The Journey of life starts with turning of a Page Dear Readers, I welcome you to the alluring and magnificient world created by the blossoms of our Vidyalaya. The budding and flowering minds of our Vidyalaya have created a realm of imaginations, issues and experiences through beauty of words. Students have put forth their ideas and thoughts that are too deep to be expressed and too strong to be suppressed. This magazine is not a bunch of papers only. The words in it have a great and varied significance. It is well said by Aristotle, \"Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.\" It has been a pleasure shaping and sewing up the creative ideas of my mates. As the saying goes, \"It is a blessing to have ability but the ability to discover ability in others is its true test.\" Going through all the articles has been an eye opener and learning experience for me. I have strived to follow the principle of Rogena Jones, \"We edit your words, your writing, your sentences and paragraphs... but never your voice.\" I am really thankful to my respected teachers for entrusting me with the responsibility of editing the magazine. I feel proud to contribute towards the magazine of such a reputed institution. I assure you will enjoy the positive and sustained attitude, hard work and innovative ideas of the blooming buds. I heartly wish all my readers Happy Reading! Hope you cherish our efforts. Thank you! - Livisha - XI-D

Lockdown’s Impact on Wildlife The Covid-19 has probably been one of the worst phenomena to impact humans in the last few years. With a total of 17.6 million confirmed cases and 679 thousand deaths, it has really brought grief and terror to all parts of the world. As humanity continues its struggles against this disaster, one can’t help but wonder how other organisms have been handling this catastrophe. This period of reduced human mobility is referred to as “anthropause” Social media recently seems to be filled with surprising encounters of animals in unusual places. Some of the most surprising ones include, a Puma stalking the streets of Santiago, Chile, and Dolphins returning to Italian waters. This may seem like a victory for nature but, for certain animals it hasn’t been so good. City-living animals such as dogs, cats and monkeys have been struggling for their daily meals. They were largely dependent on human donations. Due to the lockdown, endangered animals may be more vulnerable to poaching as forest officials may not be fully present at all times. While, building a vaccine is essential for humans, we may utilise this time by researching to what extent human mobility actually impacts wildlife. This may be a huge benefit to people working in animal conservation. - Shantanu - 11-A

MEMORIES TO CHERISH! I got admission in this Vidyalaya back in the year 2014 in 7th standard. Being chosen as the class monitor for consecutive 4 years to becoming my House Captain and finally being appointed as the editor of the School Magazine, the journey of these 6 years has been a beautiful one. I will miss each and everything about my school. The Morning Assembly where United we stood, but an arm's length apart. Those infuriating longest last 10 minutes of boring periods. The playground, the library, the computer lab each room of this building has a separate story attached with it. I am a firm believer of destiny and hard work. I know for a fact that opportunities never knock twice and you never know how perfect something could turn out to be. I am thankful for all the opportunities that came my way, due to seizing all the moments where I got the chance to be a part of, I made my best memory from my school which is when I got the

privilege of being awarded by our honorable minister of women and child development Mrs. Smriti Irani Ma'am. I was announced the first position holder of the exam, with Neha of class 12th at second and Gayatri of class 11th-D at third one respectively. It was such a moment to be sharing stage with her along with two runner ups, my class teacher and our school principal. The event became more special because none of the schools came to collect the prizes, were aware of the fact that she would be attending the event as the chief guest. It was a pleasant surprise for all of us and this particular memory is very close to my heart. I would also like to thank all the teachers who have supported me in expected or unexpected forms although I have been every teacher's favourite and everyone has always been considerate towards me. But I am surely going to mention one name that has consistently supported me all these years. Mrs. Neha Agnihotri Ma'am. she was my class teacher in class 9th and 10th although she didn't teach me in my later years, although I

