Hewasbornon14March1879inUlm, Germany,toasecular,middle-classfamilyHis fatherwasHermannEinstein,andhismother wasPaulineKoch.Hisfatherwasafeatherbed salesman,andlaterherananelectrochemical factorywithmoderatesuccess.Hismother thoughtAlbertwasafreak.Whenhewastwo- and-ahalfyearsoldhestillwasn’ttalking.When hefinallydidlearntospeak,heuttered everythingtwice.Aheadmasteronceeventold hisfatherthatwhatEinsteinchoseasa professionwouldn’tmatter,because“he’llnever makeasuccessatanything.”AlbertEinstein

Einsteinbeganlearningtoplaytheviolinatthe ageofsix,becausehismotherwantedhim to; helaterbecameagiftedamateurviolinist, maintainingthisskillthroughouthislife.
AlbertEinsteinwouldwritethatinhisearly years,twowondersdeeplyaffectedhim.The firstwashisencounterwiththecompass.At thattime,hewasfiveyearsold.Hewaspuzzled thatinvisibleforcescoulddeflecttheneedle. Andthesecondonewaswhenhediscovereda bookofgeometryattheageof12andcalledit his\"sacredlittlegeometrybook\". HisfamilymovedtoMunich,wherehestarted
hisschoolingattheLuitpoldGymnasium.Later, hisparentsmovedtoItaly,wherehecontinued hiseducationatArau,Switzerland.Hewentto theSwissFederalPolytechnicSchoolinZurich in1896.There,hewastrainedasateacherin physicsandmathematics.In1901,Albert gainedhisdiplomaandacquiredSwiss citizenship.Atthattime,hedidn'tgetthe teachingpost,buthetookapositionasa technicalassistantintheSwissPatentOffice. Hegainedhisdoctor'sdegreein1905. Oneofthefamouspapersof1905was Einstein’sSpecialTheoryofRelativity,From this followedtheworld’smostfamousformula whichdescribestherelationshipbetweenmass andenergy: E=mc2 Einsteinwashighlygiftedinmathematicsand
interestedinphysics,andafterfinishingschool, hedecidedtostudyatauniversityinZurich.He alsofeltaspecialinterestinafellowstudent, MilevaMaric,whom hefoundtobea“clever creature.”ThisyoungSerbhadcometo SwitzerlandbecausetheUniversityinZurich wasoneofthefewinEuropewherewomen couldgetdegrees.Thecouplefellinlove. Letterssurviveinwhichtheyputtheiraffection intowords. Hewasalwaysinterestedinsolvingthe problemsofphysicsandalsohadaclearview anddeterminationtosolvethem.Hemadehis strategyhisownandwasabletovisualisethe mainstagesonthewaytohisgoal.Infact,he sawhiscriticalachievementsasmerelyone moresteptowardthenextlevelof advancement. IntheSwissPatentOffice,whenhegotspare
time,heproducedmuchofhisremarkablework. HewasappointedPrivatdozentinBernein1908. HebecameProfessorExtraordinaryatZurichin 1909andProfessorofTheoreticalPhysicsat Praguein1911.Inthefollowingyear,he returnedtoZurichtofillasimilarpost. HewasalsoappointedDirectoroftheKaiser Wilhelm PhysicalInstitutein1914and ProfessorattheUniversityofBerlin.In1914,he becameacitizenofGermanyandremainedin Berlinuntil1933.In1940,hebecameaUnited Statescitizenandretiredfrom hispostin1945. AlbertEinsteinmarriedMilevaMaricin1903. Thecouplehadadaughterandtwosons.In 1919,theydivorced.
Inthesameyear,Albertmarriedhiscousin,Elsa Lowenthal,whodiedin1936.
AlbertEinsteinwasaleadingfigureintheWorld GovernmentMovementafterWorldWarII.He wasalsoofferedthePresidencyoftheStateof Israel,buthedeclineditstatingthathelacked thenaturalaptitudeandtheexperiencetodeal withpeopleandhewastoooldtoexecutea
roleinpublicoffice. ANobelPrizewasawardedforthediscoveryof Bose-Einsteincondensatesin1995. AlbertEinsteindidmanymoremoreimportant worksthroughouthislifelike-SpecialTheoryof Relativity,InvestigationsonTheoryofBrownian Movement,TheEvolutionofPhysics,Why War?,MyPhilosophyandmanymore.forwhich hewasalsoawardedwithmanyprestigious awardslike-BarnardMedal,NobelPrizein Physics,MatteucciMedal,MaxPlanckMedal andmanymore. Unfortunately,EinsteindiedinApril1955inthe ageof76from anabdominalaorticaneurysm. Hehadrequestedthathisbodybecremated, butinabizarreincident,Princetonpathologist ThomasHarveyremovedhisfamousbrain duringhisautopsyandkeptitinthehopeof unlockingthesecretsofhisgenius.
