless, many LGBT people in India remain incarcerated, fearing discrimination in their families, who may view homosexuality as a disgrace. Discrimination still exists in rural areas, where LGBT people often face rejection by their families and forced marriage of the opposite sex. People in the LGBT community are fighting for equal rights and recognition. The people of Trans, in particular, face many difficulties in gaining acceptance. People in the LGBT community are constantly looked down upon. This is a big problem because discrimination against LGBT people is so widespread. Being L, G, B or T is not a ‘problem’, nor is it a ‘option’ as such. LGBT people are just people who love sex that is different from what may seem ‘normal’, because of the different behaviors learned and, you know, have a different personal perspective and mindset for everyone. That it is wrong for people to have different sexual orientations is wrong in itself. Article 15 of our Constitution of India Article 15, 1949 15. Prohibition of discrimination on the basis of religion, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation or birthplace. If ordinary men and women have the right to live in this community with dignity then why not a LGBT person can live in this community with dignity. It is not about what our religion says about humanity ... When we talk about religion in the Hindu context King Rama had given a blessing to the hijras for their sincerity which is why the curse or hijras blessing means a lot to the common people. India is a large and diverse country and attitudes towards this topic and the knowledge of LGBTQ people vary greatly. The differences between the urban and rural areas of India, language, class, class, and gender add complexity to fully understanding this topic. But what we do know is that LGBT Indians are not a “minority”. They have a strong voice and do not want peace in their efforts to restore order. So with Section 377 gone, what is the way forward? Today we celebrate International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia. May 17 was specifically chosen to commemorate the 1990 World Health Organization's decision to ban homosexuality as a mental disorder. The day received official recognition from a number of states, international institutions such as the European Parliament, and countless local authorities.
You take the lead in practice every day when you work close to LGBT people when you march together in Pride, where you take steps that involve every LGBT person and refuse to laugh at the homophobic-transphobic jokes that erupt in canteens . It gives everyone hope that the inclusive India we dream of tomorrow already exists today .
FIGHTING WITH CANCER YASH KALE, SE B COMP Cancer, is one of many diseases that humanity has yet to find a cure for which can completely assure that the illness is out of the human system and terminated for good. Not a personalized experience but people can get idea about the dreadfulness of the disease even if someone in their vicinity has it. It’s a word of mouth soon, terrifying those who hear the frightening experiences and the pain that follows through. One such story is of an old woman living alone, although not that old but around the age of 65. Due to some unfortunate events in her earlier life she had been cut off from her son, who did stay nearby but weren’t on talking terms. Her daughter was married of to someone in a distant city whom she just had a conversation merely on phone calls. The elderly in our society believe that the only need to go and visit a doctor is when the conditions do get bad down to a severe level, otherwise they are good enough to get well on their own. Well that resulted in a certain condition getting out of hand. An illness which was always there but got activated later in life, the old woman had frequent encounter with severe mental, illness body aches, fainting and other sorts of indications that tell a person that they are not well. The old woman despite all of these things that she was going through, from the past she faced didn’t want to be burden on anyone the last person that she wanted to tell her suffering was her own daughter living far aside. Days went buy and the condition worsened, the tumor kept on growing and the pain was all time high. Surprisingly the daughter and granddaughter decided to pay a surprise visit, unknowing of the fact that the old lady was indeed in a condition where she actually needed someone. Among all of these days, constant batters back and fro between the son and the old lady kept on happening instead acting as fuel in the fire of deteriorating her health. The two women noticed the different weak behavior displayed by their beloved and they took the old lady to the nearest multispecialty hospital, in which the saddened truth was now out there, the old lady had a big tumor inside her head and she was a patient of leukemia or cancer. The surprise of joy was suddenly turned into a nightmare for the daughter and the daughter in law. Clueless indeed, they had an appointment with the best doctors in the city, everyone one of which suggested that she should be moved under care to the nearest bigger city, coincidently the very own city that her daughter’s lived in. People in this world believe that money and blood bond are one of the few most important things which are dearest to a person but the further part is going to make the readers question this. The least expected twist in the families of this country, to everyone’s surprised when the son in law got to know about the situation he acted on the situation like her own son should’ve acted but unfortunately that’s not the case. Disregarding all the costs, his responsibilities at work the son in law travelled to the old
woman’s city and himself along with his wife and daughter bought the old lady to the city they lived in. Bearing all the costs he didn’t even think about consulting all the specialized docters in the city ten times more expensive than that of the previous one and finally the found out about a treatment procedure, although expensive but this family didn’t care about how much money they had to put, their emotions were way to powerful to be compared to some material thing like money, treatment started not without complications but it did. People will believe you blindly putting all their faith inside you but it’s important for you to have faith in yourself. Daughter prayed everyday and made sure there is not a single thing that she is not doing to aid her mother, son in law did everything in his power contacting people with similar experiences, doctors while juggling his work and keeping his family positive throughout all of this, meanwhile the daughter did all the house chores, attended her college and even studied for upcoming entrance examinations held a week later. The only thing now was that the old lady’s motivation to live and the family had proven that she had a reason to continue going on no matter how hard the path is. Even though she didn’t have her blood son concerned for her she had her son in law concerned even more than what a blood relative will ever be, her daughter trying to do everything in her hand to make her feel relieved and her granddaughter handling all the rest things on her own are enough reasons for the old lady to have a reason to continue going. The two sides of the coin were that if the old lady wasn’t strong enough, she would have not survived the procedure, and it was speculated that it would be a big deal if she did survive. Although to everyone’ surprise she did survive through the procedure and she found her health to be retrieving, the cancer was in remission and yes the old lady got more years to live, but the most important thing is that she got two other important things, she realized that she wasn’t a burden no matter what her past had made her believe, and that it’s not necessary for blood relatives only to have a care or concern towards someone as we can clearly see.