didn't go and meet her every single day, but I know for a fact that she is someone who always has my back. All the love and support that she has given to me is immense and would be unforgettable from my side! Thank you!!! - FIZA - 12th D Feather and Hurdles 2016, that was the year when I set foot in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sec-12. New surroundings, new people, new rites and new beginnings, everything seemed to have started from a fresh leaf. It was honestly a bit strenuous to adapt to these new surroundings at first, but I had some of the most benevolent and considerate teachers to guide me along. Just like there are times when flowers blossom, spreading their resplendent fragrance, there are also times when they wither and become dormant. In 10th standard, I had to go through some lows and melancholies took over me. My class teacher, Preeti Kamal Ma'am stood by me like a pillar and helped me get back on my feet. I scored 97.6% in 10th, which would never have been possible if my teacher wouldn't have been with me and motivated me at the right time. I have had the reputation of a nerd for a long, but I could never imagine that one day I would be announced as the topper of Delhi region. It was not even a dream come true, because I never had such dream. Everyone kept asking before the results were out that how much I expected. My answer was always the same, that I didn't expect anything. I kept focusing

on working hard, sowing the seeds with utmost diligence so that the fruit will be a testament of my blood, sweat and tears. I jumped over hurdles, and I've had the opportunity to add feathers to my cap, as well as my school's and my parents'. You and I Make \"our society\" - Anuj Kumar - XI-D TRIP TO BHOPAL For me it was the first time when I was going to present my exhibit at national level NCSC Competition that was going to be held at Bhopal. In class 9th I had started this journey when my brother asked me to participate in science exhibition. At that time, my guide teacher was Mrs. Shadhna Jain mam and she continued to be my guide teacher in class 10th also. This was my second chance when I was going to present myself at the platform of regional level NCSC competition. I and my team members worked continuously to transform this chance into a glory, under the brilliant and outstanding guidance of Mrs. Sadhna Jain mam. After the successful completion at regional level and getting the golden chance of representing my exhibit at the National Level NCSC Competition, doubled the pleasure of my guide teacher and my team members. On 23 November I left my home to join the other achievers of Delhi region, to represent the exhibit at the national level NCSC Competition. The nervousness that I felt that day can’t be expressed in words. For the first time I was going to represent my school at national level. That was a golden opportunity for me. We had to stay at Kendriya Vidyalaya Sector 8 SPG, where I got a chance to meet our former vice principal, who is now the

principal of that school. This experience would be incomplete without talking about the cooperation and help rendered by Mr. Rajesh sir our escort teacher. We had a train scheduled for the next day so I left the bed at 4:00AM. Then we had a breakfast and left for Delhi railway station where we boarded the scheduled train in order to reach Bhopal. Buses came to pick up the students from Bhopal junction. It was about 2:00 PM and we reached the school where our stay was planned. Next day I got up early as I couldn’t sleep for whole night in order to revise the components of my machine and to check it’s working once more. Same day I had to represent my machine as well as my school. After having my lunch I went to exhibit my model. I tried my best to explain my model. The next day, I with other students went to visit the Science Museum. That was an amazing experience to me. The much awaited moment came when the result was declared but I got none of the position in my hands to grasp it. After the result ceremony, we had our dinner and then boarded the train at night and returned to Delhi. For me that was an overwhelming experience and unlike other experiences it gives me the patience and the reason to say “TRY ONCE MORE; LIFE WILL GIVE YOU A SECOND CHANCE.” - Brijesh Kumar Singh - X-C

Be Human Why Castism and Racism? In the period of technology and science, people still believe in concept of racism and castism. These ideas are unscientific. In this contemporary world, where science is inevitable, people still judge each other by glance and appearance. Many people think that white is pure mind whereas others are not. Everyone should appreciate the truth that beauty lies within the red not white, I mean in heart, not skin colour. Primarily, our society teaches us incorrect definition of \"beauty\". From here the concept emerged. Beauty lies within a person's attitudes, thoughts, actions and behaviour. Today, in this unpleasant and hypocrite world, we should stand together against this colour and ethnic discrimination to make everyone feel comfortable and enjoyable in which no one knows meaning of words like colour or race. If we speak on castism, it is holding Indian society in its grips. Caste system has been carried through Vedic age, till now we all are responsible for it. Let's break the chain. We cannot spot caste but we can see humans. This is totally baseless ideology. One who is following it is dividing humanity and the whole world. Our supreme view should be humanity which will bring happiness on millions of faces. We can make this world a better place to live if we delete such words like castism and racism from our heart's vocabulary. - Livisha - XI-D

