Stelios enjoys the challenge of working on different styles of theatrical productions in many unusual settings all around Melbourne including Federation Square, The Athenaeum, La Mama, The Comedy Club, The Organ Factory, Chapel-off-Chapel and Theatreworks. He is also the resident lighting designer for Red Stitch Actors’ Theatre. For CLOC, Stelios has created brilliantly conceived and innovative lighting designs for Company, West Side Story, Hot Mikado, Gigi, Cats, Blood Brothers and The Boy from Oz, receiving Guild nominations for all seven productions. Stelios also won well-deserved consecutive Guild awards for his brilliant designs in 2005 for CLOC’s Jekyll & Hyde and then again in 2006, for our Production of the Year, The Scarlet Pimpernel. In this, his ten year anniversary of working with CLOC, it is appropriate that Stelios is designing his tenth production with us, and then will return to also design the lights for our next production, High Society. Despite her looks, where Bianca tells us she is always being mistaken as being of Asian background, she is not Asian, but has a most unusual ancestral combination. Her father is from Cyprus and her mother from Czechoslovakia, both parents immigrating with their families to Australia as teenagers. Bianca spent ten years as a member of the Australian Girls Choir, highlights of which 5 included performing annually at Carols by Candlelight, performing at the Melbourne Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony, and as part of the Hugh Jackman Boy from Oz Arena Spectacular. In 2007-8, Bianca completed an Advanced Music Theatre course with Centrestage, and also began to perform with some of Melbourne’s music theatre companies. She has appeared in High School Musical (CPAC), Rent (Players Theatre), and earlier this year, played the lead role of Carmen in SPX Waterdale’s production 6 of Fame. Bianca came to the Miss Saigon audition seeking a role in the ensemble. At the end of a rigorous audition process, she was thrilled and overwhelmed to be offered the lead role of Kim, a dream come true for her so early in her theatre career. 6

He is a prolific regular performer in musical theatre – his energy, enthusiasm and stamina are boundless, not to mention his talents and skills on stage. In three years alone, from 2006-8, Nick appeared in lead roles in 13 shows for various companies, as well as keeping up his university studies! The Music Theatre Guild recognised Nick’s work with a Judges Award for his contributions to three shows in 2006 (Into the Woods, Hot Mikado, The Wild Party). In 2007, Nick appeared in no less than SIX shows, including SHOUT! for CLOC (in which he played one of the Delltones), Urinetown, Putting It Together, Songs for a New World, Mary Bryant and Suddenly Single. Last year, Nick had a quiet year by comparison – only three productions, Bare (Peter-SHooSH, Guild nomination), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Jimmy-Catchment), and Aida (Mereb-Whitehorse). We are very pleased that Nick has begun his somewhat less hectic 2009 performing schedule by returning to appear in his second CLOC show. 7
