Apply Formula 1 to the first 1” of re-growth, as well as the shortest area of the design on the sides and back of the head.2. Apply Formula 2 through the ends.3. Starting in the front, take 1” squares, and divide in half. Overlay Formula 1 over Formula 2 to mid-lengths and ends.4. Merge the 1” square by twisting the 2 sections together.5. Continue this through the remaining hair.6. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rinse, cleanse and condition with Healing ColorCare Shampoo and Conditioner.

KIMBERLY | Beauty Is...FREECUT1. Section hair along parietal ridge, dropping below crown in the back.2. Scissor-over-comb horizontally underneath parietal ridge. Use clipper- over-comb vertically to perfect tapering.3. Divide hair above parietal ridge into 4 sections, at the top of the head, just above the ear as the axis point. Note: There should be larger sections in front.4. Work each quadrant separately, using pie-shaped sections. Elevate 1” sections straight up and point cut from short to long. Use a traveling guide to cut all four sections.5. Apply tape from the left corner of nape to 1” above right ear. Create a strong line above tape with clipper. Continue with a freehand clipper-cut, maintaining a strong line to the front. Optional: Lay tape on opposite side for symmetrical result6. Comb all hair down at natural fall, and freehand cut design line.

Divide the head in half by parting from center front to center back.2. Starting on the right side, gather fine sections into a ponytail at the base of the center front fringe area. *TIP: Take small sections to ensure hair stays smooth, allowing for optimal color distribution.3. Repeat on the left side of the head until you have 2 ponytails side by side, in the center front fringe area.4. Sub-section each ponytail using fine partings, applying the Decolorizer Formula from the base of the ponytails to the ends, slightly blurring at the top of each subsection. *TIP: Using the L’ANZA Color Board will ensure proper lift and saturation.5. Process until the hair reaches the desired lightness. Rinse, cleanse, and condition the hair with Healing ColorCare Shampoo and Conditioner. Blow-dry the hair completely.6. Finish by glazing the ponytails with the Glaze Formula. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rinse, cleanse and condition with Healing ColorCare Shampoo and Conditioner.

YULIYA | Beauty Is...FREECUT1. Start with a center part forehead to nape. Apply guide tape in a V-shape.2. Take diagonal sections from a middle part, and comb hair straight. Match cutting and section angles. Repeat on opposite side.3. Continue taking diagonal sections and cut to guide.4. Create a parting at the parietal ridge. Clip out of the way. Gently back-comb section, then create texture with point-cutting. Continue taking 1” sections, working around the head. Direct front sections forward and point cut.

Start at the left front hairline. Create a V-shaped section below the natural part line, approximately 1” – 1 ½” in thickness, extending to the crown, and isolate with a clip.2. Using the L’ANZA Color Board, take ¼” sliced subsections and apply the Decolorizer Formula from re-growth to ends, using back-to-back foils. Be sure to fully saturate the hair for even lift.3. Apply the Medium Beauty Bath Formula to the rest of the hair outside the foiled “V” section. Be sure to keep at least 1” away from the re-growth.4. Process at room temperature until desired lift is achieved. Rinse, cleanse, and condition with Healing ColorCare Shampoo & Conditioner.5. Blow-dry the hair completely, isolating the “V” section.6. Beginning on the right side, apply VIBES Violet to the first diagonal subsection over the pre-lightened area and isolate with a foil. Next, apply VIBES Teal to the following diagonal subsection. Continue to alternate the 2 colors throughout the rest of the head, leaving out the “V” section.7. Apply Formula 1 to the pre-lightened area of the “V” section. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rinse, cleanse, and condition with Healing ColorCare Shampoo and Conditioner.

SELA | Beauty Is...FREECUT 1. Section hair 1” above ear, around the head, and to the nape. Next, section from parietal ridge and sub-divide front/back on both sides. Then take a triangular section at the front, and divide hair at the crown into two subsections. 2. In the fringe area, take a small sub-section ½” – 1” back from the hairline. Make deep point-cuts to create maximum texture. Pull down the rest of fringe section. Using the longest point as your guide, razor cut. 3. Connect side section with fringe, creating a “C” shape. 4. Take a 1” parting from fringe to top of the crown. Using the fringe as your guide, elevate straight up and cut in a scooping motion, parallel to the floor. Cut in scooping motion with razor. 5. With the same motion in Step 4, take hair from initial parting to parietal ridge, and comb straight out from head. Cut with same scooping motion. Pivot around head, and continue cutting 1” sections. 6. Next, comb down all sections and remove ends with soft texture.

Pre-lighten re-growth and mid-shift area using Decolorizer Formula. Also, prepare and apply the Medium Beauty Bath Formula to the ends only.2. Process at room temperature until the hair has reached a Level 9, Lightest Blonde. Shampoo using L’ANZA Healing ColorCare Shampoo, and blow-dry the hair completely.3. Isolate the fringe area by parting from the corner of each eye, to the high point of the head. Section with a clip.4. Divide head in half from the high point to center back, at the base of the nape.5. Taking ¼” diagonal back sections, apply Formula 1 to the first 1” of the nape area, from scalp to ends. Be sure to properly saturate the hair for even deposit.6. Next, apply 1” to ½” blocks, slightly overlapping Formula 1, 2, and 3 through the mid-lengths and ends.7. After color is applied through each subsection, take one L’ANZA Color Film, and apply to top of the hair. Press down to blur the 3 formulas together.8. Continue taking fine, diagonal back subsections, using foils and L’ANZA color films to isolate each color area, until you reach the fringe.9. In the fringe area, apply Formula 1 from scalp to ends, taking fine sections to ensure proper saturation. On the last 1” of the ends, apply Formula 2 over the top of Formula 1 to create more depth and slightly blur together.10. Process at room temperature for 20 minutes. Rinse, cleanse, and condition with Healing ColorCare Shampoo and Conditioner.

ZILLA | Beauty Is...FREECUT1. Create 4 sections, and cut a straight line at the back.2. Pull the hair beside backwards, and cut a straight line. Make the connection with the back. When you comb hair down it will be at a soft, diagonal forward.3. Create a triangle for the fringe, using two combs to lock the hair. Twist the comb and cut triangular notches.4. Elevate sections above parietal ridge straight up, and cut after twisting.5. Continue elevating sections at sides and back, cutting parallel to the floor. Do not cut perimeter.6. On dry hair, point-cut the hair to texturize, wherever necessary.