Procrastination 'I wish, I had started it earlier' We all may have gone through this thought at least once. We are well aware of our habit of putting our work for tomorrow then that work goes for day after tomorrow and it goes on till the deadline arrives. The last panic gets us the work done what we were supposed to do a week ago. The term used for this behavior is called 'Procrastination'. Who else knows it better than we students time. But what we will do if we have no deadline? When it comes for career and work for it there is no deadline for that people who wait for the last moment and don't work hard, end up doing nothing. So better to wake up and work for your goals from today as \"You may delay, but time will not!\" - Riya Singh - 11-D

My Mother She is a simple woman With some superpowers I am unable to comprehend From where does she get it She knows my heart's state, By looking on my face. I frequently meet some difficulties In my life, But she has solutions that Are entirely right. Sometimes I break my confidence So she teaches me, The chapter of reliance. She is adorable Always tries to make me happy when I attain something, she makes the environment clappy. I love the touch of her palm which always makes me calm. She is a simple woman, but has some superpowers when I indulgence myself in society's mud she cleans me up by her tender showers. She often scolds me, but once told me I am your \"mother\" there is nothing to bother.

She is a simple woman with some superpowers I love to be with her, as I cannot live without her for a single hour. - Livisha - XI-D SELF-CONFIDENCE Do you ever feel like you have zero self-confidence? It happens all the time to most of us.It seems like everyone is building billion-dollar businesses, becoming YouTube stars, or making it big on Instagram.Whether you want money, fame, travel, or none of that stuff, it doesn’t matter because it always comes down to this: How confident are you? Research even shows that lack of self-confidence is associated with depression, loneliness and feeling left out, lower academic achievement, lower life satisfaction. So you become more self-confident if you become better at what you do. That’s the system, and it’s backed by research. If we process this, it includes improving your competencies, putting them into practice, seeing results, growing more confident and repeating it. At last I would like to say that, “Nothing builds self-esteem and self- confidence like accomplishment.” - Abhishek Swami - XII-D

Self-Assessment is key to Happiness Self- perception is the way we think of ourselves. It includes the way we look; we talk, we walk and do anything! Unfortunately, a big problem with teens is that their self-perception is very poor. In other words, they often underestimate themselves! They don’t know their true potential. So, if you think that this is the problem, then you need to change it! For that make a list of all your habits and attributes that people appreciate. It can be your smile, personality, good looks, ability to make friends easily, special talent or anything else. Once you have the list in front of yourself, read it and try to realize that there is something special in you for which people appreciate you. Everyone has something special and so do you! All you need to do is to realize and change your weakened self- perception. Once you initiate, the world will seem to be a better place to live. Forget your flaws for a while! The key here is to love yourself intensely that you will not even have enough time to think about the negative things. But the reality is that no- one is perfect. We all have flaws and the solution to accept our flaws is to love our strong points. After realizing your own flaws, you will have a sense of gratitude towards life. Not only you will love yourself but also others. - Ayushi Palak - XI-B

Hey India! It’s Republic Day And you have travelled a long way, You have been walking and walking, And didn’t bother what others are talking. But now you have to run, run fast, And make sure you don’t forget the past. The past is gone, But now that you have grown, You have to work, work hard, And don’t worry, as we are your guard. We will protect you, From the odds that can hurt you. We loved you, We love you, And will love you forever, And we promise that our love for you will fade never. - Sayan Deep Bag - X-B

An Evening with the Crow Sanguine sky with speckles of coral, Dismal dusk got blazing bright. I sat beneath the autumn tree An ebony bird, only one in sight Perched on the ground, gazing at me. As I did too, with wonder How such an alluring creature Can be so dreaded, so despised? By children and adults alike. As it squawked and pulled me out Of my imagination. But alas! I was thinking again, Why must I be so aware? Of beauty that others beware. I felt a serene stillness in the Feathery aura of the crow. Its plumage holding tiny Pearls of dew Visible only to my curious eyes. Its raspy voice, a one of a kind. I found comfort in an alone, lonely crow It came to join me in my quiet evening. Cheering me up, strangely, with its Beady, liquid eyes. But time bounds us both, And we must return To our lives, that will certainly Not be the same, from now. For I have seen such a Heavenly being up close, One, who is banished from heaven For its mysterious beauty.

As it took to the air, I saw a streak of night Fluttering among the ruby clouds. And heard only A loud silence, Hush. Neha Pokhriyal XI-B SECURITY: from the eye of a Hacker TECHNOLOGY...., yes you read it right. TECHNOLOGY, The most marvelous thing we have ever seen through, which is enhancing many lives and making our day to day life kind and easy. But from the word enhancing, did somebody forget to tell you that some of the enhanced minds have most of the technology inside their head having bad instinct in them and they are very keen to get into your personal social media handles, bank accounts, and many other things you won't likely to share with anyone. PRIVACY, if this isn't an issue for you, it should be. A lot of people take the pew of \"I don't do anything wrong, therefore I have nothing to hide.\" however that is largely misinterpreted. You have everything to hide, So many apps, websites and services we use online today host a repertory of data about their users, and you know they're a goldmine for malicious practitioners or cybercriminals. Cybercriminals have every reason to get into your network life or can say \"where your most of day \" spent. At this point you maybe have a question in your mind-What will they do by getting into your device or system? - Let me tell you, some of them will be into your device just to spy you, BUT , some of them will be there to sell all your basic information from Credit card info's to your Gaming ID's, which is the most demanded buying option nowadays, and anyone will buy it blindly, if sold in DARK particularity. Most of the people are getting their income by streaming game, and if they are getting games in cheaper price tag and all

levels unlocked. They must be finding it a gem of a thing. This makes all malicious hackers to be active in seeking all gamer tags through many virus or worm attacks, and they are getting what they are in need. WHAT WILL STOP THEM FROM GETTING INTO YOUR DEVICES? See, I have a simple and very basic answer which most of the youth is very much heard of, but not been following any point of it…So just reminding some of them: <1> Never open any in-built message link if it is not from any authorized or verified sender, <2> Follow the same point as first in Emails too, <3> Don't install or buy any Antivirus or VPN's (They do store every data, and can use in any way possible.) until or unless it is paid or from an authorized billable (Now data breaches are more often and most of the cybercriminals or malicious practitioners target companies in order to obtain as much data as possible about an individual.) <4> Be the hacker (ethically) yourself, nobody will hack you, or just have the knowledge to prevent any hacks. <5> Using strong passwords is the best way to hope to not get hacked (Strong passwords are very time consuming to crack). <6> Updatation of software frequently is the best way to keep the cybercriminals away, as they use this to gain access to your system by driving some explits or flaws. Knowing things in security side doesn’t mean you have to be some company's security analyst, or something that is very fascinating to spell, it's just a basic thing that everybody should get acknowledge of. SCAMMERS, yeah SCAMMERS again.. They are the most annoyed but yet so many people fall for them. Scammers are the bottom of the barrel of internet criminals, and yeah online scams take hardly any skills to execute. You can find online scams everywhere today, from social media platforms to our private or personal email accounts.

We have drawn our most of the focus on Mobile protection, as there are many threats on the mobile if compared with computers. With the popularity of smartphones and tablets on the rise, they are becoming more of a target to cybercriminals. Since we are starting to use our smaller devices as we would a desktop or laptop.. More of our personal data is stored on these devices and cyber thieves are taking notice, what we have to do is just to arm ourselves with a little bit of knowledge of CYBERSECURITY and its laws. Most of the basic way to get into devices are through MALWARE, you hear that term everywhere, however it can mean so many things, Malware is more of an umbrella term used for any kind of malicious software on the internet - from annoying adware to devastating ransom ware. Just a one click on any of it ..and you are done!! (only if that malware contains any kind of self-made worms.) Touching or getting into some random ads is the most foolish thing you will do, if you give a damn about your devices or for your privacy. What we can do is: Just avoid the things that are showing and are not meant to be shown, Or just learn how they do.. And do the opposite by having a consortium of 36 aligned networks (the most legal way to prevent attacks). You cannot beat a hacker if you don't have the same kind of resources as he/she do, and top most cybercriminals do owns devices that worth millions of dollars. Even cyber cell departments’ don’t have their machine- run seen. Cyber cell uses aligned networks to prevent malicious attacks. IN THIS ARTICLE I HAVE JUST MENTIONED SOME BASIC THINGS THE MOST CYBERCRIMINALS DO, AND SOME WAYS TO PREVENT OR AVOID THEM, HOPE YOU ALL UNDERSTAND!! - AAJITYA - XI-D

CRIMES IN LOCKDOWN (ESPECIALLY AGAINST WOMEN) Today, we all know about the pandemic of Coronavirus, its symptoms, results if someone gets infected, and hence taking precautions. Corona virus affects physically and effects mentally to some extent. When someone recovers from corona, it's like he/she gets a new life. We know that due to this pandemic, there was a lockdown in the country. We were safe from Corona, but just think about the crimes once, which are there from centuries, especially against women. ● In the lockdown, Karnataka witnessed a significant drop in accidents, burglary and other crimes. According to the data, over 1,500 cases of crimes against women were reported in the state between March 24 & May 30. Total rape cases were 64, and 38 dowry cases. ● In Haryana, there was a rise of 78% in crimes against women. This is the condition of the whole India. Many molestation cases have been reported in India but there are also many cases which are not even reported. If a woman is harassed by a guy, then the one who is slandered is the women (victim)...by this poor minded society. But why??!! Did she do anything wrong?? When a woman becomes a victim, then this so-called society blames her without even thinking anything, points out at her character. But why?!? Just for their so- called respect?! What is the benefit of this respect which ruins her life?!! I just have a question to the rapists- Have they bought a woman's /girl's life??!! Is she their toy?!! According to me, the RAPISTS SHOULD SHOOT AT SIGHT. Those who still have backward thinking and poor mentality should also be punished as this mentality cuts the throat of a woman's many wishes & dreams and leads to the hindrance of the growth of India. They don't have any right to play with someone's life. Even animals are better than humans. Within the lockdown, we were safe from corona, but the mentality & criminal virus was at its peak. These rapes, molestations against women disturbs the soul of her. Every victim should raise her voice against these crimes and the government should take very strict & serious actions against these rascals. Remember, your silence will ruin others' lives also. It will strengthen the will of these criminals. So raise your voice against them.

When we are aware and behave strongly only then we can make India a beautiful and strong country. POOR MENTALITY IS A POISONOUS ROOT WHICH LEADS TO INCREASE IN CRIMES. IT SHOULD BE REMOVED. CRIMINALS SHOULD BE PUNISHED SO THAT NOONE CAN HAVE A SINGLE THOUGHT OF CRIME - Gauri Arora - XII C SHRI RAM TEMPLE IN AYODHYA- AN EPITOME OF HINDUS’ On 5th August 2020, our honorable prime minister shri Narendra Modi, laid down the foundation stone for the construction of new Shri Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. This temple is set to be the third largest Hindu temple in the world after Angkor wat in Cambodia and Shri Rangnath swami temple in Tamil Nadu. Its complex will be approximately 280 feet wide, 300 feet long and 161 feet tall. Shri Ram Janambhumi Teertha kshetra trust has been given a green signal to modifications in size and design of the existing model. Its architects Nikhil and Ashish Sompura, son of the project’s chief architect Chandrakant Sompura will draw and modify design of the temple. The temple would be a three storey structure. The overall area of the complex would be 100-120 acres. In 1528, the Mughals erected a mosque on the site, called the Babari masjid. Disputes over the rightful use of the site resulted in multiple protests since 1850s. A crowd of Hindu protesters demolished the mosque in 1992. Thus, on 9th Nov’ 2019 the Supreme Court of India hearing the land dispute case of Ram Janambhumi and Babari Masjid, in a unanimous judgment the court has ruled in favour of Ram mandir and ordered that entire disputed land of 2.77 acres to be allocated for construction of a grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya.

The Court also directed the government to allocate five acres of land in Ayodhya to Sunni Central Waqf board for constructions of Mosque and to form a board of trustees to build Shri Ram Temple. Construction of the temple will be completed within three years. Needless to mention, that this temple will change the face of tourism of the state and the country, because followers of Lord Shri Ram are in the whole world. - ANJISTHA SINGH - VIII-D Full form of Kendriya Vidyalaya K - Kindness E - Efficiency N- Nationality D - Discipline R - Respect I - identity of your own Y - Youthfulness A - Academic excellence V - Victory of the god I - Intelligence D - Devotion Y - Young children A - Attentive learning L - Loyalty toward k.v. My definition of art Every time I sit to draw something new, new expectation, spirit of creating better flashes in my mind. Every single stroke is precious and a memory itself. Every single brush stroke reminds me of the mistakes I made earlier. Knowing that nothing is perfect, I struggle to meet the creation I imagined in my mind. You can never make a mistake in art; rather it’s a happy accident which is a Lesson to learn. Art is a therapy, a process in which you feel relaxed and calm. Transforming a blank paper into a full-fledged piece of art is an enjoyable Journey. Expressing your feelings in the way of art is an achievement because sometimes, pictures don’t need words. Creating art is not tough, just dedication, Determination and the practice can worth it. - Shubhangi Pandey - VI-C

Interview with Miss. Mimita Biswas Class- 12-D Vikrant: Didi, Have you ever planned to top the exam? Mimita: Honestly, No. I did not even think about this. Because it’s such a big achievement that it didn’t even come to my mind. I used to just study and after the exams, I thought that one stage is over and tried not to worry until the result came. So, I just did my best. Livisha: Can you describe the moment when you were declared as CBSE topper? Mimita: Actually, I thought I became Dwarka’s topper. Then my class teacher told me that I topped in Delhi region, and then Assistant Commissioner Sir called and enriched me with his blessings. It really took me few moments to actually get myself to believe it. It was really an amazing moment and I was on cloud 9! Vikrant: What are your future plans? Mimita: I want to pursue Geography Honours and then I want to go for UPSC. Vikrant: Why geography honours only? Mimita: It is my favourite subject. Charan Singh sir who used to teach me geography is an amazing teacher. It is a subject with scientific side and practical approach. Livisha: How supportive were your parents? Mimita: Throughout the year they’ve really helped me a lot. I used to hear from my friends that their parents always told them to study more but mine were the opposite. They tell me not to take stress as I used to stay up late at night. Vikrant: What is the main reason behind your overwhelmingly victory? Mimita: I think anyone can do this, they know what they are doing exactly. I always make sure that whatever I am studying, I am grasping. One should make

study fun. I had a WhatsApp group with my friends in which we put up the questions whenever we studied, this way we had a question bank. Livisha: Would you like to give a piece of advice to student preparing for boards Mimita: Be focused as there are many distractions around you. You have to balance things, like what Buddha use to say about the middle path. Focus on happiness, health and study together. Vikrant: Girls education faced restriction in village areas. Would you like to say something to the girls who never get such a bright chance to study? Mimita: I think some girls accept their fate. This mindset has to change. We should not easily accept whatever is going on in the society. Anyone who believes in themselves can break through society’s dogmas. So just don’t accept it as your fate. Only government cannot do anything, people also need to put in their share. There are a lot of policies but they are not implemented properly. Livisha: How you have managed between studies and social media? Mimita: We can use social media while taking a break, say for instance, one hour studies and then 15 min social media or break or using social media when you are eating etc. You need to do one thing at one time when studying. Vikrant: Had you stopped using the social media platform during the exams? Mimita: My Whatsapp was 24*7 on as it was really important. While studying I used to have many doubts and needed to search instantly. Many times, during studying continuously my mind got fed up and then I used to talk to my friends. Vikrant: There is triangular structure of study in school, tuition and self study. How you had managed your time between these figures? Mimita: First of all, my class teacher Mr. Charan sir used to tell us not to skip school. Humanities students don’t have any specific coaching and tution. It’s always better to read the chapter before teacher’s explanation. One should utilise every single moment like a small gap between two periods, library class etc. to ameliorate their performance.

Livisha: Didi, how you had able to manage your stress? Mimita: I listen to music. I am huge fan of BTS. They are my stress busters 24*7. Vikrant: Would you like to tell us about the things that you like most in your school teachers?  Charan Sir: He is my favourite teacher. Actually Charan sir has a thing that it doesn’t matter for him if you are a topper or not. He will treat everyone equally. He does not see any children differently. He won’t give any topper treatment. That’s what I like most about him. He never distinguishes between his students. Plus, his notes are really superb.  Arun Sir: He was my economics teacher. He was our new teacher in class 12. He used to take class test in a week and rewarded those who excelled in the test with pens, help books etc. He really encourages a lot. He is really friendly.  Anita kohli Ma’am: she is really sweet while talking to everyone and encourages her students a lot.  Vibha Ma’am: She talks about morals a lot. She talks about life lessons. That’s the great thing.  Our history teacher Biswajit sir used to teach us with full brilliance. Actually, he got transferred. We went through a lot at that time. When Ajay Sah Sir came, seriously shocked us with his teaching skills. He gave us very good notes. Livisha: Did you find ever that your classmates were feeling jealous of you, your marks and personality? Mimita: There was a healthy competition. At certain times, my classmates used to get more marks. So, it was good. There was a nice competition. Livisha: Thank You Didi, for such a quality time! Vikrant: All the Best Didi for you future goals! Mimita: Thank You, have a great time ahead both of you.

Interview with Miss. Fiza, XII-D (2019-2020) Livisha: First of all, congratulations for what you’ve done. You’ve scored 96.20% in XII Humanities and have set a benchmark for all of us. Fiza: Thank you! Vikrant: Didi you are the second topper of your class, have you ever thought such position and percentage will be upheld by you? Fiza: I think, I’ve done my best and honestly speaking, I worked very hard whole year and I was definitely expecting 95% + in this examination and I am very happy to see my results. It was all worth it. Livisha: Didi describe the moment when you heard such news? Fiza: it was an overwhelming experience for me. Honestly, my parents were super proud of me and after that I started getting WhatsApp messages and calls from everyone. So, it was very good experience. Vikrant: What are your futuristic aims and plans to achieve that aim? Fiza: In future, I will definitely pursue Geography Honors from Miranda House and then I will definitely go for UPSC. Vikrant: Why geography Honors only? Fiza: Because it’s one of my favourite subjects and I think geography has best scope after graduation. And I also have a very good interest in geography. Livisha: Who played main role behind your victory? Fiza: I would give the role to my parents. Then, my friends and teachers. My parents have supported me a lot and my friends too. It’s very hard to find a company like them so I had a healthy competition. Vikrant: You’ve got second position in regional level quiz; you were also English Editor. So, how you’re able to manage your time with these things and studies? Fiza: I balanced everything. I try to study at the same time with curricular activities so that they will not affect my studies.

Livisha: Didi would you like to say something to the students who are preparing for boards? Fiza: I would say- be consistent in your preparation, put in the hard work, I remember once Charan sir said “life gives you few opportunities, grab them and let it count.” Vikrant: As we all are familiar that girls’ education is assumed as hurdle in Indian society. What do you want to say to the girls who don’t get this chance to prove themselves? Fiza: I think girl education is one the biggest problem in our country. There is a saying “if a boy is educated then a human is educated but if a girl is educated, the whole family is educated.” So, I think an educated female will be independent and fight for her right. It’s today’s need as well as responsibility to provide female education. Livisha: Didi how you had able to manage your time between social media and studies?
